To: "lily.hermansen@steaknshake.com" Subject: Re: Feedback to Steak N Shake   Hello Lilly,  Thank you for the rapid response to my web-submitted feedback on my adventures at Steak 'N Shae and Eat'n Park in Tarentum at the Pittsburgh Mills.  I apologize for taking so long to reply to your letter.  I have had a great deal of things going on in my life lately.  I appreciate your concern, and hope that things are being worked out at the Tarentum restaurant.   You should know that you replied sooner than Eat'n Park, but they did send a letter and a coupon for a free ½ dozen Smiley Cookies in the mail.  I'm not looking for free handouts, but it is nice to see that both companies care about their customers' experience, even if it doesn't always trickle down to every level.  I really think that more people should have higher standards for customer service everywhere...  then we wouldn't run into things like the people who are hired as "greeters" but don't even say hello to you when you walk into WAL*MART.   I have taken it on myself to become a consumer advocate for the little guy...  all across the world, and eventually even for people on the moon once we colonize there.  I am just sick and tired of declining customer service everywhere, so I have decided to start letting people know about it.  I've also decided to let people know about great customer service.  Hopefully I'll be writing back to you after my next Steak N' Shake visit to tell you how enjoyable it was.   I have actually been craving a Steak N' Shake burger since that day, but I think I will stick to the Robinson or Waterfront locations.  I have been telling others of my quest for excellence in the way that people treat each other in general.  You may want to check out his blog post to see others' comments on my adventures:  Click here to check it out.  There are even responses to your letter, and the response from Eat'n Park posted.  Thank you again for your time, & concern.  I wish the best of luck to Steak N' Shake in future service & endeavors.    Hungrily, -ERiC AiXeLsyD W(aL)D
