She said... (after staring for a few seconds)... "Oh my, that's an ugly dog." I just kind've looked at her, dumbfounded... She did pick that up (I would have to guess) and said... "That's a picture of your dog, right? Freind. For. Life."

I said, (still bewildered)... "Um, no, it's just a skull. ...Like the head, ...of a skeleton."

She said... "Oh, that's not very nice. That's not a good friend."

I couldn't even go into explaining that it said FIEND, let alone that it was a band's logo and fan club type of a deal.

I have a few Peelander-Z pins on it, and people usually look at those or sometimes even ask about them... but I was just really speechless at that exchange. I managed to tell her to have a happy new year, and left. It was a forgettable enough incident at the time, but now I sit pondering the entire exchange, and I'm left wondering...

WTF?

Does the crimson ghost look like a dog? Was her vision really that bad?  Should this woman be dealing with money and/or the public?  Did the bones conjure up the image of the dog?
