Dear Eric,

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Web site and e-mail Anheuser-Busch. We appreciate your interest in our company and the availability of the Michelob Amber Bock brand.

That being said, we apologize that you were unable to find the information you were seeking online. For reference, Michelob Amber Bock has been available year-round since 1995.

Unfortunately, your state's laws strictly prohibit us from directing our consumers to specific points of purchase. We apologize for any disappointment that this may cause.

Below you will find the contact information for the Anheuser-Busch wholesaler that services your area. The personnel at Fuhrer Eagle Sales and Service will be able to provide you with more information on the regional availability of this brand.

yea, it really was very annoying to try and buy Yeungling (which is annoying b/c it's not available in Ohio) , i went to a liquor store, and they didnt sell beer! they pointed me down the road to this little place with just boxes of beer, bizarre. Seriously, why can't I just walk into a Giant Eagle like a normal person? Sorry you have to put up with that constantly.

I see you've become a ninja!  PA alchohol laws are quite strange.

You have beer distributors for beer & sometimes pop & other beer-related snacks.  They can only sell beer/malt liqors/wine coolers by the case.

Then there are six-pack shops... where you can buy ...six-packs.  There's a limit per purchase though...  I foget if it's 2 or 4.  But... you can buy your limit, put it in the car, then come back in & buy more.

Then for any other liquor like wines, tequila, wiskey, etc... you have to go to the State Store.  Apparently the gub'ment is the only one qualified to distribute alchohol to you while simultaneously taxing you out the ass.

There are weird rules about serving alchohol for bars as far as times & whatever, & they're different if you're a restaurant... and you can servie it at 18 but not drink it until you're 21...  There's also a way around selling alchohol for after-hours clubs, apparently you can buy chips or coupons, then trade for beers later, & you're not selling it after a certain time.

Then, there were some crazy rules about alchohol sales in strip clubs that have been recently changed.  It used to be that if the girls got fully nude, they couldn't sell beer, but it could be B.Y.O.B., but if they sold alchohol, the girls had to wear g-strings and pasties.

There are also "dry" towns scattered about... where there are a ton of bars all along the borders.

I've lived here all my life & still don't understand it all.
