Ok.. As i was rearranging my site a bit i noticed i have like 2 or 3 blogs that are the same thing.. mainly just general information and FAQ's. So i figured i would just redo the whole thing and do some updating. I have also been getting questions about something's that I don't believe were answered on the other pages so i will also answer those..

General Information:

Everything that you see on this site I made. There is only one person making these designs that is me.
I spend hours at times on just one layout. I take a lot of pride in my work. You are more than welcome to
help yourself to my creations, that is why I created this site

But all I ask is that you respect my work. That means that my watermarks and my links are to stay on everything! And DO NOT tear apart my work
Removing my watermarks from my images is tearing apart my work, taking any images that I have made and try to create over it such as adding your own writing or pictures or anything of that nature that is basically ruin my original design that is tearing apart my work. If I see it I will ban you from my site and I will also give your name to other layout artists so that they are aware of what type of person you are. That might sound harsh and trust me I am not a mean person but like I stated above I take a lot of time on my designs and I don't appreciate my work being torn apart.

Suggestions are always welcome. You can always message me and leave me with some suggestions or even donate some pictures to me to use in my layouts and icons. But please don't ask me to change the color and what not of a layout that I already made. I always get questions like this and I will not do it. When i make a layout i choose the colors that I feel goes best with what I am designing. And I wont do any color changes.

You are more than welcome to message me. I don't shut off my messages and more than likely never will. I am here to support you all, that is my one concern. I run a support group and have been doing so for over 3 years now, so i am always here if anyone needs me. Just understand though, I get literally over 100+ messages a day, I do read ALL OF THEM but I might not be able to respond to them all. I try to trust me i try to, and it might take me a while to respond to you but I do my best.

And last but not least... I do this in my free time. I have a job during the day and I run my store online when i get home from my day job. I also run a support group on yahoo for Marine Wives, Girlfriends and Fiancées. So to sum it up I am a very busy person when i am on here. When I am not that busy or need a break on other things i make layouts and icons. So all I ask is that I might not get a layout out every week or every 2 weeks but I will get new layouts and things out you just have to be patient with me.

FAQ'S:

1.Can I use your layouts?

Of course you can. But you have to be on my friends list in order to have access to my layouts and use them. And please be sure to follow my rules.

2. How do I use your layouts?

Simple. Just copy the code that is below the preview of the layout and paste the code into your About Me section.

3. Your icons do not have any codes with them, how do I use them?

My icons do not have any codes because i have too many icons and i will NOT let you use my hosting for them. I actually pay for my hosting on photobucket. So when it comes to using my icons your have to use your own hosting (i.e.photobucket.com, tinypic.com, imageshack,etc) You save the icons you want to your computer and then upload them to your own hosting account and then grab the proper codes from your hosting account to add them to your myspace profile.

4. What program do you use to make your designs?

I use 4 programs. I use Paint Shop Pro XI, Adobe Photoshop CS2, Animation Shop and Adobe Image Ready.But i also have quite a few years behind me. I have been designing for a long time.

5. Do you take requests?

Yea and no.. If you are looking for a custom layout or custom icon i do those for a small fee. And no its not because i want the money, its because i do not have the time to make everyone a custom layout. I love to make personalized things. If i had the time i would do nothing but make personlized things for free. But being that if i did it for free i would literally be sitting here 24-7 doing nothing but custom layouts and icons. So to those who really do want something personlized by me, whether it be a custom layout or custom icons. I will do them for a small fee...

If you arent looking for something that is actually personalized. But more of a suggestion to suggest me a layout or icon you would like to see you are more than welcome to message me and send me your suggestion. Just please understand, i get tons and tons of suggestions each day. I cannot make every suggestion that i get but i will hold onto your message and maybe make it later on down road. I just simply cannot make every idea.

6. Will you teach me how to make layouts?

NO!!!!!  I do not mean it in a mean way. I am always getting messages that are asking me to teach others how to make layouts. I DO NOT have the time to teach someone how to do what i do. I had NO ONE teach me any of this. I simply learned everything on my own but your basica trial and error. My Marine was going on deployment, it was our first deployment we were going to go through together this was about 6 years ago. When he left I wanted something that i could do to stay busy and keep my mind off of him being gone all the time. I jumped on the computer, heard about PSP, got that program and just started palying around with it. I have been creating since then. But i taught myself, no one taught me how to do this stuff.  And i dont have the time to teach others. But there are plenty of tutorials on the net that you could find to help you out.

7. Why isn't the background of my layout fitting my whole page, I see a grey area?

Ok i will try and explain this. First do not blame this on me. It really has nothing to do with my designs. Its basically your internet explorer (or whatever you use) and the factory settings that it has. When i make my backgrounds i usually use the dimensions of 2000 X 2000 to be on the safe side. But now with photobucket not letting you have big images like that they usually resize it. So now i make images around 1024 X 768.

At any rate, its not my fault. Its basically your Internet Explorere or whatever you use. So here is what you can do. This usually fixes the problem for those that are having this sort of issue. In the layout code at the top is where the background is, you will see no-repeat after the background image. Just take the no- out and leave it to where it says repeat. And that should fix the problem.

8. How do i know when you post a new layout?

I post all my layouts and icons threw my blogs. The ONLY way to get notified right away of when i posted new things is to subscribe to my blog. Usually i will also post a bulletin about new layouts being posted. But if you get a lot of bulletins each day you might not see it. So if you want to know of when i post new things subscribe to my blog.

9. Where is your watermark at?

I put a watermark on all my layouts. Actually my very first layouts don't have watermarks on them because i was honestly to lazy to add them at the time or  i would forget about them...lol.. But the rest of my layouts do have watermarks on them. And my watermarks vary, but they will always be in the banner image and my watermarks always say either: ndk, nikayscreations, made by nikay, or www.myspace.com/nikayscreations. DO NOT REMOVE MY WATERMARK.

4. Please use your manners. If you have to message me asking me something or letting me know either a code isn't working or that i might have misspelled something, please do it nicely. Do not be nasty about it. We all make mistakes. Being nasty and rude with me will not get you anywhere.

5. Do NOT message me and ask me to teach you how to make layouts to make your own layout site. Like i stated above, i learned and taught myself on my own. And you should be able to do the same.

6. Please do not ask me to make changes to a layout i already made. Such as i will not make the layout again in another color, i do my best to make layouts for each branch BUT sometimes a layout i make is only for one branch if that happens there is a reason for it, i will NOT make layouts for MOS's. I might do some occasionally but really there are TONS of MOS's and i wont make layouts for those.

7. Do NOT hotlink/direct from my site. Any banners or icons that I make MUST be saved to your computer and uploaded to your OWN hosting account.

8 Do not email my layout codes to other people. Its simple to just give them the link to my profile and let them get things for themselves.

9. Do not claim anything on this site as your own
