The notes echo in my mind
I can feel the cool kiss of the ocean's grip to my fingertips
Laying in my blue row boat, I look to the sky and think of you.
The sweet kiss of the breeze dancing across my skin,
just like your lips
the wisp that seemed to send me further adrift
played the sound that most soothes
the waves lapping against my ship
I think of you
my foot dangling over the starboard side
my toes meeting the wind
I think of you
The sun's rays piercing the azure canvas
the clouds just stains against the backdrop
the strands of gold bringing you to mind
the shift of this little dingy
brings me to this world in the melody
of the song that reminds me
of the sky that lays in your eyes
my vessel fades, the waves to grass,
my hand in yours as we relax and see the stars
the moon so bright
the night that we live in
the same breeze in which you whispered
shivers cover me even now
A harsher gale strains the walls
I wake in our small quarters
the small beams of light lead my eyes
to the sleeping form that lie beside me
those ash-coated golden locks,
those lips so delicious, so fine
Those eyes closed
this love of mine.
I shiver from the cold and beneath the blanket i slide
to see that soft smile
and to see the dawn of those beautiful eyes
a good morning or two
even though its past noon
this scene can never leave my mind
we live in a world all our own
despite space and time

when i gaze into those wondrous eyes...

I was having a rough day caused by my illness rushing memories of the past to my mind but the song,"Into the Ocean" by Blue October brought me back to that which matters most. My connection to him...
All that I need to do is see his eyes and all of my worries, cares, negativity, sadness and pain melts away...
His eyes are magic but his lips...*faints*
