On December 21, for the fourth consecutive year Home to Henry played Blankfest, Kenn Rowell's yearly benefit for the homeless.

We had the pleasure of playing with an old friend, although another old friend was certainly missed.

Our original bass player, Jim Stellato, moved with his family to Japan in June of last year.  Jim's playing and singing was integral to the Home to Henry sound, and although he was replaced, ably, by Todd, he was still very much missed.

He returned to the states on December 20.  Beforehand, we decided that it would be fantastic to play this yearly gig with Jim, having Todd slide over to guitar for this show.

Jim played, Todd strummed, Jason did his Jason thing, I sang, and we all had a blast.  The social part of it was almost as important; in addition to being band-mates, we've all become real friends, and this combination was one that never existed before...and may never again!

We did miss Rob, our erstwhile drummer, of course.  His voice and playing are evident by absence.  I'm singing, and where I usually heard Rob's voice joining with mine...nothing.  Strange.

There are new pictures of the Blankfest gig up on our page here.  Enjoy!
