A heavy air lingers in the office today as everyone laments two major losses in the music industry.  Both will drastically change the industry as we know it.  The first major loss deals with the Virgin Megastore in Times Square New York. It is closing, and will allegedly be replaced by Forever 21.  I believe that is a lame-ass tween clothing store, but I could be wrong.  The second major loss concerns the movie The Jonas Brothers: the 3D Concert Experience.  It was a complete flop at the box office.

Ok, so maybe the second one isn't such a big deal, but Brian is really worked up over it.  I got him a cup of water and some tissues, but he is just now barely recovering from his intense sobbing.  It makes the rest of us around the office a little uncomfortable.  We didn't know he liked them so much.  But in all seriousness, it is apparent that the concert movie is not a genre America is willing to take back.

The Virgin Megastore closing down, however, is a big deal.  Record shopping in person is simply out of fashion.  It is no longer profitable these days with all of the illegal downloading and streaming that goes on online.  People just don't want all that plastic and packaging when it 's all going on to an iPod anyway.

You might ask what should you do in these desperate times.  Well here is the answer; go to http://www.funzalorecords.com/ and order any of our incredible artists' music online.  It costs less than the $15.19 discounted CD you could buy at the Virgin Megastore, and it can be bought directly onto your iTunes!  What's more is that it's high quality and sounds much better than that shit you download off Limewire.  Experience the new-wave trend of ordering your music legally online today.  It is incredibly invigorating!
