Hi all, I'm an intern here at Funzalo Records. I have been working here for about 2 months and it has been a lot different than I thought. I thought it would be good for people to know what its like to work for an independant record label because a common misunderstanding is that record labels have unlimited amounts of money that gets thrown around for their artists and that simply isn't the case. A lot of work is done to just get an artist noticed let alone have an album produced and it can at times be frustrating as hell to not have things happened the way they're planned. So with this said, I'm going to give insight to how some things are done around here to shed some reality on this business. Although I am just an intern, you gotta crawl before you walk and I hope that through my exeperiences you can better understand how s*** goes down in the industry. Hope you enjoy,
