Category: News and Politics
In politics one must be prepared to fight the ideological battles and pray that their tactic and skill reward their particular cause or belief. It is because of the very nature of the field that brings personal attacks, slander, and lies. Unfortunately, games are played not to benefit the American people, but in an attempt to discredit a particular cause or issue by what can best be described as 'guilt by association' or playing in the 'court of public opinion.'

I've been political active for some years now, however with New Media finally getting half the notice it should get from members in my party, I've been able to help the cause and fight for my beliefs in more ways than dreamed of.

New Media is the internet, it's bridging the gap between the GenNext voter and those in power, and it is also implementing new technologies to bring the people new use of their God-given rights.

This past summer I leaped into blogging. I am a civic minded person and a political fighter. I drew the attention of Conservatives and Republicans on MySpace through several different innovative blog series and have attracted a plethora of associates. I now stand slandered and abused by a former casual associate and worset yet he used the very microphone that gives the people a better grasp of our great Republic: New Media and the blogosphere.

I stand here to testify to the accounts that some of you have read about in hopes of vindicating myself and remaining one of the most transparent online political activist on the Conservative side. I am a God-fearing young man and will be judged by the Creator accordingly. I do however have a responsibility to the causes I have spent countless hours promoting, the friends I have made both politically and socially, and to the community. I am been very blessed to write and debate with many of you and receive the welcome I have from many of you.

I must now address the claims made to prove my former associate a liar and allow your critiques to reach my ears directly. The Bible reads that Leaders, and this applies both politically and religiously, face a greater judgment before God. This same principle is used when the Founding Fathers crafted this great Republic. I must call upon those in my community, my readers, my friends to review the claims and use good and honest discernment to discover the truth. If this reduces my influence or political capital to zero, than so be it. I will stand bare before you my friends.

It's hard to say that 'in my youth I made some mistakes,' while being only 22 years old. It seems unfinished, unachieved, almost an all too casual plea. However, I must say that in my youth and more specifically during three or four months of my life last year I associated with the wrong people and got myself into some trouble before being corrected.

My accuser has had privy to the same information I will present before you, however has avoided it and now made a fool of himself while ruining my good name.

Last year one of my associates, to go unnamed of course, found himself in trouble and implicated himself. My name was bought up and in youth ignorance, and maybe it was the arrogance of a Lawyer's son, I too implicated myself. I ended up saving a friend from jail time, however I cheated society by not allowing him to answer for his own sins and cheated myself. I quickly learned the real mess I had gotten myself into. I now stand with a tarnished record, all for the sake of loyalty and friendship (although admittedly misguided). I no longer associate with any of the people from that past and we have all moved on to what I am sure are more productive and civilly minded lives. Some call it the curse of being 21 others an overwhelming desire for man's nature to bleed out in a young man otherwise  untarnished by serious vices.

Here's a glimpse into my past: I have no addictions to any substance that I know of. I don't abuse alcohol, I have never used illegal drugs of any kind, and to be frank for a moment I didn't face many of the adolescence challenges that face our high school students today regarding hormonal urges. I have lived a good and decent life erring only once with the law. I have no juvenile record. I have volunteered in different capacity all my life, mainly with focus on Spiritual/Religious programs and mission trips.

I answered for implicating myself for a friend and was arrested. It is an experience that will haunt me and my family to the day I am laid to rest. The dishonor I have caused my family is done. I now am involved with the District Judge and District Attorney's office in clearing my name through a very rigorous program. I am approaching the end and the State has said, "this is a case of [a] good kid growing up." This is a slap on the hand comparatively. I am fortunate to have a wonderful personal support system and a loving mother in the legal field. I was never indicted, but stood and plead before a judge as it was the right thing to do. I will not bore you with the complications of the legal system over here in Texas, however I will be most forthcoming should you contact me in hopes of better understanding.

Let me be clear: I have no record, however I must legally comply with the State so that the Judge will dismiss the charge that I stood before him and said, "I will take responsibility your Honor."

I have never lived a more humiliating day in my life and have paid ten-fold.

My accuser also claims that I have been convicted of two more charges, one of those being a felony. This simply is not true, however recently the State has approached me wanting to obtain information about a past associate. I have  cooperated at lengths, however that was not good enough for some.

I would really not rather get into details but the abridged version is that these two charges simply will not stand for many reasons, one of which the State already has a confession from the actual person of the offense. I want to be a little more frank: they cannot find this person and think that by some miracle or by my will alone I can summon him. This simply is not true. I have cut all ties with that tattered past and do not intend to allow an offense that I am told occurred over a year ago and by someone else, mind you, by their own admission, to change my course.

I like many of you have made many mistakes. My mistake here is my inability to sometimes discern the good people from the bad.

At the end of the day and very shortly might I add, all will be dismissed and I will be as I was before my youthful ignorance and lust for life: clean.

Now you know why I had to be absent two months this past fall. I apologize again for my absence. I greatly missed the community.

Unfortunately for those of you who are hearing this all for the first time, there's more. My accuser claims something that is bigger than you and me. He has claimed that I and somehow Senator John McCain plan to rig this election, and more specifically that I have rigged ballot boxes prior to this date in Texas.

I would encourage him to contact the Secretary of State if such concern does exist. I'm sure the State will respond with a criminal suit for bringing false claims.

Now I'm not going to attack my accuser personally. His dirt is out there and sure enough to turn up. I won't bring up his fabricated "witness" or his threats against the government or me, myself. I'll also go above these attacks and avoid talking about (libertarian host) Eric Dondero's lifestyle or the fact that he tried to bring this circus to my doorstep in collaboration with my accuser.

My accuser alleges that I belong to the John McCain campaign: This is false. Let me go through some other claims.

Allegation: Blogs4McCain being a creation of my own: FALSE
Allegation: I had any part in the creation of JohnMcCain.com: FALSE
Allegation: That I am involved with graphic work with McCain's campaign: FALSE
Allegation: That I am/was a Spokesperson for McCain's campaign.: FALSE (Furthermore, I agreed to an interview with the Libertarian show as a McCain supporter and "Republican strategist," which is fancy for 'I know politics')
Allegation: That I hacked, invaded, and deleted a trivial blog: FALSE
Allegation: That I program voting machines or work for any entity that programs: FALSE
Allegation: That I am involved with a corrupt police chief: FALSE (so-called corrupt ex-police chief which never was proven; imagine that due process)

Let me be clear; my right to support my beliefs and those I see for office cannot be torn down by such claims. My accuser and, regrettably, his Libertarian friends have seen fit to attempt to discredit and slander me in an attempt to charge our government with fraud, implicate McCain with voter manipulation, and attack even the "RNC."

I know this all sounds far-fetched, however those of you who travel the blogosphere daily may have seen my name and this scandal gather traction.

I DO NOT believe in voter fraud or will never encourage such.

My accuser has made it clear, through his own statements, that he is lashing out because somehow some of his blog content got deleted.

Dondero says this after allowing my accuser on his internet radio show, "I think Mr.McCain is an honorable man. This has nothing to do Mr. McCain." They are taking shots at McCain, while backing down from them at the same time.

These people are people are most irrational and I have been humiliated by even addressing these matters. I have taken the necessary steps to ensure that certain causes and people are not affected by my past association with this ailment to democracy: my accuser.

I will address this all and more on my weekly blogtalkradio.com/righttalk show with my good friend Cory tonight at 8pm (CST). I pray this is all laid to rest and I will repeat, if I am politically dead for exercising my civic duty then so be it. I will fade if that is what the community desires.

It's been nice my friends, it really has. I apologize again for any of you who have looked to me for information, political guidence, or a Conservative worldview.
Dennis

I am sorry this has happened to you. You however are a moderate and not a conservative. No conservative gives John McCain the time of day

If the charge is rigging the election for McCain then McCain should be suing you for your failure to deliver.

In my eyes you never did anything wrong except give some of the best political advice I have ever heard and make people want to be more involved in politics and for that I thank you Ali!
Senator McCain still has my vote, and you are still top of your game in my eyes.

It may not make you feel better at the moment Ali, but I am sure you will be vindicated. I've never spoken about it online either and I won't name names, but I will say that the disgusting behavior, vendettas, and methodology I have witnessed in my town locally among various departments and entities, continuously, played an enormous part in why I took such a passionate interest in politics and is exactly what drove me to study law as a career at an early age. Things like this make us even more acutely aware of what is right and wrong, and serve to guide our actions and endeavors later in life--and fuel a lifelong desire to see to it that the "system" does things the RIGHT way.

Ali,
I just read the above and am so very sorry that someone else has decided they don't like what you are doing, nor for whom you are backing. However, I am just one of your many, many friends here on line who have the utmost respect for all your hard work, what you stand for most importantly we know who the real "Ali" is. Ali is a very decent young man, doing what he love's to do here on my space, along with your own "Blogs" and more.
You are a wonderful young man, one I'm proud to say I'm glad we are true friends.
You'll do fine my young friend, keep the Faith.
Remember my Prayer's and thoughts are with you.
Take good care my friend.
Andi

Character ... A defining quality, and you have it my friend. You and I have such similar beliefs and views - at least with regards to the Internet and its potential place in our republic. I am sorry for what you have gone through with Joey, and I reiterate, as I have said to you in the past, you have great potential and ideals.

This will pass. As you get older, you will get better at recognizing people like Joey for what they are. You did the right thing by getting this out in the open to be dealt with now. Stay a leader and take our voices to our elected officials by continuing your efforts at pioneering the "new media".

Thank-you for setting an example and raising the bar.

This here is a great friend of mine. I found him while on deployment (for which i still am with 2nd bn 1st Mar) I am going home and hoping to see him. I have to say it is because of him that I am more politicaly active then ever. Yes he talked to me about politics (which he said he likes doing) He has not once tried to get me to think one way or another. We have our differences at times but we talk, not smear. I say this "man" shouldnt smear but hey. Oh well, Im here doing my job so that he can say what he wants. If he has any more beef send him my way Ali. ;)
