IndividualIndustry has started its musical activities in 1987, with Alexandre Twin.
Between 87-90 10 demo tapes were recorded by him alone. In 1990 Maurizio Bonitoand Lilian Vaz joined the band and six months later they released their firstofficial demo tape called “Apology”. At the end of 1991, the song “Paradise

” was included on a Brazilian compilation,“Minimal Synth Ethics - Volume 1”

,which had been played exhausting at the alternative German night clubs. At thesame time, the band started doing live concerts, conquering its first fans.Theydid more than 30 concerts between 1991-1997.

Between July of 1992 and February of1993, the band were in studio recording its first album, “Templum Probus”released in July of 1993 and produced by Apollo IX. Before this, the band hascontributed with a song “Lupus Et Agnus - remix” for the brazilian compilationAbsolute Control.

“Templum Probus” was firstlyreleased in Brazil

,after that, Subtronic label, licensed the album in Germany

. In Europe

the distribution was made by SPV. The album was well accepted by the critic,with report at the main Brazilian newspapers and magazines as: Folha de SãoPaulo, Bizz, Jornal da Tarde, O Estado De São Paulo. And in another countrieslike: Blits (Portugal

),Side-Line (Belgium

),Phosphor (Holland

), Dyadique (France),Technology Works (USA), New Life (Germany

), and some others.

Still in 1993 was released thesecond volume of “Minimal Synth Ethics”, wich one, Individual Industry hascolaborated with the track “Eyes”, besides the participation at the Germancompilation “Rotation 3”

with an exclusive remix of “Paradise”. The band has participated of a lot ofcassettes compilations in Brazil

and another countries.

Individual Industry music got in alot of european radios, getting in the hit parade of May 12th, 1993 at DiadeRadio (Belgium

).It was played also at Rádio Baía (Portugal

),Libertáire (France), Gien (France

)and Overnoise (France

).

In August of 1994, IndividualIndustry got back on stage to opening a show for the German band SecondDecay, at SESC Ipiranga, SP, Brazil

. It wasalso being invited to play at BHRJF, Minas Gerais, Brazil

, but by a selfchoice, itdidn’t happen.

At the beginning of 1995, Mauriciogot out of the band and Alexandre started recordings of the next album, Lilianwas the next to leave the band. After that Danyela Gato took over the vocals.

In 1996 released the newAlbum “Ice Water” with production byRoberto Verta from band “Harry”. This album had its distribution in Brasil by“Estudio Eldorado” in Europe by “Triton”(Germany

),“Prikosnovenie”(France) and “Audioglobe”(Italy

/Around The World). The bandrecorded a TV Show called “Metropolis” with a song “Cubic” in a special performance with a Violinist.

“Ice-Water” have specialguests “Franck Lopez”, “Patrick L.Robin ” and “Catherine-Marie” from Frenchband “Opera Multi Steel” on the vocals in “Vie Si Juliment Vide” and that songwas the first Individual Industry video-clip. They opened the first show fromFrench band Opera Multi Steel in its brazilian tour in October/97 in the“Theatre Mars” and a performance in a project from SESC called “Babel

” in the same year!At the same year, they did a cover version from “New Order´s” song “BizarreLove Triangle” to a brazilian tribute “Essence”.

In 1997 are recorded someremixes from “Ice Water” by “Marcelo Gallo” from brazilian bands PYM/ Nude. Ashort movie called “Boiled Baby” from Germany

, have the song “Primer” inyour soundtrack.

In August from 2000, theband started to record a new album called “Dreams Never End” and will have “ToSir with Love” a cover version from Lulu song’s from 1966. The new materialwill have groove/Trip Hop with influencies from brazilian music and modernmusic.

In 2001, the new song “Amy”had been produced by Ambrose Reynolds from English cult band “Pink Industry”from the 80’s. The song “The Key of Dreams” have a special guest singer Carla Picchiopanno from the French band“Speaking Silence”).

In 2003, a

remix from a newversion of the song “Zhairrec” isincluded on a brazilian compilation “Urban Mood” by Azul Music. A Limited Box set ( 100 copies )is released in December to commemorate 15 years from Individual Industry!

In the year 2007,the band back with a new Mcd called “Amy”featuring Carine Grieg and AmbroseReynolds (Pink Industry) and released by Wave Records from Brazil. The band nowis just Alex Twin and Maurizio Bonito with guest singers. Finally after 11years of delay, the new album “Dreams Never End” came in jan. 2011 with brandnew tracks and released by Wave Records. One compilation with tracks of alldeleted albuns and new tracks, was released in Russia to sell worldwide by OtherVoices in the same year.
