ALRIGHT so I heard that some of you are having a hard time with viewing my pictures on the gallery I had on my site. The problem is that there are too many for the flash viewer and its having a very hard time loading on some of your computers.

SO I posted a blog on the Aberazzi myspace page

Well its been an entire summer and I really haven't done anything. I did get to take some shots at a lot of shows this past year but other than that, I really haven't done much work.

BUT THIS PAST WEEKEND....I took it into overdrive and worked.

I started Friday morning with a food product shoot for a restaurant.

Then I came home and did a shoot for my friend Laura.

I went out partied a bit that night and made some new friends.
but I did not take my camera out that night....I should have though.

Saturday. I woke up early to shoot In Case of Emergency.
They wanted something at the skate park so we set up their equipment.

THEN right after that I did some individual shots of The Final Stretch
while at Nowhere.....we got to make some really fun stuff...these where
the first shots I did and the others are not ready yet....

After our shoot at Nowhere, we went to Cine El Rey for their show...

Sunday, was a photo edit day, with some sleep but it was also
a night for Rey's birthday party here at our house, it was a good night.

I posted this here first, but on Aberazzi as well. I never know which myspace actually receives more traffic.

Hey everyone,
Well I know a lot of you have not heard from me, some of you haven't seen me in even weeks. I promise you, I am not trying to avoid you, I've just been in hiding for awhile. This past year I took it upon myself to start taking on new projects to put me at a new level with my photography and start becoming more business oriented. Well sadly I took on too much work at once. I started to become overwhelmed with everything that I had going on that I just could not keep up with it all. It doesn't help that I had a horrible accident with a hard drive that lost all the work I had been doing on two big contracts that I was working on. I am finally catching up with all of my work this week.

Its really not fair on my part to the people that have helped me get to where I am at and for that I am sorry to those of you. I feel like I have burnt some bridges and lost some friendships because of the things that have been going on in the past 6 months, but I really hope thats not the case.

I really can't wait to get all of this done and finished....
I know a lot of you have been trying to get a hold of me...
this past week was insane with people calling and texting and if you didn't get any answers from me, well thats because I had lost my phones, but usually I turn them off when I come to Harlingen to work. The reason I come to Harlingen is so that I can get away from all the distractions and really concentrate on work. I had more than one reason for coming last week though. As some of you know, my mom broke her foot awhile back and was in a wheel chair. She really couldn't do things on her own and my dad flew out for the US Open at Torrey Pines in San Diego. So I came to do a little work, but mostly help out my mom. This week is back to an insane amount of work and no sleep.

I have also been working on a few other projects that I am kind of excited about but not yet ready to tell anyone. A few of you that are close to me already kind of know about one of them. Some of you know about another and well maybe a few others might just know about all of them haha.

well I leave you with a picture of me working at my parents right now....
and yes I grew a beard, its part of my "keep working" routine.

haha, so most of you that know me, know I like indie music, sometimes even just chill to the melow sounds of Jack Johnson or listen to some techno-electro-pop.

BUT yesterday, I went to go see my friends The Requested play in McAllen at the Incubator and helped run the door or anything else. I managed to take a few shots of the show and man these bands to me where pretty "hardcore" but I really ENJOYED IT....

I managed to get some great shots while I was there, so check them out, let me know what you think....

Specially since it was also Zar's Birthday show.

Wow well its been awhile since I posted up a blog on Myspace. I guess thats because I started my BlogSpot back in October and haven't really seen much use to post huge blogs filled with tons of pictures.

BUT I thought it would be nice of me to catch you guys and girls up on my life and business since only like 10% of ya'll actually go and read my BlogSpot.

Well this year has been crazy for me, I started out with not having ANY WORK! School photography is my day job and is my largest contract. Sadly there is not much school photography in January and so I had to really budget my money accordingly since I didn't know when my next paycheck was going to be. Well, luckly the school pictures is booming now and I have shoots 3 to 4 times a week with the company I work with, and I also have my own shoots on the side as well.

Melba's dance school had their recital this past month and it was exciting to see. I had done all their photography for their program. Now they have a HUGE shoot for me coming up in March, which really means that you probably won't be hearing or seeing me for about half the month of March.

Melba's pictures for their program and some just for them.
Barb in her hip hop dance costume.

Head shot for program.

Dance Class....

MGC being silly.

and one from the "program" that I call a recital haha

Other than Melbas, I also managed to shoot the Harlingen South Baseball team pictures. I am actually working on them at this very minute haha.

There was The Secret Handshake and Halos show this year...

Then of course all the small little shoots here and there....
Last week I hung out with Adri to show her how to use her Rebel
and had our friend Katie to take pictures of...

Then like last night, I had a shoot with an old friend to help her out for a modeling contest she is going to be competing in. She called me with about a 2hr notice that she needed these pictures. One being a head shot, a full body shot, and swim suit. So this what we got in the very small time frame that we had...

hmm ok well I don't know what else to say...I know I have a lot more shoots coming up and so maybe I'll try and keep you guys up to day a little more often.

IN FACT this weekend I will be taking over 1,000 pictures and the weekend after that I will probably hit around 3,000. SO REALLY BLOGS are in the NEAR future haha.

let me know what ya'll think

Category: Parties and Nightlife
So its been a long time since I posted a BLOG on here, specially since I started using aberobledo.blogspot.com but hey its all good.

So on Thursday night I went out with my friends and took pictures at the Soulja Boy concert in McAllen. We partied so hard that night and there were a lot of pictures taken. After going through all the images I realized why I had stopped drinking when going out to take pictures. So many of them were out of focus or had the wrong settings. I was like DANG IT, no more drinking on the job haha.

BUT at least I got to get a few pictures out of the night...well 55 to be exact, specially if you don't count the 20 or so pictures I took of Nina partying at Pure.

Here are the pictures....

I know these are really late and I am sorry for that. I have been extremely busy these past few weeks with work and moving and just tons of things. I finally sat down today and went through my Silverstein pictures and found some good ones. A lot of you have been messaging me and IMing and texting me to see them, SO I thought I would put them in a blog of their own.

The show line up was Dance Gavin Dance, Strike Anywhere, From Autumn to Ashes and headlining was Silverstein.
