I don't normally enter contests.  I never win unless it's something I can't use.  I remember constantly winning free music downloads when Pepsi first started those and I was convinced that the only reason why I won them was because I didn't own a computer back then.  It's pretty hard to use those downloads without a computer-- I tell ya.

But this contest is VERY different!  I entered this one because it allows me to give all of you, my cherished readers, a discount on my print books!  So if you have been eying one of my books for a while, the month of November is a good time to buy.  Go to kimberleylinstruth-beckom.com for more details.

Flu Shots, Swine Flu, and Fibromyalgia: Should Pain Patients Get Vaccinated? - Chronic Pain - Health.com

Shared via AddThis

I thought I'd share this article that I came across about flu shots in Fibromyalgia sufferers. I am still debating whether or not to get the shot since I have not fared well for the past two years with one... We shall see.

Organics higher prices are a deterrent for some, but it really doesn't have to be.

Autumn thought her distaste for evil only went as far as slum lords, until her blood started boiling over a dream meeting.

This is a new short I've been working on that's in a contest Associated Content is running. It was supposed to be a screenplay for scriptfrenzy, but it turned into a short. Hope you all enjoy.

I've been neglecting posts here at myspace for a bit and I'm sorry about that.  I know some of you don't get a chance to read any of my other postings on other sites, however, I encourage you to read my last entry to Fibro and Fabulouswhich is entitled Defective Design.

It is a posting about how disgusted I am with people who would rather see a designer from Design Star on HGTV produce crappy work than see one perform decent despite having a disability.

I know these may seem like harsh words, but from what I had seen on the show, the one who should have left, didn't.  Tashica, the gal that was spared, seemed to think that duct tape would mend her rush job...  I wonder if she will use that next week when she drops a bottle of wine?

NataLee's "show was canceled" because she lacked stamina.  Now, I don't know about you, but I sure don't think that there are many people out there that can work a 14 hour shift without food or a break.  I know I can't.

I can sympathize with NataLee because all of her muscles ached after that long day and when she woke up from a night's rest, she said, "I feel like a truck hit me."  I live that everyday and I know what it's like and my heart goes out to this poor woman.  I'm not sure if she has chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia, but what she said just rings so true to what I go through.

I hope that all of my fibro readers get a chance to read about NataLee's story.  You all don't have to boycott HGTV like I am.  I'm just doing that because I can't condone the behavior of these judges this year.  I refuse to give a show an audience if they have a sheer and utter lack of respect to people who are conscientious.

Okay...stepping off the soap box now...

This story has to be told because it is just unbelievable that someone has to go through something like this.

I've been an advocate for organics for many years because of my research about Fibromyalgia. I've known since late 2005 that my body could tell the difference between real food and processed. Please read this article and you'll know why I think convenience and disposable are two words that need to be passe.
