In 24 hours the wait is over, I’m not even talking about the wait that some of you, you being close friends and “fans” (hate that word) have been waiting for. I’m talking about the wait we ITF has waited for, for over a year. A year of not knowing what was going to happen, a year of sweating, working and writing some of the best music ITF had EVER written. I know what you’re thinking, “yous are playn in a poxy quarry tomorrow”, but for ITF it’s reaping the fruits of our labour and it’s going to be a feast. We’ve been off the stage for a long time, it might take a few gigs to get us comfortable again but you can bet you f**kn ass we are going to BRING IT.

Also I’ll like to thank Kev aka Big Sexy, He has been in the ITF 1 full year now and tomorrow will be the first time he graces the stage with us. Thanks for sticking with us dude and believing in us, sometimes more than we believed in ourselves :)

Hope to see a lot of friendly faces tomorrow.
See you tomorrow, All the best…

Just in case you thought we were gone, We are so wrapping up the writing process in the next couple of weeks and we are for the first time in many years going to gig the SH!T outta the place. ITF has seen it's fair share drama and bullshit so with that behind, Let get this train rolling again. We have spent along time finding the right people, writing the best music from all styles and genres Rock, Metal, Jazz, Prog, Fusion, whatever, continually accessing ourselves professionally and personally to come up with something MASSIVE, IMPENETRABLE, INDESTRUCTIVE and always POSITIVE. We'll be the first to say this machine isn’t without it's flaws, but the facts that we know make this experience so worth all the hassle and garbage we have had. I for one can't wait to share this with everyone. This is a new ITF in everyway possible.
We can’t wait to see all our friends again around the country and we hope we live up to expectations and past triumphs and successes.

See you all in a little while ;)

Yo folks,

Jimmy here. While ITF has been writing the last few months,
I have been very busy working with Mark Hunt aka B Blunt
of US band Medication. We have just finished recording
9 songs with, get this, RAY MAYORGA (drummer from Stone Sour)
on 3 tracks.
It has been a surreal past 6 weeks,
but as of the weekend gone I am offically a member of
PAIN and PROGRESS.
Bases outta North Carolina USA it will involve me doin abit of traveling,
but it is totally worth it. It is a completely different sound to ITF,
Str8 Hard rock-metal-acoustic AWESOME.
This project will not effect ITF in any way
and we hope to be busting out gigs around the country this summer as often as we can. Some new ITF's tunes are coming...and fuck me are they bad-ass,ha.

But for the time being please add PAIN and PROGRESS
www.myspace.com/painandprogress
The songs are coming, but there's a video there featuring
producer Mike Jones to give you a taste of things to come.

Daring to live dreams,
Always a believer
and forever...

KEEP'n IT POSITIVE

PEACE

Ok, I wont rant to much, just put it simply.

ITF have waited along time to get things rite again and now that it's finally coming together for us and we are having so much fun for the first time in forever (not that we never had fun,ha) and the creative ITF juices are flowing, we decided to push forward the gigs into the new year. We are all working towards something very special and new for ITF. We do realise that some people have counted us out as lost causes, but from where we are standing nothing could be further from the truth. When we come back in the new year new you wont just hear it, you'll fuckn feel it,ha. We plan on making an impact and I for one cant wait.

Dec 6th gig is still goin ahead tho as part of TRIG Promotions series of gigs that are now up and running. TRIG PROMOTIONS is our new promotions company by the way, haha. You'll find it at www.myspace.com/trigpromotions and www.bebo.com/trigpromotions , check it, add it, love it, support it.
The 6th gig will be as follow's, Chemical Addiction from Kilkenny, Trig and Boo Gangsta rap superstars from Kilkenny and Hero In Error from Dublin.
We'll all be there, so say hello, Ask questions and buy me a b-day drink ye's bastards, Im old. haha

WE ARE SO BACK: NEW DRUMMER

Ok sports fans, or more precisely ITF fans, you heard it here first … WE ARE FUCKING BACK BABEY.

As of 2 weeks ago we were blessed  with the greatest gift ITF has ever got in the form of Kev Connelly aka Big Kev, already regarded as the best drummer ITF has ever had, we are proud to say he is officially the new stickman for us and we are more excited than ever. You thought you've seen us at our best??? In reality you haven't seen nothing yet.

The last couple of months have been very uncertain for us but for whatever reason its all coming together now. We are keeping our heads down and rehearsing like crazy, writing and revamping old songs giving them new life. With the entire back catalogue already finished we are currently writing new ITF tracks and if I do say so myself, its never been so much fun and easy to do with everyone in their comfort zones, the creative juice of ITF are flowing like never before.

The future, hmm, the future you say? Well I tell you one thing, the future is finally looking bright, always believing and keeping that positive mindset  that ITF so strongly enforces in everything we do is finally paying off. The times ahead are going to be hard but fun as fuck, with new songs, new attitude, recording and touring, getting involved with up and coming promotion companies, working with people that actually understand ITF's philosophy , no more bullshit, straight talking and fast walking … BRING IT THE FUCK ON.

There will be more news coming soon, so stay tuned … Same ITF time, Same ITF channel

Hey to all. I said I wouldn't mention anything until I knew it was for certain, but it is now.
As on last Tuesday ITCHY TRIGGER FINGER became official endorsee's of  CORT Guitars.
After much talking and meetings CORT representatives thought it a great idea to work with us by giving us
The endorsement. I can honestly say on behalf of everyone that we are delighted, come on, what not cool about getting free guitars, haha, and we would like to thank Frank and Fionnula of ESSANESS MUSIC Kilkenny and Walter Hennessey of CORT for their backing and support on the decision. So from now on we'll be busting out some serious fucking Guitars. For more info on CORT go to www.cortguitar.com or www.cort-guitars.co.uk

Right lets keep going…

So what know??? ITF will be keeping a very low profile for the next couple of months.
With the aim to return with something bigger, stronger and more captivating than before.
With a lot of awesome songs being written, projects lined up and finally settling back into a
Good positive atmosphere in ITF camp, everything looks to be going well for the first time in along time.

Last thing I would like to thank all the people that have sent us such awesome messages and comments on You-tube, myspace and bebo, its been said before, but it does mean so much and it definitely makes it feel work while.

For know we'll leave you and wish everyone the best…PEACE

Finger Diaries:
28th / 01/ 08

Yo everybody, Jimmy T here, hope all is well, this is my first "diary" entry as such, so forgive me, its been awhile since there has been a diary entry.
Well as of the 28th of  January there a few days ago, we were officially back in action.
With all the confusion over the last few months, finding suitable replacements, taking to long off, practically going insane, it definitely feels good to rock out again…So the story begins…

Early Saturday morning we arose to an absolutely deadly day, packed the car, collected James aka "the young lad, Junior, Jason Newstead, Gillian" the awesome drummer that is helping us out for the meantime (we'll see) met everyone back at my house, to be greeted with a look of confusion on Robbie's face…"I want to drive" he says now, ha, but I couldn't blame him it was a deadly day. Only problem was that was two cars. We would have taken one and let Robbie drive, but how does that saying go? How many clowns can you fit in a mini??? The answer, I don't know, but the answer to how many members of ITF can you fit in a mini is 2. We headed off in convoy anyway around 10:28am, great drive down (by-passes are awesome), stopped at the usual shop, then pulled into cork a mere hour and 45 minutes later, amazing…Then I get the call from Robbie and Pam, "well where are you? We are here", BASTARD, he was driving a fucking mini. So 45 minutes later when I found the venue, we unpacked, had a look at what was going on, had a chat to the lads from the freak house promo company there, got a set time, set up, but no goddamn sound check…grr, I hate that.
As usual before gigs Pam and Robbie headed off to prob some café somewhere to discuss life in all its wonder and listen to some jazz or something, while myself and the young lad ate sandwiches and drank coffee on the street like the bum's we are, ha. We return just in time for the band to start. It wasn't packed, but there was enough to fill the floor in attendance. Up first were Forbidden Sun which were missing a singer , I like these guys, there young and have drive, next were Last chance for a quick death from Dublin, metal core all the way, Cork natives Dead-night, death metal, then it was about that time…

It's a funny feeling when people don't actually know you personally, but have heard of you so much as I was told by mike one of the organisers, even on arrival people were very apprehensive to approach us, maybe I had to much eyeliner on? Anyway, we hopped up on the stage, took our sweet time setting up in front of a room full of people with curious faces, and so it begins…

"Hi, how you doing, we're bonjovi" I said, everybody laughed, the ice was broken and straight away people started to talk to us from the floor…This was James' first gig with ITF, I cant imagine how he was feeling as I said…"This Song is called GOD SAID…" q the drums. When that snare hit for the song to explode I felt and knew everything was going to be alright. Its was awesome, god said finished, the crowd applauded as to say, 'shit these guys aren't half bad'. Today we played the 'Wrong Side of Misery' EP, which was really cool, we broke into What have we done now, Measure of a man, and before Wrong side of misery I got everybody to scream "HAPPY FUCKING BIRTHDAY PAM", which was cool, then just as we were nearing the end I heard screams for Perfect Reality…who were we to disappoint, only this time this was the heaviest version you have ever heard of Perfect Reality, we re-worked it a little, ridicules guttural vocals and blast beats, it was awesome.
Stepping off the stage to what were once a crowd of people that were dare I say afraid (?) to approach us, we were greeted with handshakes, congratulations and conversation, with people buying t-shirts and Cds, Pam franticly looking for large t-shirts and the rest of us chatting about each other, ha. Even though the sound was shite, it was great at the same time, people got the point and idea I think.
So there was nothing to do, just catch a few of the headlining bands songs Obelisk, pack up and drive home.

So summarise the rest of the night, here goes, drive home, get lost, see every back road from cork to Kilkenny, shower, chicken curry egg fried rice, a few beers, chill with friends for Pam's birthday, come home late with everybody, drink a shit-load of coffee, stay up talking to everybody, be left sitting on my own in my sitting room at 5am thinking "what a great fucking day…Time for bed me thinks."

Peace.

Current mood:  artistic
Category: Music
We are currently writing, rehearsing and demo tracking new material, for both our live set and the studio. The songs are getting more technical, melodic and stimulating, as we try define the sound that is constantly changing and evolving.

Our music video for 'What have we done now' is in near completion, with additional pickup shots being added next week. As for our website http://www.itfrock.com; we apologize sincerely for the longer than necessary delay. The chief assures me that the wheels are in a forward motion. All we can do is hope at this stage!!

After a creative grace period additional musicians have been added to the 'Our Gem' song, which we will begin recording early next month. Once the recording is completed we will be looking for as many people as possible to feature in the video, which is being directed by oss237. More details will be posted on our website.

Also the tracks that have recently been made available for download, are revised mixes and do not feature on the cd. The artwork, along with a digital download of these mixes, will be released on the website.
