[News] Ladies Night; Wrestling training for women | 20 Jun 2009 In
our continuing dedcation to develop a strong women's division in
Scottish wrestling, SWA's training facility, Area 52, is bringing in a
weekly session just for the girls! Spearheaded by SWA's most
successful female graduate, Nikki Storm, 52's Ladies Night will give
female trainees, talent and newcomers to train together in a
womens-only environment. Continue... [Spandex] Xavier is Redeemed | 20 Jun 2009I
took part in a fundraiser today at Bishopton Gala Day in, well,
Bishopton. It's a weird little show. Put a ring in a tent, throw some
talent into a restricted area and put on a free show in front of the
crowd and people walk around with buckets and stuff to get money. It's
the fourth show we've done and the third I've been on as I couldn't
make last years. I defeated the Djinn on the first show then later... Continue... [Watcher] The Wrestler | 18 Jun 2009At
the screening there was me and three others on assignment from whoever
sent them and it felt as if I was the only one who got what the movie
was about. Sure, they laughed at all the right places but the two gents
sitting at the back didn't get why anyone would wrestle while watching
this film. To be honest, a part of me doesn't blame them as I was
having the same thought. Granted, I'm not going to have the... Continue... [Spandex] Star of the Moment: Majik I Fan Access 11 Preview | 17 Jun 2009I
met him in person before my debut and he was a great guy. Friendly,
happy to help and over the years I've trained with him, shared a few
drinks with him and will always speak highly of him. Even when I fought
him in September my mind wasn't set on thoughts of anger or hatred. I
was proud to be in the ring with him and I wanted to prove to him my
worth. Whether I did it or not is another matter, all that's been on my
mind since Canyon decided to... Continue..

On
Sunday I showed up to a charity gig at Pro Life in Paisley. It was an
odd affair, I didn't see any of the usual passing around of buckets
like the normal fundraisers I've done nor did I know what the charity
was. But, I did enjoy an hour or so as a guest MC looking nice and
professional in my camo's and Joker t-shirt. Not a Heath shirt, by the
way. HAHAHA for the win. The Joker shirt resulted in kids asking me if that was... Continue... [Watcher] Serenity | 12 Jun 2009The
problem I have with any Joss Whedon production is Joss Whedon. The man
himself. Maybe he's quite lovely, has a pet dog called Daisy and like
to dance around to Abba in his pants like a cheerful gent. But that
doesn't change the fact that he's a complete and utter self important
cocktard. Let's face it. His biggest fan is Joss Whedon. I can't see
him promote a new show or venture without a smug grin on his face and... Continue..

[Watcher] Hedwig & The Angry Inch | 22 May 2009 Where
do I begin with a film like Hedwig? I could talk about it's content
regarding sexual and gender identity, use a Hansel & Gretel
analogy, the mythology content in songs such as Origin of love which
channels Plato, the fantastic music and obvious love for David Bowie or
any of the other dozen and a half things that come from John Cameron
Mitchell's off Broadway play turned feature film. At it's simplest this is the story of Hedwig and her ongoing feud with...

[Workshop] The Ballad of Perry Satullo | 19 May 2009
This was posted up here ages ago before the server crash wiped everything and in the mood to update, I'm putting it back online. The
story behind this was that I was bored and throwing up ideas
everywhere. It was a short little thing to see if I could still write.
Testing myself. I'm not sure if I failed or not, but a few people
seemed to enjoy it so I put it up here. The surprising thing is that this little thing...
