Jamiroquai are confirmed to play a gig at the Malaysian Grand Prix on April 5th. They will play a full gig at the Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur. More details to follow, including a competition to win guest list passes.

Hi everyone
Well, it feels like summer in the UK doesn't want to start but I'm glad to say that hasn't stopped us enjoying the sunshine at many superb festivals around Europe. The next show is in Budapest which we're all hugely looking forward to. My sincere thanks to everyone who has seen one of the shows and posted such positive comments on the Party People forum - we haven't played any new material but instead decided to re-work some of the older stuff which seems to have gone down well - at least from where I was standing. And I also have to thank everyone for congratulating me on my Top Gear triumph! It felt good to knock Mr Cowell off the top spot!! Well, you wouldn't expect anything less would you??

Jay beat Simon Cowell yesterday (by 0.1 of a second with a lap time of 1 minute, 45.8 seconds) to top the leaderboard on the BBC's Top Gear. If you're in the UK you can watch the episode on the BBC iPlayer, Jay appears about 25 minutes in. Congratulations Jay!

Jay will appear on the BBC motoring TV show, Top Gear, this Sunday 27th July. Each week, a famous person is invited to complete a timed lap around the same test track and become a "star in a reasonably priced car". The car used by each participant is a Chevrolet Lacetti. Simon Cowell has been at the top of the leaderboard, with a lap time of 1.45.9, since he took part in November. The hour-long show will be broadcast from 20.00 on BBC2. For more info visit the Top Gear website. For UK based fans, the show should be available to watch on the BBC iPlayer until 3rd August.

As you may have read, fashion icons Oakley have launched a special edition pair of Jamiroquai sunglasses which come pre-loaded with two exclusive remixes from the band's debut album - Emergency On Planet Earth.

They're called "Oakley 'JK15' Split Thump" sunglasses. The collaboration marks 15 years since the release of E.o.P.E. and the sunglasses will feature an integrated MP3 player with 1GB memory, hidden controls and removable earphones.

Needless to say, they're ultra-exclusive with only 250 available in the world and we have 15 pairs available in the Jamiroquai Official Store.
