Category: Romance and Relationships
really, this shouldn't be placed under the "romance and relationships" category unless the romance was dead and the relationships, primal and carnal... with a heavy dose of sluttiness, i s'pose.
this is the result of tea-induced insomnia and the aimless online wanderings that accompany it: hookupmaps.com (i assure you, my relationship is fine and this wasn't the result of THAT kind of online wandering) so, it appears that google maps has hooked up (pun totally intended) with craigslists' "casual encounters" to provide people with a convenient map of .... services. which, in this day and age, i suppose is quite a smart and sexually liberating thing. if a girl or guy simply needs to feed their netherbeasts, they now have an online yellowpages of locations where such services can be provided. its like typing in pizza when you want to google map the nearnest pizza hut.
hm....lol. leave it to google

for one reason or another i found myself just now in the online moma (museum of modern art) store and.... oh dear god. the damage i could do if left in there with my credit cards. but its totally awesome.
at a loss of what to give on any given birthday/anniversary/funerary event? how about a....
set of porcelain crumpled cups?
pair of collapsable cardboard speakers?
a rediculously pretty garland shade light?
or perhaps..
a BEAUTIFUL forget-me-not ring?
this place rivals ikea for the "insanely cool/pretty but functional" title.*
*ikea style pricing not included. this place gets steep...

dumbest, yet most logical, thinking ever. lmao. ----------------------------------------------------------------------
151227 +(7799)- [X] IronChef Foicite: well, there's a lot of reasons IronChef Foicite: i mean, roses only last like a couple weeks IronChef Foicite: and that's if you leave them in water IronChef Foicite: and they really only exist to be pretty IronChef Foicite: so that's like saying IronChef Foicite: "my love for you is transitory and based solely on your appearance" IronChef Foicite: but a potato! IronChef Foicite: potatos last for fucking ever, man IronChef Foicite: in fact, not only will they not rot, they actually grow shit even if you just leave them in the sack IronChef Foicite: that part alone makes it a good symbol IronChef Foicite: but there's more! IronChef Foicite: there are so many ways to enjoy a potato! you can even make a battery with it! IronChef Foicite: and that's like saying "i have many ways in which I show my love for you" IronChef Foicite: and potatos may be ugly, but they're still awesome IronChef Foicite: so that's like saying "it doesn't matter at all what you look like, I'll still love you"

living in the states has given me smthg: its made me EXTREMELY patriotic. so HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA in celebration, here are a few of my favorite molson ads:
and.... THE ad . the one that every cdn has, at one time or another, memorized and fist-raised-fervour-eyed-drunkenly recited while clutching a molson.

dawn has yet to occur and my day's potential is already satisfied.
ive discovered and dwnlded 7 songs. (9 if only 2 werent so elusive) pat myself on the back and..... im going to sleep smug and self content. (that, and i got to talk to chris tonight where we thoughtfully discussed the best way to die. C02 cos its painless for her, and cyanide capsule cos its oh-so-glamourously spy/ninja-like for me)

happy chinese new years!!!
aka. the day where all the chinese women you know inexplicably gain 10lbs from the eating of unhealthy quantities of dumplings, deep fried gooey sweet stuff, crispy duck wraps and that shit that looks (and tastes) like thinning hair. That is if, of course, they didnt choke on a coin during their first round of dumplings.
so for those who did NOT die via a quarter in the trachea this wkend: happy chinese new year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ps. i learned how to play mahjong!! and it seems to me that this would be one of those games that would be better played w/ a drink in one's hand..

all previous attempts do not count as i cheated profusely within mere hours of starting.

i havent touched a fashion magazine or gone onto style.com to look at all the shows for half a year and already im completely and utterly lost. entirely new crops of brilliant designers and miserably glamourous models have popped up, and already stam and daria are old hat (though daria still reigns over them ALL, but jesus, stam looks like crap this season).
i have found for myself the very first thing i can honestly say i desperately, yearningly DESIRE for my 2007 "never gonna happen" wishlist :
... perfection.
and yeah, see? she looks like shit. a difficult feat after being worked on by the best MUA (MakeUpArtists) with the best brushes usin the best products. she needs to take a season off.
oh. and Preen. despite some completely unwearable tulip skirts this season, still my newest favorite thing. EVERYONE must see their spring 06 stuff. i fantasized about the entire collection, even some of the menswear, for months after i saw it last yr.
sorry for those completely uninterested in all this who logged on hoping for some angst or witticism. you'll just have to settle for my moronic enthusiasm over a completely trivial, shallow, and utterly lovely thing called fashion.

i got straight A's in all 4 of my classes (5 if u count this stupidly easy one i had to take. but im not).
im blogging about this because, this is a milestone for me, educationally, in a path that has been previously littered w/ unfinished papers, unattended classes, and a multitude of sighs from all my teachers as they watch my marks inevitably slide into nothingness as the term progresses.
so. yah me.

k, i was reading one of those questionaire things that a friend has posted and filled out, cos if its interesting enough, then id consider filling it out too. this one was not interesting, 'cept for this question:
If you were put in a room with nothing except for a pencil and paper, what would you do?
upon which i immediately thought: write " i look like im sleeping but im really dead " on the paper, tape it to my forehead (unless theres no tape, then id just prop it against me), and go to sleep.
a moment of self reflection occurred right about then. and then i realized that that's an odd response.

apparently ive decided the latter.
1: lonngg homework assignment, which involves me traipsing all over the NASA website looking for answers like its a game of informational hide and seek. 3: final exams (2 of which are ,horrendeously, cumulative), upon which the goal of my getting at least a 3.5 gpa, and perhaps a much needed scholarship, is hinged. 10: planets and moons i need to pretend i give a shit about. 800: years worth of western history i need to get myself aquainted with. all due/taking place early nxt wk.
and what do i find myself doing as the first act of the weekend? catching up w/ friends? no. drinking? no. studying? pff.. lol.. no.
i am standing over a hair filled sink in the bathroom because ive had yet another one of my scissor itching moments, horrified by the initial outcome of once again giving in to such impulses.
i dont think i should be allowed near scissors.
