Current mood:active
I've put some new stuff on the music player

It comes from various places

I'll be changing it around too...no, I mean it this time

Some is live from the soundboard, some is from a camera, some was made in my conservatory using one mic and a ten year old pc

We've a few gigs coming up so buzz along if you're feeling it

We've been recording some music which will be appropriate in exactly 3 weeks

We now exist in yet another place on the internet

I think it's jeromeslaw.wordpress.com

Adam's still trying to get his head around how it works

We've been swapping around instruments a bit in practice

Sometimes it's fun to have no idea what you're doing

Does anyone else like bullet points or is it just me?

Current mood:  satisfied
...to all who came to see us last night, we had a great time.

The names of the songs played were, in roughly the right order, as follows

Spinning Top (is that what it's called Ronan?)
Open Eyes
Melancholy Minor Chord
Yesterday's Dream
Just Don't Ask
Albedo
Don't Think Of The Day
Smiles and Secrets
Drop The Act
Fight In The Dark
Say The Word

You can find some things at http://twitter.com/Jeromeslaw if you're into that kind of thing

Current mood:  anxious
...just to let you know we still exist style blog posts.

Well we do.

It's been AGES since we've played out in public.

BUT

We've a new face playing drums and we're going to play a gig next week.

But it's super top secret.

We've had to learn all our songs again which at first kind of feels like being in a cover band of your own band. Weird

We've been playing a new one but we don't know whether to rock it or to just chill. Hmm

I've said to much

Current mood:  optimistic

And big news it is

But not so good

Unfortunately we've parted ways with our drummer Donal. He was (and still is) a top notch guy and great.drummer and will be missed.

All this means.. we're searching for a new drummer so if anyone's is interested or knows anyone who may be interested then give us a shout...

Other than that things are looking pretty good for us. '09 could be a big one..........I've already said too much

I've been working steadily on albums three and four..........wait, we still have to do album one.....Damn

Current mood:  sneaky
We still very much exist

Doing some undercover work

Planning, planning, planning

And hopefully some doing too

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Boom Boom Room gig

We thought it went well

We currently have more songs than we know what to do with

The debut triple album is becoming less and less of a joke

It's a joke we have, by the way

All for now

We'll be putting on our own gig in the Boom Boom Room on Friday August 1st. It's promising to be a great night with a class line up. Joining us on the night are Ana Gog and Cocophone. Both these bands are seriously class and all this will only cost you a fiver. Doors are 9pm. This is the first time we've doen something like this so we want to make it as memorible as possible.

Also, we spent Saturday in the recording studio doing some more work on the tracks we recently put down. Despite a minor night club incident which left our drummer out of action we soldiered on and got loads done....he's still alive in case you're wondering. Now we just have to figure out what to do with all this music we have.

We've been reviewed a little bit recently, one in hotpress and the other on Irishunsigned.com

Current mood:  pirate
Yesterday we travelled to Ashtown Studios in an attempt to lay down all those old tracks that have been floating about all these years. And some new ones. A fabulous time was had by all and we somehow managed to record 13 songs in under 8 hours. We're not yet sure if the title, as above, is ironic. We're fairly sure it is though. We're ironic kind of guys.

As Follows:

Smiles and Secrets
Waves
Spy in the House of Fun
Just Don't Ask
Sleeping (Bag)
Say The Word
Let It Go
Warsaw
Lucky No. 3
I Never Loved You
Melancholoy Minor Chord
Safe
Simple As It Seems

Sure enough, if you come to any of the gigs you can avail yourself of a free copy of our seminal work. Have a good day.
