Hey guys!
Thanks so much for all of your messages. They're always so sweet. I have been working hard on a few new projects that I think you guys will hopefully love. I am really trying to push myself beyond my comfort zone. Will come back soon and post more details...
In the meantime, I've been getting a few questions from you about twitter. Honor keeps me a little too busy to tweet right now, but Cash signed up and is quite addicted...lol. Follow him at twitter.com/cash_warren.
Also, we had the pleasure of hosting my new little buddy Ryan Higa at our house a couple weeks ago. He is a sweetheart and so humble. He just posted a new quiz on his myspace page and I missed a few. Think you can do better?
Wish I could do a longer update but I have to run. Before I go here is a link to a hilarious Best Mullet competition going on at ibeatyou.com...
Love, Jess

Hey Guys, Jay_eh here. I wanted to share with everyone in the ibeatyou and MySpace communities my experiences at the inauguration last week, so I put together a little video. Before I get to the video, I want to clear some things up that have been bothering me lately. I find it depressing that in the midst of perhaps the most salient time in our country's history, individuals are taking it upon themselves to encourage negativity and stupidity. Last week, Mr. Bill O'Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people...it's so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland. Check out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden_during_World_War_II if you want to see what I was referring to. I appreciate the name calling and the accurate reporting. Keep it up!! Now on to more important things...like our new President. Click here to watch my inauguration video and read the rest of my blog. (http://www.ibeatyou.com/jessicaalba) Best, JA

Hey guys, I wanted to check in to tell you about a trip I took recently to Denver for the Democratic National Convention. In two words: eye-opening. You see, traditionally I haven't been that politically active but for a variety of reasons I find myself being compelled to participate in this years election. Irrespective of your political affiliation you have to acknowledge the historical relevance of this years race...on both sides. A few months ago I was asked to participate in an online viral video for Barack Obama and I jumped at the opportunity. More recently, I have become a spokesperson for Declare Yourself. It is a bi-partisan group that not only helps educate you on the political process but also makes registering to vote incredibly easy. This group is particularly meaningful to me because it is purely about people being active. At the end of the day I want what's best for this country and an active youth ensures a brighter future. Keep your eyes open for the new campaign. Go to declareyourself.org for more information. At the DNC, Cash and I were fortunate enough to see President Clinton speak as well as Biden and Obama. I have been blessed to witness almost every sports and entertainment event but nothing compares to what took place on Invesco Field. The energy was palpable and the crowd was infused with the hope. On a more humorous side, I have never seen the stars and stripes used as a fashion print/accessory so liberally. Some makeover reality show producer needs to hop on a plane for Minneapolis asap because I am sure the outfits at the RNC will be just as patriotic or as Christian would say "fierce." Lol! Here is one of my favs. Lastly, I'm starting a fun competition on ibeatyou.com's new Myspace application In homage to the upcoming election… upload a picture of yourself being patriotic. I just uploaded my entry from the DNC. Take care, Jay_eh

Hey everyone! I wanted to write a quick note to see how everyone is doing. It's been a while since I checked in but know that I read your messages and really appreciate them...well most of them. Everyone in the family is doing great. I don't know about you all but Cash and I have been glued to the Olympics. How amazing was the opening ceremony?!? I still don't know how they coordinated 2008 people to move in perfect sync. The mens 400M relay was insane. We were down by almost a half body length going into the final turn and then next thing you knew it was closer, closer, closer until we touched the wall first! Cash and I went crazy. The shot of Michael Phelps after the race ended cheering with his teammates is so memorable. The last time I got this excited watching sports was when Baron was in the NBA playoffs. Next year we get to watch him in Los Angeles. Go Clippers!! ;) Well if you aren't in the best shape of your life and training every day to make the next Olympics I highly recommend checking out the IBY Living Room Olympics. Honestly, my friends Air Synchronized Swimming performance is legendary and Chad showed he can do more than just type 90 words/min with this nerf dunk. Despite taking some time off I am still in the top100 on the site...beat that!! I will be back next week to talk about going to the Alma's. Take care, Jay_eh

Hey guys, checking back in to see how everyone's doing. I can't tell you how much your notes have meant to me over the last few months. Sorry I don't get a chance to write back to each and every one of you. The last month I've been getting the house prepped for the new arrival and spending quality time with our families. It's been wonderful having this quiet time. June's just around the corner and I'm so excited for my new movie with Mike Myers, The Love Guru, which comes out on the 20th. I hope you guys think it's as funny as I do…I really had a great time making it with Mike and the rest of the amazing cast. Speaking of The Love Guru, I wanted to do something unique for my fans and I came up with a fun competition where one of you can win my personal tickets to the premiere of the movie on June 11th. I teamed up with the folks at ibeatyou.com to host the competition. Check out my video below which has some of the details and enter at ibeatyou. Look forward to seeing your vids. Take Care, Jay_Eh

Been playing a lot of board games lately…apples to apples is a new favorite of mine. I know super cool right J
I went out for the first time in a LONNNG while this Saturday. Cash threw our close friend Baron Davis a surprise birthday party. Baron was clearly surprised as his bday is a month away…Lol! Anyone else been forced to watch college basketball nonstop lately? Cash manages to have it on every TV in our house 24/7.
Be well guys and check out our music video…hope you get a good laugh. JA aka Jay_eh

Hey guys, I am now in Europe promoting to "the eye." LAST TRIP!!! Went to the Lanvin show and the Rodin museum in Paris...amazing. Also saw Amy Whinehouse perform. She has such an incredible voice. She's definitely a throwback...reminiscent of Ella. I am currently getting my makeup done to go to the premiere of my movie. Can't wait to get home and rest. Every day I have eaten ham and cheese sandwiches, I cant get enough of them. Wish they had these back in the states, the bread is amazing. My tummy is getting bigger by the second and the little one must like the food too because it is moving and kicking like crazy. ITS THE BEST. Have to go but just wanted to check in. JA PS- Oh yeah, a lot of people have been asking me for the link to ibeatyou...well here it is. ibeatyou.com Be warned, the site is addictive. Once you join you can be my friend of foe depending on whether you think you can beat me in anything. It's still private and this invite has a limited number so sign up while you can.

Current mood: blissful
HI EVERYONE SO I'VE BEEN ABSENT BECAUSE A. I'VE BEEN PRETTY BUSY. B. TERRIBLE EXCUSE WHO ISN'T BUSY. C. REAL REASON, I'VE BEEN OBSESSED WITH THIS NEW SITE CALLED IBEATYOU. IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS I'M GOING TO POST A PRIVATE INVITE TO MY MYSPACE FRIENDS. SERIOUSLY IT'S BEEN WARPING MY BRAIN. IT'S A WEBSITE THAT REVOLVES AROUND COMPETITIONS OF EVERY KIND. I'M A COMPETITIVE PERSON BY NATURE SO THE FACT THAT I'M PRACTICALLY DREAMING ABOUT SOME OF THESE COMPS IS TO BE EXPECTED.... SOMEWHAT. LOL. I PRESENTED LAST NIGHT AT THE OSCARS IT WAS A PRETTY GREAT NIGHT. I LOVE JOHN STEWART THE DAILY SHOW IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS HANDS DOWN. I WAS ROOTING FOR JAVIER BARDEM, DIABLO CODY AND MARION COTILLARD SO HAPPY FOR THEM ALL. MEETING LIL MISS ELLEN PAGE WAS A HIGHLIGHT, JUNO WAS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I'VE SEEN. AN INSTANT CLASSIC AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, GREAT WRITING AND A GREAT CAST. ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT WAS THE FACT THAT I DIDN'T MESS UP MY LINES OR TRIP ON MY DRESS (ON STAGE). I DID HAVE A STUMBLE BACKSTAGE OUTSIDE OF THE GREEN ROOM. CASH CAUGHT ONE ARM THE OTHER HIT THE FLOOR. LUCKILY ALL THE PHOTOGS WERE TAKING PICS OF CAMERON D. LOOKING GORGEOUS IN PINK I MIGHT ADD. ANOTHER HIGHLIGHT OF LAST NIGHT WAS INSTEAD OF HITTING UP THE GOVERNORS BALL OR ANY OTHER PARTY, WE OPTED FOR SWEATS AND IN 'N' OUT BURGERS. BEING PREGGERS KIND OF TAKES THE FUN OUT OF PARTYING UNTIL THE WEE HOURS. SLEEP ALWAYS SOUNDS SO MUCH BETTER THESE DAYS. WELL CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IF YOU ALL GET AS HOOKED ON IBEATYOU AS I AM. IT'S NOT PUBLIC YET SO THIS IS KIND OF A MEMBERS ONLY SITUATION. I'LL BE BACK IN A FEW DAYS TO POST THE LINK. UNTIL THEN LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST PUT OUT ALL THE LOVE INTO THE WORLD YOU WANT IN RETURN. I DO READ YOUR POSTS SO PLEASE CONTINUE TO WRITE. IT'S JUST TOUGH TO RESPOND TO SO MANY AMAZINGLY INSIGHTFUL, THOUGHTFUL PEOPLE. PEACE AND LOVE~JAY_EH
