Hello I have to rant for a second. I have been studying for hours and I got thirsty so I bought some diet coke. I am having the biggest sugar rush and now I cant studying because I have the shakes, my heart is beating out of my chest and my eyes are moving so quick I can barely write this email. I promise I am not on the drug coke but I bet this is the kind of high they get. I feel like I could run a marathon but its so cold that I cant even take a walk around uni. Any ways I am not going to ever drink Coke unless I need a sugar rush from hell. I cant even finish this thought because I cant concentrate due to massive shaking. Coke is not my friend

Hello how are you all doing? It has taken me ages to finally send you pictures of my crazy time Thailand and Vietnam. Both countries where comply mad and for different reasons. Vietnam was covered with motoscooter or motobikes and the fun was trying to walk across the street while the scooters zoom passed you. Imagine the busiest street filled with cars well I had to walk through that but with motoscooters and nobody is stopping its go and dont stop till you get to the other side. If you run you may get hit if you are too slow they hunk. So for someone who like to walk and not pay attention to anything on the road I found it a bit difficult yet really entertaining to see which of my friends could cross the street the fastest. My lovely group member (I went as part of my course for Uni but I still had to pay for it) was really keen on eating local foods and she kept on advising me to try all different foods. So I tried snail, some bug that walks on walls (the VN eat anything moving), and other things that I cant describe cause I dont know what it was but it was good. My favorite was Foo soup with noodle and beef and string beans but no matter where you ate or how good the place was the restroom was your best friend. All I have to say is not matter how good the food was, the restroom played a crucial part of Vietnam. ... The Vietnamese are very proud nation and have learned not to hate America because of the Vietnam War (in VN they call it American War). Infact they look up to the west to help build the country so they can be top business in Asia. (I have written 15 pages for my report alone on this subject so I will stop here). I found it to be really interesting how much time people in families would spend with each other. The mothers would make sure the kids would learn their homework. Infact when I was walking with my professors this 5 year old very cute kid was learning English and she was so happy to practice her English with us. Both parents where very attentive to the kids much more so then in western cultures and the kids where so respectful to their parents by listening to them and not talking too loudly.

I am happy to think that I made it through all the craziness of people ripping you off and hackling for the right price for food or clothes. Luckily enough the only thing that happened to me was I hit the exhaust pipe on a moped so there is one scar from Vietnam.

I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you enjoy the pictures of Vietnam.

Yeah I have more to tell. As for Thailand which is the shopping mecka of the world which was nuts in a totally different way then Vietnam. There was so many people and cars that it made NYC look empty. The humidity was so hot that you take a shower walk outside and you are dry. AC (air-condition) in this country is a must omg is was so darn hot. It was tough walking along the streets cause of how hot it was and trying not to faint and drink plenty of water. I did get to do some shopping and sightseeing but I was planning on doing all that after my week of uni work was over. But I did get to see the palace which was absolutely beautiful and there are a lot of pictures of that. I thought it was interesting how the palace was a sacred place and the locals would go there to pray as the tourist snap away with their cameras. I found the Thai hospitality over the top friendly, they always had a smile on their face-what lovely people they are. From a cultural point of view I thought it was really interesting how Thai people greet people, they put their hands together and bow to you kind like they do in Japan but different (same, same but different- asian way or same thing different story-american way). For example you put hands on your nose and bow to an older person, put your hands on your chin for a younger person. I tried to say hello and thank you in thai but I didnt do the hand thing cause I wasnt sure how to do it and I didnt want to be rude. You all should now I have to be one of the rudest people but I have learned to say please, thank, some patience, and not to be so rude. Infact one friend said to me you seem to be more relazed. Anyways I can write a whole email on just the changes that I have been through.

I found the Thai men (especially the police men in their tight uniform) to be much better looking then the Vietnamese men but the Vietnam women to be prettier then Thai women. I think its cost Thai women eat fast food and they are more westernized. I must say which is so embarrassing but when my uni group and I saw Mc Donalds we where jumping up and down for joy because it was something western and we new that we could eat something and not have to rush to the toilet. ..haha lol. I absolutely love Thailand its such a great place unfortunately I didnt get to see enough of the place. My favorite bit was the first say of my actual vacation after working with uni for 2 weeks I go to the jungle way up North past Chang Mia and stayed in a hut that was in the trees next to a river. It was so lovely and my friend Jen and I sat there for a couple of hours relaxing. We rented scooters and we practiced before we zoomed off into the hills. My favorite bit was finding elephants on the side of the road and feeding them. In one of my pic you will see a guy walking with his elephant it was so cute and for that everything else bad that happened to me in Thailand is forgiving.

I fell off my scooter in the middle of the jungle and all I can remember is there where 15 people on the side of the road-nothing there and this guy dressed in orange maybe a Buddhist standing there overlooking at me. It was very bizarre and all I kept on thinking was, Wow there is a Buddhist dude and I cant talk to him right now but what the heck are you doing on the side of the road and why is there 15 people around me. Anyways that Buddhist man being there made it a special fall that I will never forget.

Just when you think I am done here is the last one. Ok I promise this is the last email and you wont need to hear from me for a while. I am still in pain from my accident in Thailand, it turns out that my arm is still infected 4 weeks later, I have a bad sprain where I torn ligaments but I dont need surgery and both my shoulder and ribs hurt. BUTTT I will get better cause I am going to physio this sat and next week I will got to acupuncture (thank goodness my insurance pays for half).

I have started uni again and I have decided to finish on time, no need to delay myself form graduating. I am going to apply for permanent visa here and I hope I get it. I am sorry to my American friends but I just love it here so much. I was taking 5 classes but I thought that was nuts so I dropped one class and I just wont have a great summer. Atleast I will have time to focus on my other work and get good grades cause last semester was adequate but not good enough for me. I also want to enjoy my time in Sydney, I am not saying go out every night and party but once or twice a month. I went to a rugby union game AU versus South Africa and Australia won. The game was awesome and I am sto glad I had a chance to go with some mate though the game went by way too quickly. I also would have liked to sit much closer to the field to see how big the men are but thats alright maybe I will go again in the future. The pictures link is in the this email underneath my name.

I dont know what happened but this semester at uni there are so many hot hot hot men. I thought I would have 2 years of just looking at Asian and Indian men but not this semester, I dont now where they came from but there are some really cute guys. I have a crush on this guy in my class but really I am too shy to talk to him. I highly enjoy studying at uni because when you stop for a second from studying and look up there are some really cute guys. Its a great motivation to come to school, look good, and study. Ahh I have a feeling this semester is going to be great. J I have had some bad times already like my memory stick not working, my computer breaking and needing to but another one, and the best my phone with all my friends numbers are gone.

I have a new flat which is sooooooooo adorable and my flatmates are really cool. All the girls including my friends fancy the bloke I am living with which is always a laugh. The only bad thing about my flat is I cant get out of the front door and I missed work today because I am stuck in my house but I love it here. My flatmate has to come home to let me out, I do feel trapped like animal in a cage but its all good cause I have my books to study. I have a large room with a patio so come and visit me cause I have plenty of room and space. I live in Surry Hills on a quiet street where you can hear the birds chirping away yet its near the centre of the city and I always walk to work or uni because 5 out 7 days in Sydney is bright, sunny, and beautiful. I try to also get out and go to the beach once a month because its relaxing and its 30 min bus ride away.
