Well its been a long time since I put a post up, sorry about that, we have been swamped here. I finally had a chance to take some new photos of our gear and update this on the website. There are new photos for our entire current pedal lineup.
You may have heard we are going to discontinue the Ultra Drive by now, well we are now "considering it" since we have seen a rash of orders even before we announced this. Presently its production as normal, we will feel this out over the next 2-3 months and make a financial decision at that time.
R&D - Well we've been working to make our current line up better and better but I dont feel we will have any substancial changes until closer to 2008. We dont make changes just to change things, we do so make our Engineering, quality and formost TONE better. With all this comes A LOT of testing to make sure the changes are sound (no pun intended) and really are the correct thing to do.
Keep checking here for updates, I'll try to get more time to post, hang in there.

- Presently we are working on a triple input passive preamp setup, unit will have 3 inputs and 2 output, outputs will be for subwoofer and main audio amp. Price will be sub $600. We hope to reduce the price further if sales estimates look good. Presently we are searching for other OEMS who would like to colaborate on this venture and we hope to offer some sort of "package" deal having a custom high value hifi setup at the lowest cost possible....email us if you have questions....

We are working on a HIFI passive preamp project..... Our objective here is to offer an AFFORDABLE HIFI passive preamp to the public. To offer a unit that until now was only available at about double what we are going to charge. Look for these to be around $300 when all is said and done....Here is a shot of one of the R&D units in pieces.... More on this soon.....email us at: sales@jeverman.com if you would like updates as we move forward. J.

This week we have been working on entering the world of HIFI....it appears there is some market for a low cost hifi passive preamp. Several customers have contacted us lately regarding this very topic so we've been doing our homework and should be able to offer the public something very soon. Look to this forum for more information and photos as the work continues...
Imagine a passive hifi preamp with stepped attenuator and all the perks for around $300, thats about $300 less than its closest competitor.
Stay tuned.

- Another day passes, more orders, more R&D, still no snow here in TX. That about sums it up....oh and we were looking into getting some promotional T-shirts made up here locally. Odd that most of the local vendors we have talked to have shirts priced at about 1/2 the cost of internet based companies. This is typically not the case for most any other product, I guess promotional t-shirts are the exception.....

We are working with a local vendor to explore different pedal coatings that are classy and still can hold up to abuse...we were looking at black anodization but there are some problems with the black leaching out due to heat and UV exposure over time, since we like to build our gear to last, I dont want something that looks an off color a few years down the road. That wont do....back to the drawing board.
We like Black Gloss Coatings but they are not as robust and scratch easier so the search continues....
Today our email system went down, IT is working on a fix but we do not have access to anyones emails, if your reading this we will get back to you ASAP when the system is going. I get hourly updates so we will promply answer and fill all orders as soon as we are back getting our mail. I believe we should have a fix tomorrow......
Got to update the website but havent found the time, staff here is low due to funding so I build more than I would like, rather do R&D than production work...people want to see new stuff and I want to give them what they want.
Anyhow its getting late here so I must sign off......

So whats going on....its Wednesday the 17th, work slowed here in TX today due to the icy roads. Shipments were delayed a bit but everything went out to customers as expected.
We have been posting a few auctions on ebay lately for advertising purposes, check them out under user name "jeverman". We have super discounts for sales reasons and exposure. This will not last for long so if you need something you better get it while its there.
Working with a customer now on a MICROPOT that we might market, its basically a volume control that clips onto your guitar strap, useful for Piezo pickups on acoustic guitars with no control on their own....keep looking here for more info.

I full redesign again is in order a totally new design is now on the drawing board......where will it go from there....stay tuned.
We worked on a new LOW FI FILTER layout today for the 2007 version of the unit, its going to a 3 knob version right now and we will add an internal 6 DIP switch selector to set it up any way you like.....
