For anyone that doesn't know me I usually have 3 Thanksgivings & 3 Christmas Dinners.

Thanksgiving 1 is at a Family Friend's place the Sunday before Thanksgiving week. ( They always have the best cooking).

Thanksgiving 2 (On Thanksgiving Day) is with my family.

Usually a 1½ hr trip between the two.

Thanksgiving 3 (On Thanksgiving Day) is at my fiancé's family.

By Thanksgiving 3 I usually don't eat Thanksgiving turkey.

For Thanksgiving 2 was the Bojangles Turkey.

I was a little surprised to see that it came "factory sealed"

Even though  Bojangles is a regional Fast Food Chain, Thanksgiving 1's Fried Turkey was a lot better. I guesss I am just not use to the seasoning that they use. It left a salty after taste in my mouth. It was still better to me then the traditional oven roasted.

So out of 5 stars I would give the Bojangles Turkey 2 ¾ stars. Probably worth the try but at someone else's house (or dollar)

Hope everyone had a good one.

This year Bojangles is catering my Thanksgiving with their "Seasoned Fried Turkey".

Here is a picture of what it should look like:

For $37.35 for a 10 - 13 lbs Turkey you can't go wrong. I was informed from on-line that Popeyes does something similar. Usually it take 48 hrs to place the order so don't delay.

Stay tuned for the post game meal wrap up and pictures later.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving ! ! !

Ok when last we left off :

• The Orlando Magic were stinking it up ( somethings never change )
• UNC was doing great in basketball
• I was starting my 2nd Term at ECPI
• And Miami still had Nick Saban as a Head Coach

Now for the dramatic conclusion that was my January. . . .

See Ya Nick Saban ! ! !

Jan 3rd
Nick Saban was announced to be leaving the Dolphins for Alabama Crimson Tide. At first I was mad, then I thought of what all he had done for the Dolphins ( which wasn't much with a 15-17 record in 2 years ). I did like how he handled the press but other then that he wasn't showing much promise and probably will end up like Steve Spurrier and be a better college coach then pro.

I started back to school at ECPI this day. I had "Customer Relations" & "Environmental Biology". They were how would you say ..... ah yes .... "Interesting" classes.   No seriously Biology wasn't too bad.
UNC also played Pennsylvania this day and slaughtered them 102 -64.

Jan 7th & 10th
UNC beats Florida St. 84-58 & then UNC beats Virginia 79-69

This was pretty much sums up the game against VT..... painful.

Jan 13th
Unlucky 13th UNC loses to Virigina Tech it was UNC's worse game of the season they were down by as much as 24 but managed to pull within 6 to make it look like a closer game then it was losing 88-94

Jan 17th
UNC comes back from their 1st conference loss and beats the then undefeated Clemson 77-55

Jan 20th
UNC beats Georgia Tech 77-61

My first time coaching for them.

Before the UNC Vs GT game I started my i9sports coaching for the season. Since it is the inaugural season for i9 sports in this area the teams are lacking. For each division there are just 2 teams . There are 3 divisions a Junior, Middle , and Senior. Needless to say it should be an interesting season when I am just playing the same team over , and over, and over , and over , and over again ( 10 times total ) . I am also not coaching the usual ages ( 12- 14 ) that I normal do. Instead I have 9 - 11 year olds. I do have one 12 year old but only because she would of been the only girl in the Senior division. I can say I don't like the age group too much as their lack of attention span shows a lot during practices and it can be frustrating that I am babysitting more then coaching. The teams aren't to evenly matched due to the other team having a 9 year old that plays like a 13 year old and is head and shoulders above the rest. Hopefully they will adjust the start of the league next year so that it doesn't run with most YMCA's around here and thust having more people willing to sign up.

I believe the pic speaks for itself

Last but not least Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron was named to a 4 year deal. I don't know much about Cam other then he is 45 and was the head coach at Indiana University from 1997-2001. We will see if Cam is a true offensive genius or if LaDainian Tomlinson was just making him look good.

Jan 24th
UNC beat Wake Forest  88-60. No shocker there WF is last in the ACC and all of their talent graduated last year.

Jan 27th
UNC beats ( 17th ranked at the time ) Arizona 92-64 handing Coach Lute Olson his worst home loss in 24 seasons as Arizona's coach.

Speaking of losses my i9 sports' Warriors lost to the i9 sports' 76ers 5-23 thats right we only scored 5 points, even the little kids scored 20 some points. Need less to say that 9 year old is going to torch my team and hopefully they will learn some defense before the season is over.

Jan 31st
UNC beats Miami (FL) 105-64. Also this was the last day for my Customer Relations class. So my group had to give their Powerpoint presentation on a company ( "US Airways" )we randomly drew on the 1st day of class. I was stressing out on this project and finally just had enough so I slacked so in quality. My group really only had 2 people in it; as "backpack man" ( taken from the JFK "badge man" ) hardly showed up for a full class let alone to update us on his progress of his part of the project. I will give him some credit as he did do an a pretty good power point but the stress he caused of " would he be there" or not showed on his 10% of the member grade our teacher made us give everyone in our group.

An ok month all in all.  Tar Heels won 88.8 % of their games. The Magic plain sucked winning only 50% of 12 games and have been rumored in trade talks to help bring in some scoring options.

Things to look forward to in my next (Probably 1st week of March ) post:

• Will I get a job this month
• What was my final grades for Environmental Biology & Customer Relations
• How well UNC did for February
• Can the Orlando Magic's Dwight Howard win the All-Star game Dunking Contest
• What are my New classes for this term
• Why my 4.0 might be in jeopardy
• How my i9 sports' Warrior team is doing...

Current mood:  calm
Ok when last we left off :

• I hadn't gotten job and it was near the end of 2006
• I didn't know how well I did on my mid-term for Psychology
• Miami & Jacksonville had shots at making the playoffs
• Orlando was on a roll in November would they keep it going through the month of December
• I didn't know what will my final grades be in my 1st term at ECPI

Now for the dramatic conclusion that was my December. . . .

Sr. Reyshawn Terry has his best game of the 2006-07 season

Dec 2nd The Tar Heels faced the only challenging opponent they would for all of December in Kentucky which UNC won 75 -63. Senior Reyshawn Terry came to play with 4-6 3pters and 9 rebs for 16pts.

Dec 11th I noticed I got scheduled for "Microcomputer Applications" ( a intro basically to Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint ) While I never really used PowerPoint until going to ECPI I though with the 2 times that I have I could probably pass the Test out  test and save myself $1800 in a class I really don't need. Turns out I was right. I Aced it. There were no Excel formulas on the test and that is the only thing I'm not to good at. So yeah I earned 2 credits in less then 2 hours and saved $1800 on my tuition.

My award winning presentation of Chapter 9

Dec 14th I had my 2nd and final presentation due for my Psychology class. This time I had a big section that had 3 parts and I got the last part in the section of Chapter 9. I once again conquered the odds and managed to get 100% on the presentation.

My group's award winning presentation
Dec 19th  I had a mini- Power Point presentation (only had to last 10 mins total with 4 people in a group) due for my Freshmen Orientation Class. Our group chose to do it on different aspects of being a student at ECPI. I was the student going to school full-time and no job. Aced it too but pretty much the class was do the work pass don't fail.

Dec 20th Took my final exam for Psychology. Got a 98% ( Apparently one of the questions on my study guide was marked wrong so I got it wrong on the test too. So I ended up with a 99.5% for my overall grade in the class, but a  100-90 is an A (no plus or minus given) so for my first term at ECPI  I got a..... (drum roll4.0

Since I tested out of  "Microcomputer Applications" I now have Environmental Biology  with the same teacher I just finished for Freshmen Orientation. I also have this coming term Customer Relations with my 1st woman teacher. Classes start Wednesday January 3rd and the term ends February 5th.

Dec 25th Did the similar to last year going to one side of the family in the morning and the other side during the evening. For gifts it can be summed up pretty easy, Gift cards. That was the bulk of my gifts, so I won't be paying for a 4 star meal or a trip to JC Pennys any time soon. I did get some money which will be used for tuition loan interest and I got Season 5 DVD of Quantum Leap so now I just need Season 2 and Season 1 (which I have downloaded to the computer, but no DVD extras   ). That's about it which is fine cause when most of your stuff is in storage you kind of don't want more stuff.

Darko & the Magic Struggled during December

Dec 30th The Orlando Magic did have the best December going  6 of 16 for the month winning only 37.5% of their games and finishing 18-14 for the month. They are now 2nd in their division and 6th in the Eastern Conference ( Wow what a difference a month makes ). Orlando's biggest win ( if you want to call it that with Miami not having D-wade or Shaq playing ) was over the Miami Heat ( 97-68 ).

QB Quinn Gray #5 was the story for Jacksonville not David Garrard

Dec 31st  Jacksonville needed to beat Kansas City to keep their playoff hopes alive unfortunately for David Garrard it wasn't his day. He looked replaceable with Quinn Gray who had 2 rushing TDs and passed for 166 yards ( which was 26 more yards then David Garrard and Quinn only played in 12:08 in the 4th Qtr ). Jacksonville ended up losing ( 30 - 35 ) despite Gray's great game. Losing 3 of there last 4 games, Jacksonville can only blame themselves for not making the playoffs. There will definitely be a major QB controversy in Jacksonville this off-season with the starting job up for grabs.

Cleo Lemon gets to try out for next season
to see if he or Joey will remain on the team

The Dolphins basically  needed to Win all but one of their games for December but they did the complete opposite by losing all their December games but 1 ( The New England Game ). With 30 free-agents and Nick Saban still rumored to consider leaving Dolphins for the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Dolphins' are sure to be a different team next year.

The Year that was 2006

Well if you want to base it off  Financial success I guess I failed. Cause I am now -$28,400 due to tuition cost at ECPI.F

If you want to base off of Career success I am probably at a C or C- level. Due mostly cause I went all of 2006 without a job, but I did make a Career changing decision in enrolling at ECPI.

If you want to go off of Health I didn't do to bad I had the flu earlier on in the year but other then that I wasn't bed ridden for more then 3 days out of 365 or healthy for 99.1% of the year so that's an A+ .

Sports not too good. The Mets (which I really can't claim as "my team" as I haven't watched a complete baseball game on TV let alone a Mets game on TV since 1999 ) almost made it to the World Series Marlins weren't even close. The Orlando Magic didn't do much better then they did in 2005 not making the playoffs and getting the 11th Draft pick again. UNC finally made a Head coach change in Football. UNC Basketball overachieved for such a young team finishing 2nd in the ACC. I guess if I had to rate the season I would give it a solid D+ .
( Because I am a bigger UNC basketball fan then most of my other favorite teams and a UNC Freshmen squad beat a Duke Senior squad on Senior night. So that has to be worth something .)

My resolutions for 2007

•  To get a job ( no seriously I mean it ) part-time  most likely.
•  To eat better ( I know redundant )
•  To get in better shape ( Coaching Basketball  starting in Jan. 20th should help that )
•  Last to finish the year out the same way I started it with a 4.0

My sport team goals

The Tar Heels ( basketball ) make it to the Final Four and win the ACC Tournament. They have the talent to win another National Championship just not the experience. Also to keep everybody from going Pro early so we can make a title run next year.

The Orlando Magic to make the playoffs and to some how sign  Darko to an extension and sign Vince Carter for next year's team.

The Miami Dolphins keep Nick Saban try to keep as many Defensive free agents as possible. Sign younger guys to the positions you needed filled. Make the playoffs for 2008.

The Tampa Bay Bucs sign a QB. I don't think Chris Simms is ready to take the starting job. Tampa needs some offensive line help too.

The Jacksonville Jaguars keep at least 2 of the QBs you currently have on the roster. If it was me personally I would go with Leftwich and Gray ( if he does good in the Pre-season ) I always like the option of having  a pocket QB if my Scrambling QB isn't getting the job done. Maybe trade David Garrard to Tampa for a draft pick.

The Tar Heels ( football ) Let Butch Davis show you the promise land even if he has a bad season, remember he won't have any of his recruits come in until 2008-09 season. Make it to a bowl game and win it with a 7-5 or 8-4 record would be great. Beat Norte Dame or Tennessee would be amazing.

Ok when last we left off :

• I hadn't taken my TSA Phase I test yet
• Still had no grades in school
• Was going to my 1st Tar Heel football game
• The Heels just started to playing Basketball
• And of course Thanksgiving was approaching

Now for the dramatic conclusion that was my November. . . .

Beautiful Kenan Memorial Stadium
Nov 11th I went to my first Tar Heel Football game . They played Georgia Tech and loss 0-7. It would be Coach John Bunting's last loss of the season as he would go on to beat in state rivals; NC State & Duke to end out the season and his career at UNC ( Butch Davis was announced as the NEW coach 2 days later on Nov. 13th )

Airport luggage x-rays
Nov 14th Well I went to take my TSA test and failed it miserably. Basically the 1st half was easy book knowledge, but the 2nd half was looking at a bunch of x-rays of luggage and trying to find the items that they showed at the beginning of each section in 30 secs or less. It was basically impossible unless you have ever been trained to do it before. I can now see why they pay so well cause that part of the test is hard to pass.

Located in SC, NC, VA & WV
Nov.21st (Thanksgiving) I had two thanksgivings well sort of. 1st was my side of the families at 12pm at a Mid-South Chain cafeteria called K&W.
I didn't want to go with traditional so I had Fish with tarter sauce, mash potatoes & gravy, mixed greens, a soft roll, and strawberries with bananas .
Next at 6pm (actually got there at 7pm) the food was wiped. So I had 2 pieces of ham and 2 deviled eggs (no joke there wasn't anything left).

Just like my Thanksgiving meals my Thanksgiving football was ½ & half too.

QB Joey Harrington showing that Detroit sucks
Miami Dolphins helped Joey Harrington show that Detroit was the problem and not him when they beat Detroit 27-10.

Mike Alstott scoring Tampa 's only TD of the game in a 38 -10 Loss to Dallas.
Tampa was on the other end of the stick by taking a 38-10 beating from the Cowboys. To be honest I didn't watch the game as I was still down from the lack of food for the meal and couldn't handle 2 downers in such a short time.

Kim Jong Il (The subject of my biography)
Nov 28th I gave my Biography presentation on Kim Jong Il ( the North Korean Dictator ). We could do it on anyone but I just found it interesting that he basically had 2 biographies one from his own propaganda for the North Korean people and one that is known to be factual. I haven't gotten a grade back for my presentation yet.

My award winning presentation of Chapter 5
Nov 29th  I gave my presentation on my section of Chapter 5 in Psychology. I got a 100 but was told next time that it would be graded more critial and that I needed to have more energy in my next presentation to get the same score. So so far I have a 4.0

Tyler Hansbrough
Also the # 7 ranked Tar Heels took on # 1 ranked Ohio State and won 98 - 89. Wayne Ellington predicted that he would scored 19 pts for his 19th birthday and did. Minus the Gonzaga bump in the road the Heels are playing good for such a young team that is still trying to find their new identity.

Dwight Howard doing what he does best.... Dominating
Biggest November Surprise:
I guess the biggest and best surprised of the November is the great play of the Orlando Magic ( 12-4 winning 75% of their games ). They finished # 1 in the Eastern Conference for November. If they keep it up they could finally make it back to the playoffs something they haven't done since 2003 and who knows might even win in the 1st round of the playoffs something they haven't done since 1996. Before I get ahead of myself I hope that Dwight Howard will get some recognition this year and at least get voted as a reserve into the 2007 NBA All-star game.

Things to look forward to in my next (Probably Dec. 20th ) post:

• Will I ever get a job before the end of 2006
• How well I did on my mid-term for Psychology
• Can Miami or Jacksonville actually make the playoffs
• Can Orlando keep it going through the month of December
• What will my final grades be in my 1st term at ECPI

Stay tune for more another exciting episode in 2 weeks ! ! !

Current mood:  accomplished
Its been 62 days since my last blog. I'm still jobless ( thust the still quarterly post {but there is a prospect}) and I finally have some directionin my life.

September: I don't really think much happened in this month except in sports.

I had high hopes (as most Miami Dolphin Fans did) this coming season that were quickly shatter in Miami's 2nd game (
the  Sept. 17th Buffalo Bills game ) where in the opening snap QB Daunte Culpepper fumbled the ball when he went to throw it.

and then with the Tampa Bay Bucs. For them it was the September 24th game against Carolina. Where Chris Simms went down with and had to have his spleen removed and as of last week is out for the season.

Pretty much the only FL team that is doing better without their starting QB is Jacksonville. Where David Garrard's moblity is helping the Jax to a 5-3 record ; tied for 6th place in the AFC with KC (who also has been without their starter).

and of course in the college football scene  UNC plainly sucks this season . So that was most of my September watching football and hoping one of the other two (Miami or Tampa) FL teams would do something in the NFL.

October: Well in the beginning there was Orlando Magic Training Camp and it was good. Then injuires started and pretty much kept 4 players out of action through the whole Pre-season. In mid month my dog Maximus made some new friends (well sort of ). I looked out the window one day while I was at the kitchen sink and I saw 2 dogs outside just wondering around with no collars or tags. Well to make a long story short we kept the puppy (black and white one) until one of the neighboor dog owner was able to tell us that he knew who it belonged to. Maximus didn't really take to the puppy but really liked the other (brown and white) dog both were females so needless to say we had to let the brown and white one move on since Maximus isn't neutered.

I was both glad & sad to give-up the puppy. It was cool to have a dog that you could carry around again but it wasn't cool cleaning up the poop or pee and having to take her out so much compared to Maximus. All in all it was quite a 2 day experience.

Later on in the month I decided I need to spruce up my resume and go back to school. Not to mention it would ease the moving translation by having something that I could transfer job locations to easier. So on the 24th of Oct. I decided to check out ECPI College of Technology. The next week I was taking a placement test (that some how I did quite well on; no pre-recs required, not bad for someone who hasn't been to school in 7 years).

November: The Orlando Magic started my month out right by winning their 1st Regular season game against the Bulls; Dwight Howrd looked like the 2nd coming of Shaq but reality settled in after that 1st game and  after Dwight got 27pts , 11 Rebs, and 2 blks  he is now only averaging 8 pts,  8.2 Rebs, and 1.8 blks a game. Hardly Shaq like #'s when Shaq was 20 and playing for the Magic in his rookie campaign.

Last week I applied for finacial aide and of course didn't qualify for a SAR loan (sucked that they go off last year's W-2 & that last year I made the most I have in my life) So it looks like I will have loans to pay off for the rest of my life .

The 18 month breakdown is like this 3 "terms" (1st & 2nd terms 30 weeks each 3rd term is 12 weeks) every 5 weeks I get a new class. The 3 things I liked the best is its only 2 classes for the those 5 weeks and that they offer career placement ( they have place people in 34 different states {Florida here I come }) upon graduation and job placement while in school.

However I might not need Job placement as I just got an e-mail Tuesday from the T.S.A. a.k.a. the Transportation Security Administration and they looked over my application and want me to take the Phase I test next Wednesday. I applied for a "1802-Transportation Security Officer (TSO) (Screener)" position... oh come on you know the people who x-ray your luggage and make you take off your shoes.... Yep that could be me one day. They start off at $23,600 ($11.34/hr) Min with a $35,400 ($17.01/hr) Max. I made $12.86/hr in Maryland but things were higher there so this would actually seem like I was making more. Plus TSA works for the government so I should have sweeeet health benifits. My only problem is it is list that there is 56-72 hours of classroom training, 112-128 hours of on-the-job training, and a certification examination and I'm not sure if they offer any of that at night or after 1pm. Because of school Mon - Thur 8am to 1 pm ( at least for the 1st term ) it would be pretty impossible to do 56-72 hours of classroom training unless it started after 1pm.

TSA is off to a bad start too as I will miss at least the last hour of Psychology 101 on Wednesday ( my 2nd day of school ) to go take this Phase I test at 1pm. Just my luck I enroll in school and now I might qualfiy for a better then decent job but it could effect my school.

Side Notes: Well due to me finally having a life I guess I will update my blogs more often the quarterly. My next update should be after Thanksgiving.

Where you will get to find out:

• If I passed the TSA Phase I test
• How I am doing in school
• How my 1st Tar Heel football game experience was (going to the game against GA Tech tomorrow)
• How the Heels are doing in Basketball
• And of course how my Thanksgiving was

Its been 106 days since my last blog and while nothing spectacular happen this quarter either I do have a road trip to report on. I'm still jobless ( thust the still quarterly post ). I went to another Temp agency with no pay off so far.

Now the moment we all have been waiting for I will sum up the quarter that was:

May:
Since there was only 6 days left after my late blog last time not much happened.

June: I thought towards the end of June that my luck had changed. I went to my first Temp Agency and that same day when I came home another place called me about an Interview. Neither paid off so I was back where I started from which was nowhere.

I did attend a Sister Hazel Concert on June 7th at Ziggy's right here in Winston Salem. So that was probably the highlight of the month & I saw they are coming back to Ziggy's on Sept 23rd to promote their new album "Absolutely " which comes out OCT. 10th  I will have to try and make that show too.

July:  Um July was ok nothing much going on really.  I went to
Martinsville, VA to A Free Fireworks Display. The Fireworks were good but I didn't care for the entertainment. The guy that sings "Son Beach" (a country singer ) was the main attraction but then again I was at a Nascar track only thing missing were the cars. But hey free is free and like I said the fireworks were good.

August:  The 1st week of August I went with my mom to Dothan, AL ( Peanut Captial of the world )so she could get her divorce from her Biggest mistake of a husband. Dothan was good .I guess I didn't like the fact that 90% of the stuff is off a circle HWY it gets confusing when you try and get directions off a website. It kinda sucked being 20 miles from Florida and not being able to go, but I knew I was still a good 8 hours from Home.

I did watch the FIBA games with Team USA ... ok I taped them and watched them; what can I say they were on at 6:30 am most of the time due to the fact that they were playing in Japan. It was very disappointing that the US took another Bronze Metal but hopefully they will learn from it and will do better next summer in the America Zone Qualifying Tournament in Caracas, Venezuela if they don't make it to the final game they might not qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China

Well thats it for now.

I won't get into September since it is still early I will save it for my next blog maybe it will be more exciting this this one.

Well its been awhile since my last blog I guess I was waiting for something spectacular to happen and nothing really has. Still jobless a little by choice. I went for an interview this week and they did offer me a lesser job but I told then thanks but no thanks.

Now I will sum up the quarter that was:

February: Not much happened here Pittsburgh beat Seattle in the Super Bowl, UNC triumphed over Duke on Duke's Senior Night and UNC finished second in the ACC ( not bad for a team that lost it's top 7 starters ). Went to a WWE RAW in Greensboro, NC on Feb 13th.

March: UNC goes to the NCAA Tournament but loses in the 3rd round to George Mason ( Who also beat UConn who has 4 players that should go in the 1st RD of the NBA Draft ). Not much else happen that I can remember.

April: Moved out of the place I was staying at and in with my sister ( again
Went to a few Library Book Sales ( Didn't find much that dealt with my interest ). That was the main highlights for April.

May: Filled out an application for a" Team Leader " position. Why do retail corporations have dumb names for their positions ? ? ?  Team Leader, Team Member, Team Specialist, Sandwich Artist, all are dumb just call them what they are Assit .Department Manager, Sales Associate, Senior Sales Associate, Sandwich Maker.

Anyway I had my birthday it was ok, went and saw Da Vinci Code and then ate Chinese at a Buffet place. I got my Tar Heel Championship DVD, A Tar Heel version of UNO , Tar Heel picture , Tar Heel Seat Cushion, Sublime Gold Edition Double Disc CD, and Quantum Leap Season 3 & 4 DVDs. I also got  $100 which when you don't have any other income  gets used on Oil Changes and Food.

Back to Target I went in for my interview on Monday and then they only offer me a Team Member Position. I told then no thanks. I don't want a job that pays crappy and that anyone with less experience then me can get.

So yeah back looking for a job. I wish I could land one in Melbourne save me from having to get a yob ( Yob- A job that you don't want and are only using for a transition to another job ). I have applied at DRS Technologies in Brevard County so hopefully I will hear something back from them but due that I live 8 hrs away I doubt I will.

Well I guess it was overdue, but here is my 1st blog of 2006:

I just posted a new pic of my 2001 Saturn SL1 on my " View More Pics"section . It  is Dark green even though it looks black in the photo. I will have other pics of it later.

Not much happening in the "Tar Heel State" I will start applying for jobs next week. With any luck I should be in the " The Sunshine State " by my birthday at the latest.

I did get to see a friend from my Florida Days that I haven't seen since his wedding back in 2001, so that was cool. He told me he comes up to Winston about once a month so hopefully I will get to see him more while I am up here.

I kinda feel bad for not seeing any of my old Winston Friends but I am waiting til I get a job to get in touch with them so that I'm not always broke. I have seen two since I have been here so I'm not totally neglecting them, and I tried to meet up with one for the AFC Championship Game but never heard back from him, so I am trying.

I picked up some new Coaching Books ( for Basketball ) at a Used  Bookstore. One was just on taking stats in a game, the other was and old 70's book on strategy ( Ya got to love strategy it is always  relevant in the sports world ) . With all the stuff I have picked up since 2004 I should have plenty of info to chose from. I can't wait to get back into coach it is a part of my life I miss the most. Maybe I will get into coach in Florida.

Current mood:  determined

I doubt I will cover every month as Maryland Months kind of run together.

1st Quarter of the year: Nothing Special that I can recall Truck didn't run (Same way I ended this year).

2nd Quarter of the year: Tar Heels winning the NCAA Men's Championship I guess was the biggest thing and the fact that I got a hair cut ( my first in a year ) in Chapel Hill, NC ( drove all night ) the day after they won it .

3rd Quarter of the year: This was the time I saw the most family members. My sister came up from NC to Maryland. We went to Gettysburg, PA.

Also my g/f 's mom & cousin/best friend came up in July from NC.

4th Quarter of the year: The most hectic time of my whole year. October the guy that knew more about my job then me left the company to move back to NC. At that point I knew I was leaving and trying to get back to Florida.

1st Week in November they install a camera to basically monitor me for the whole time I am at work ( Icing on the cake that made quiting so much easier ).

Saw an old friend before I finally left MD, that was nice.

Nov 18th closed the Maryland Chapter in my life by moving out and back to NC.

Thanksgiving day the D-Day for my g/f 's van as it cracks the engine block and over heats in a matter of mins because it won't hold any anti-freeze to cool the engine. This makes me know right a way that I will be a NC resident for a longer time then I would like and the great car search begins.

Christmas was pretty good I must say all things considering ( no job, no car, no place to claim residence; then again no bills ) I got a great selection of Tar Heel stuff from T-Shirts to memoribilia, and I got the complete Wrestlemania DVD collection ( 1-21 Over 69 Hours on 21 Disc ). Thanks to Hurricane Katrina I got to spend my first Christmas in 7 years with my mom ( She lost pretty much everything and moved back to NC ).

To close out the year after over a month of looking we finally found a car and bought it. A 2001 Saturn SL1 with a little over 72,000 miles on it ( which is a little high ) Hopefully I will appreciate the allegedly 40 miles to the gallon it gets on the Highway. I will post a picture of it when I get a chance.

I will start off 2006 looking for a descent job that I can save up money from quickly and hopefully be done with the NC Chapter of my life by the end of the First Quarter of 2006.
