It's our Grand opening at our new fall/winter home this week and we have the world famous, Hector Romero. A member of the legendary Def Mix crew, along with David Morales, Frankie Knuckles and Satoshi Tomie. This is the "DUDE" philly, Hector has destroyed it every single time, his extended sets have become infamous. This will be his 4th appearance and I think it will be his most triumphant yet. Whether your a deep head or into minimal sounds, Hector blends the spectrum of house and captures the moment like no other. This could possibly be one of the best Sundae's ever, I am so excited for the experience at Silk....

LAX IS NOW OPEN!
This weekend, we start a new chapter in the Sundae story.  The city of Angles is now the newest home to music lovers.  Lars B and the Snackbar crew are making final preps for this Sundae's opening.  There is a lot of buzz on the West Coast, I know the Philly transplants will be there representing and a quite a few people are flying in for the party.  I would like to thank everyone involved with this endeavor, especially Urban Outfitters for the use of the amazing space & a big shout out to the LA Times for the HUGE write up.

This week Sundae launches its first concert series for the summer.  Mark de Clive Lowe & Lady Alma together for the first time in the United States.  They have been tearing up the planet and now Alma wants to show Mr. Clive Lowe how we do things in Philly.  You will not want to miss this.

Holding it down before the show will be Dj Niko, it has been awhile since our schedules have aligned and this week, he will be center stage rocking the Piazza.  The After Party will be Dirty & I at Vino and Issac Jordan at PYT.  The wrist band get you into both.  

Holiding it down late night will be Lonely at Pure.  But he won't be alone for long, Pure has been busy almost every week and the Dj's are bringing the heat. Don't sleep on this late night wonder.

Water Taxi Beach, South Street Seaport is open seven days a week from 11am - 11pm or later. Located on the north side of Pier 17 with spectacular views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Water Taxi Beach will cater to families in search of reasonably priced food and outdoor entertainment on an 18,000 square foot location with signature sandy beach, 9-hole miniature golf course, ping-pong tables and skeeball. There will also be live music and DJs on the beach Thursday - Sunday.

Sundae Philadelphia's New Summer Location Octo is still under construction and will not be ready until June. We are still moving their and plan on having Our Grand-Opening with ?uestlove on June 7th! 

This weekend, our first summer event will be Outdoors for FREE! at The Piazza in Northern Liberties on May 31st, with an after - party at Silk City w/ jojoflores.

It will be Super Sundae w/ Lee Jones and Dirty at The Piazza at Schmidts located right off of N. 2nd st in between Widley and George sts. (Across from Bar Ferdinand & El Camino)

Description of the Piazza, Its a new $150 million multi - use art complex w/ Lofts, Retail Shops and Restaurants. Right in the center of all this is a 80,000 square feet outdoor public area, with a 40 ft x 25 ft performance stage and a 16 ft x 25 ft HD LED video projection screen.

Basically its the courtyard from heaven surrounded by awesome restaurants and retail shops in a great area of the city!

We would have loved to start Sundae as scheduled at Octo but its a blessing in disguise to do our first one at The Piazza. Its an amazing complex and will be one of the best hosts for a Sundae party.

Lee and Dirty are really excited for this one.
