Yep, I mentioned The Seduction Bible. When I first saw it I wanted to laugh, but now my laughter is combined with shock. Okay, maybe shock isn't exactly the word for it. Maybe I should just say I'm not very impressed. What is The Seduction Bible? It's a website that teaches men how to talk to, interact with, and eventually seduce women. To me, this is just wrong on so many levels. I'm reminded of that Will Smith movie, Hitch, where he teaches men how to snag the women of their dreams. The only difference is that was totally funny because it was FICTION. This just just appalling because it's real life. Seriously, what woman wants a man who has to learn how to seduce her? Then again, how many women want a man who's willing to sink so low as to wear a belt buckle just to bring attention to "that area." They even teach men how to transition from the typical date small talk into a kiss. Seriously, men need people to tell them how to kiss a woman? That's just messed up! It seems to me the site is a take off of that VH1 show "Pick Up Artist". I also think that show is just stupid. If a man has to learn how to seduce a woman, then apparently she's not the right one for him now is she? Seriously men, go after someone you feel comfortable around. If you don't feel comfortable making a move on her own your own, something's wrong!

I saw a site awhile back that someone mentioned to me again today. The site is called womansavers.com, and they are a service for women who participate in online dating. Basically any woman who meets a man on an online dating site can go to womansavers and search for him in the database. If he shows up in the database, they can read about experiences other women have had on dates with him. The site was set up as a resource to keep women from falling for guys online who are abusive or cheaters. You can even rate the guy according to how great your date was. The overall concept is okay, but how many women out there who actually use online dating services want to read about dates her guy has had with other women? After the discussion with my friend, I asked a few other women I know about it, and to my surprise, they all said they would definitely use the site, but not to search for someone they want to date. Instead they would use it to search for cheating husbands. Thankfully that's one thing I shouldn't have to worry about, but still the concept just amazes me. I do believe this is just another social network site, but one for women, and one they can actually find useful information from. Aside from all the guy talk, there's free medical advice, and even games designed for women. I got a kick out of reading some of the greeting cards that are quite adult in nature. This is definitely a site of a different nature!

A few days ago I started having some weirdness going on around here.
First my top friends started disappearing, only no one knows why. I'm not deleting them, nor ar they deleting me.
Next, my comments started to go bye bye too. One I didn't think too much about. It was embedded so I had to approve it and I thought well maybe i clicked the wrong box, but then this morning, two people left me comments, I read them, saw them on my page and poof, gone.
SPAM!!!!! Over the last two days I have had 36 people spam me wanting me to "Pass This On" in an email. I'm not stupid enough to click on your link. Stop spamming it to me!
No, I don't want to be your friend! 12 people have requested to be my friend, but they're all stupid fake profiles telling me I can win a PS3 or a Wii. What is MS coming to?
It's pathetic when I'm getting more junk mail on here than I am at all of my regular email addresses combined, and if you know me well, you know I have tons of email accts! Oh well.

So yeah, if you haven't already heard, I'm moving to 3rd shift Sunday night....and not by my own choice this time. As much as I prefer staying up all night and sleeping all day, it's going to be weird getting used to it. They told me it'll only be for 8 weeks, but you know how things go. Today they say 8 weeks, tomorrow they say 8 months. All I know is at the end of all this they better be hiring me on or i'm outa there. I'm not over-working my ass off at temp pay for nothing.....but Shitron is good at pulling stunts like this and leaving you hanging. I'll be lucky to make it the 8 weeks w/o getting laid off. So to all my firsties I spend my days with....I'm going to miss you all, but I'll still see you for about 5 minutes every morning, and you know how to get in touch with me!

So last night Ben let a friend ride the bike around the parking lot at Nick and Julia's new apartment complex. This friend has only ridden once before around our yard although he did pretty well considering it was wet grass. This was his first time on pavement, and he was doing great.....until.... He came around a curve only going about 20mph, tried to shift to 2nd altho Ben plainly told him to stay in first and laid the bike down. Thankfully it wasn't too bad, but it wouldn't have been as bad if Ben had listened to me and bought his frame sliders months ago like I told him to! So the damage: I'll take a couple pics to update with when it's not raining. I was going to take some last night but it was too dark. So here's a list of the stuff that has to be replaced. Nothing's busted. Thankfully it was just a "parking lot lay down" and not really a crash. Not too much damage you can do at 20mph. And thankfully it was the left side of the bike. So we've (well the friend) has to replace: -The new blinkers we just put on last week. -The mirror has a huge scratch in it. - The bar end is scrubbed off. - The screws are chewed up. (And there are a few small scratches in the fairing but I'm not worried about those. Adds character haha.) - The crankcase cover took most of the damage. Thankfully we were already getting a carbon fiber crankcase cover for it. And of course, I'm making Ben get extended frame sliders. Of course the friend is paying for the damage without us even asking him to, and Ben learned a couple new lessons. 1. Your best friend is always the first person to drop or lay your bike down. 2. So if you've left me a comment or mail in the past oh like 5 days, there's prolly about a 40% chance I've actually gotten to read it. MS is being so gay right now that basically the only thing I can get to is my blog....so my random bored rambling is coming out in here.....
On another note, it's 11:15 and I'm in no mood to go to sleep because I'm in no mood to go to work tomorrow. After my previous ramble about 2007 and all that bs and finding a new job....looks like it might be sooner than I thought. There's a lot of crap going on at work, mostly people who don't know how to get their shite together as usual so orders are being cancelled and/or lost and products don't work. What does that mean? NO WORK FOR ME. Temps are getting laid off, and those who are left are getting sent home. For instance all the temps on 3rd were sent home tonight on the first night back after our vacation week.
Words of Wisdom to anyone who ever wants to start their own business: Don't work your employees to death for 21 days straight just to get everything done early. In the end all you have is a buncha pissed off people b/c they don't have any work to do and aren't getting paid. You'd save a lot of cash if you just kept them working w/o having to pay out all that extra overtime!

Current mood: sick
As most of you know, I've been rather sick all weekend, but now its 5:45pm on Sunday evening and I'm not feeling any better. In fact, I'm actually doing worse. My fever broke last night, but came back today with a fury. I hate taking meds unless I absolutely have to, but I've had to take fever reducers all day to try to keep it under 101....and they aren't doing their job. My temp just keeps going up.
So, I have to sit here and think, what am I going to do if I can't get my fever under control by tomorrow morning? Yes, I feel like rubbish, but without the fever I can otherwise function enough to get through the day as I must, but if the fever doesn't break, I don't know what to do.
See, if you've read any of my previous blogs pertaining to my work situation, you would know that things aren't exactly going too well around there right now, and my job is most likely in jeopardy, so I feel like I'm walking on eggshells everyday wondering if the next will be my last. So now I have to take into consideration all of the following:
~my job is already at risk ~my boss held a meeting with us a few mths back and said no more calling in sick w/o a dr's excuse ~I have no insurance ~I don't have the cash to pay out of pocket to visit a dr. right now unless it's life or death, and this really isn't.
So, with all of that said, do I go into work in the morning and risk getting others sick, which by the way is how I contracted it in the first place.....from someone sick who couldn't afford to be out anymore without getting fired, or do I call in and hope and pray that I don't lose my job because I can't afford to provide a dr's excuse? Seems like a very big catch-22 doesn't it?
