Hello friends,

For a while I have been hooked to this local Los Angeles based blog www.wearebinary.blogspot.com. It brings this great dreamwave kind of music which I love and fits so well here in LA. They have put me onto a lot of great new acts and their community keeps on building. Binary is ran by Josh and Kyle who also form an act called Nightwaves. When the opportunity came up to help them out and give back I took it and remixed one of their tracks called "Fascination".

Binary is releasing a record today called "Binary Presents: LA Lights" which is a collection of music from artists that they have been supporting and vice versa.  This remix is to support this release. My remix has it's debut at rcrdlbl.com today so check out the full vocal mix there. I have uploaded the instrumental here so you can get a taste.

Hello friends,

I have been out of touch for a bit as I locked myself up and worked hard on new material. We are still working on a masterplan to release the new material, but I wanted to give you a preview of what is to come. In the player are 2 dance floor tracks I am really happy with, Cosmic Rave and Dream On. We are doing a limited 500 vinyl press which will hit stores next week. The vinyl sleeve has no information on it, just the northern light image you see on the myspace background, so it will take a bit of searching, but hopefully well worth it. Stay tuned!!

Tom

KIA has this program going on with imeem where they asked a handful of DJs and producers to submit a “Playlist for your soul” (essentially a driving playlist). Right before the holidays I compiled a list of my favorite driving tracks. It includes acts like Daft Punk, Kraftwerk, Chris Rea, Yonderboi, etc, etc. You can go listen to all the different ones and vote for your favorite. Some of the other acts are: Chromeo, Armand Van Helden, Steve Aoki, Jason Bentley, Felix Da Housecat, etc… cool list of producers. Follow the link below. Enjoy!! http://www.foryoursoulpromo.com/index.php/junkie-xl

Hello friends,

Just a quick message, because I can t resist and I am getting a little bit bored on my holiday here in Amsterdam.

New video added to the myspace!!

One of Holland's best parties is held every year on the 27th of December in Paradiso Amsterdam. The party is called Manifesto and it is a crazy dressed up event where people come together to party away the past year. It is themed (this year it was money crisis and thus called Moneyfesto) There were dead stockmartket traders hanging from the ceiling with briefcases still in hand, they hanged themselves. A big led screen with the stockmarket crashing. People had to buy their tickets as a stock online which meant some people spend eur 5 for a ticket and others paid up to eur 200 for 1 ticket!! (scalpers were selling the tickets for eur 350 outside the door). There were skids, Alan Greenspan and His Lehman Brothers Caberet made an appearance for exemple, and to make the party complete a strict enforced money dresscode. I saw somebody dressed up as an ATM machine. In other words it was a manic chaos. The very nice people of the promoter collective called Meubelstukken asked me for an unannounced 20 minute set which I was happy and honored to do. Here a quick impression.

Hello friends,

Wanted to take this moment to wish everybody a Merry Christmas and healthy and happy New Year.

I am celebrating Christmas in Holland with my father so should be good. Before I do, I will play a small show in the Dutch town of Groningen this Saturday the 20th. Groningen is the town I lived for a long time when I was studying and the town I did a lot if musical growing. I will play at a club called Vera which is a place I often went to see bands in that time. Old friends will come to the show so really looking forward to that. I will actually spend the night upstairs in the club so will be able to roll from stage to my bed. Amazing!! Then after Xmas I will play a New Years show in Rotterdam right underneath the Erasmusbrug, which should be a blast. Ticket price is only eur 9, so if you are in the neighborhood please stop by. In between I will be shutting communications down which is why I send you this early message.

Would like to thank everybody for the support this year. It has been amazing. The shows were particularly great this year. So many highlights. For those of you who caught a show, you probably remember a mash up I played in most shows this year. I took two of my all time favorite tracks and mashed them together. The songs are Moby "Go" and Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence". As a little memoir to those great times on the dancefloors and to show my eternal gratitude for all your support I did a quick bounce from my live set and put it on the myspace. It is a bit rough, but I think that adds to the character. Hope you enjoy!

Love,
Tom

Hello my friends,

Wanted to wish all of you in the US a happy Thanksgiving. Hope you are celebrating the day in a good place with people you like and love.

If you are near the radio or internet tomorrow evening 7:30pm LA time. Please tune in to Metropolis on KCRW. My good friend Jason Bentley has been the host DJ for a whopping 16 years, starting in 1992. Unbelievable!! Starting Monday he will be the new program director of KCRW and will be the presenting Morning Becomes Eclectic. This means Friday night will be his last show for Metropolis. Jason has an exceptional taste in music and electronic music in particular. He has always been pushing good electronic music in general and I have been fortunate to be played a few times as well. Besides that he is the guy who convinced me to move to Los Angeles 5 years ago as he thought I would find my place here in the film and game industry. He was right.

Please show your support and respect.

Love
Tom

Hello friends,

This is a message for all my friends in Peru. Thank you for the amazing show yesterday (Saturday) at Creamfields Peru. It had been a while since I was in Peru so it was good to see people had not forgotten about me and gave me a warm welcome. The evening was special. I hope we will see each other on the dancefloor again soon. In the mean time we will always have youtube!!

Love,
Tom

Hello friends,

Thank you everyone for your support these last weeks and for the ones who did, thank you for coming out to the shows this past weekend. Was great!

In the mean time I have done a remix of the theme song for a new Electronic Arts game called Mirror's Edge. To promote the game EA have gathered an incredible remix package with Teddybears, Bennie Benassi, Armand Van Helden, Paul Van Dyk and yours truly. The package will be available on November 11th. You can check out the remix here in my player. This is a pop track and for the remix I have gone somewhat soft compared to the latest stuff you heard from me. But I love the result and it puts me in a nice mellow vibe going through the fall after this mad summer. Check it out!!

Also a little momento from this summer. The 3rd video has incredible footage from the Summersonic Festival I played in Tokyo on August 9th. Good memories!

Have a great week and please go and vote tomorrow. Rain or shine!!!

Love,
Tom
