Oh FFS we're finally up and running again on here. Sorry for the delay and thanks to all of those who were so patient with us.

Just a heads up that we're trying to revamp the website, though it may take a while but MOSTLY our KP.com site is down. We've had to find a new server. We did all of the paperwork for it on the 30th but there seems to be a stall. We're still around just having trouble w/ the holiday season and all. Bear w/ us :-)

I came into the office today to a message from our local newspaper, The Augusta Chronicle, asking me if we were taking part in this year's James Brown Music Festival. I haven't called them back yet because I feel I really need to think about this.
Anyone that was a part of last years saw all of the hassle, inexperience and chaos that went on with the "founders" of the festival. If you guys really wish to come back and do it again or give it a shot for the first time, I might could be persuaded.

Last year the festival did not pay the bands and did help a few out with meals, hotel etc but it was rare and a damn hard fight on my part to even get that. I would expect the same this year, though I have not made contact with them yet.
I will leave this completely up to you guys.

Karnal Promotions is taking a break from bookings until after Christmas. We still will be accepting music through SonicBids for film & TV placement but we are redirecting ourselves a bit to become more successful and hopefully help the artists out more 

There is a new little venue that just opened up in Lousiville Ga and we're accepting applications for submittals. If you have a small band and are interested in playing, please let us know. You can contact me at shanna@karnalpromotions.com and describe the band in a brief sentence. Let us know how many are in your band and what you need. A room for the evening will be provided for, great promotion, free food for the band and  a $3 to $5 cover charge that you keep. So far the turnout has been really good and we expect it to grow the more people become accustomed the diverse sound that is experienced in this club. No rap please.

We will all be meeting up at The Country Club on Thursday night, May 25th for a little get together. We will meet at 9pm and this will give us a chance to meet & greet everyone. I know a few of you are coming in on Wed. and we can meet then, as well but the majority will be here on Thursday. I am sure not everyone is 100% thrilled about a country club but I just struggled finding a place since it is a holiday weekend plus the festival. Our very own Gis Johannsson will be performing that evening and it is a cozy joint with a wonderful atmosphere and evern better Blue Hawaiians 
Hope you all can make it.  The myspace page for The Country Club is in my top 8 and I just totally adore the hell out of the place.
