Myspace blog...oh the memories.

Anywho just wanted to post another reminder/ update that my blogs have now taken home at www.kusohappens.com/blog/

and I'm also slowly transitioning into doing some video blogging too, hit up my YouTube channel for that, or just check them through www.kusohappens.com/blog/

I ought to update with some recent pics on here too, and maybe edit a few textual bits on my profile page that are out of date.  In fact...I can probably do the profile updating (except the pics) right now as I'm currently killing time at "work" as I'm ahead of myself in terms of what I had to do and what can be done right now.

Subway lunch in 35mins!  The count down is on (in my head), the minutes are 5 times longer, and my tastes buds are eager.  Subway <3

Anywho, if you want to add me, feel free.  I'm becoming quite the social network whore this year, meeting new people, spamming the internet with my crap (my blog, youtube, twitter, facebook, myspace), so yeah don't shy off, add me

Adios amigo's.

I hinted at this over several of my last blogs on here...but now it's official.
I have moved my blogging elsewhere.  Nothing against myspace, this place has done a lot for me in terms of introducing me and getting me into the whole blogging scene.  I'll always remember that, and appreciate my old blogs on here.  All the hits this place has enabled me to get from people checking my page.  It's all been great and I appreciate everyone who left me a comment, anyone who digs reading my stuff, and anyone that has left me kudos etc.

It just came a time for me to follow suit, take advantage of my own webspace and domain, and host my stuff elsewhere without it being just a bunch of stuff on my myspace.  Now I can say my blog is officially "my blog".  It's not "my myspace blog" anymore.  I have more advantages and features open to me with my new blog, so I should in theory be able to do better blogs (in terms of adding pictures and stuff I guess).

Anyway, if you are subscribed to this blog via RSS, or through myspace somehow, then I urge you to add my new blog to your RSS (clear button for it in the top right of my new site).

Nothing left to do here but give one more thankyou to myspace and the people that have read/ commented my stuff, and of course give you the url to where things continue on from here...

  Thanks everyone

[note:  Please at least read the bit in dark blue, and comment on what you think went on...it's got me irritated thinkin about it]

Hey up my blog crowd.

So…I haven't blogged in about 5 days (my bad/ your good…however you see it).  I meant to blog on Monday but didn't get round to posting…I had written a piece on one of the worst hangovers ever that I suffered on Sunday, but I rambled on a bit further and just though it not worth hitting the "post blog" button over.

I'll edit it down to solely being the hangover (I don't think that bit was too long) and upload it tonight maybe…before this one perhaps.

Anyway, today…I got up, brushed my teeth, washed the sleep out of my eye ("sleep", its such a polite description of that funky green sticky goo that your eyeball shits out), then I put on some jeans, a vest (p.s. I'm John McClane), and drove to McDonalds for breakfast.  I got a double sausage & egg McMuffin (first one I've had in a while…love em), then I finished filling out some forms, got dressed into my funky new work clothes that my GF insisted on lending me the cash to buy last night, and I started to over fill a cup of nerves inside.  I think I mentioned last week that I had a job interview…today I had it, I had been pretty cool about it mentally all week, a tad nervous, but compared to others, I was doin good.  However I was losing my cool for a while this morning, after I'd straightened my hair and was dressed, and then it was down to 15mins before I had to set off…my cool was lost.  I was nervous, I felt un-prepared for the interview before me.  They had given me a sheet with things I should come up with examples of from past work experience, I had some examples, but compared to the amount of things on the sheet, and the amount of creativity I felt I had on my side this morning…I felt like I was on the last boss in Sonic 2 with no extra lives behind me, I wasn't going to win.  Dumb metaphors aside though…I gulped down some Tropicana Orange, hugged my gf, and went…got there nice and on time, the place was huge…had to park up then get a lift to the interview building from some random guy, I guess the small talk between us, the nice weather, and being somewhere new and different…those things sort of calmed my nerves.

2 women interviewed me, things didn't seem so tense, so I credit them for that…I hate pressured interviews, I know by default there will always be some pressure…but interviewers that seem to want to push extra pressure onto you during said interview, it won't milk the best out of the interviewee in my opinion.  Today wasn't like that though as I was getting too, the interview wasn't the most laid back interview I've had (although it was top 3), skateboarding didn't get brought up (It's listed as a hobby/ interest on my CV) like it usually does, it can sometimes cut the ice when I get to talk about that.  I didn't need it though today.  Still, I'll say though that from this interview I haven't got the job, I don't find out for sure until 2 weeks time, but if I say to myself (after the interview) that I don't think I have the job, then at least I'm not devastated or feeling like I had hopes shattered because I didn't get it.  I think the interview went well though, could've gone better, but interviews never go as scripted.  I didn't kiss ass, but I was interested about what was said and asked some questions, hopefully that got me plus points.  How could I not be interested though…the job pays a minimum of 16,000k, and at my level of expertise and stuff, that's good, plus it's for British Aerospace, they make military aircraft…sure wars suck, but huge expensive fighter planes…they're pretty cool, and apparently they come by at least 3 times a day…so it's something cool to see.

Anyway, I got home, un-winded a little, had Super Noodles (Ham& Cheese flvr) on Toast, with some Bacos sprinkled on top (…I'm not sure if I like Baco's or Schwarz's Bacon Bits better).  Set up a new 1 month Gold Trial Profile on my 360 set it up as USA so that I could get the 2 free games USA get over LIVE (Aegis Wing and Yaris).  I'm so jealous of the all the TV content and how further up-to-date the US XBOX LIVE is in terms of movies too.  I might try and get some US XBLA points at some point so that I can get some Aqua Teen Hunger Force gamer pics, as well as maybe getting some TV shows downloaded to my XBOX, some HD quality eps of South Park perhaps.  I nearly forgot to mention I purchizzled the legendary 'Duke Nuked 3D' which came out on XBOX Live Arcade today, been saving 800points for that (well…I saved the points since Saturday) but I've anticipated the games release since it was announced, only got to play it for about 5mins so far, I played a deathmatch online…and I came 3rd of 4 of us (twas my first go and the map was just a circle), the game's retro "doom-clone" feel is intact, might try and get some co-op of the story mode tonight in before my GF gets off work.

Whilst speaking of LIVE arcade though, I also want to get Mega Man 9, Vigilante 8, Banjo Kazooie, the upcoming South Park XBLA game, and there's something I'm forgetting too I know it…:p  Those things are spaced out enough to make them affordable though (even though I'm jobless as of Friday).  I've been getting a lot more fun for my cash out of XBLA (downloaded arcade games) recently than I have actually retail games, and at £25-50 a game…I haven't had the cash to splash out on such things recently…where as just over £15 can net me between 3 to 5 games (price depending), and some of the games recently have been super awesome.

Went Skateboarding last night too.  Went Solo as my skate buddy Brad didn't get back to me.  Bet he wishes he had done now as last night was cool, the weather was perfect for it, and!...and! Big achievement for me, I landed my first 180 ollies, I managed about 3 of them successfully, a load of near misses, and I tired myself out in the process.  I also wasn't too far off nailing a pop shuv it.  For a while now I've just been skating around, trying to improve my ollies, and only recently have I felt the confidence to try 180 ollies and pop shuv its without fearing a nasty bail.  I really could do with a new board I reckon as the one I have (although a pro board by Blind) I've had it ages, my wheels are bare, each of my board is chipped and sanded down a little, my trucks aren't what they once were and my grip tape is nowhere near as good as my mate Brads brand new set up feels.

Also, something to ponder over that could be serious.  This morning after I went out for my job interview…my GF was at home, watching Sex in the City on DVD (she doesn't have work until 3pm today thanks to her crazy ever changing shifts), anyway...to the serious point.

She heard (or at least she believes she heard) the front door open, to which she thought it had to be me, back very early from interview, then seconds after she heard the door shut, and then the doorbell rang.  She answered the door, puzzled, and it was some guy (she said he looked foreign and about late 30's-40), she said he had some name badge on and a clip board, and said he was here to do a meter reading (for our electricity).  He asked if there was another meter inside our house, to which my GF told him "no".   She asked him who he works for and he said he represents a number of companies and named pretty much all of the electric companies apparently. He then said he was here for (an address ranging between both our neighbours, and asked where one of the numbers was), she didn't know the answer, and he just went.  He didn't get in a car apparently, he just walked off.

Now…heres the 2 ways of looking at this.

1)     Criminal bastard.  He poses as a meter reader (with his basic stick on name badge and a clip board, and goes around trying to get into peoples houses to steal stuff).  This has happened numerous times in the UK…mostly to old people (it's been in the news).  He came to our house, tried the door…it opened, he listens, he hears the tv on…then backs off, and tries the bell to cover the fact he just opened a door to a vacant home he has no right to be in.  The door is answered, he sees that someone is in, and that he ain't getting away with shit…he stutters around with his fake pre-rehearsed lines he has prepared to back up his "meter reader" persona, then proceeds to get away before my gf can alert anyone about the dodgy bastard being around.

2)     Real guy, just awkward.        He is actually a meter reader, he came to our door, saw the box outside but it was locked, perhaps peered through the glass in our door and got the idea it wasn't actually the door into our house (we do live in flats after all), perhaps he thought it was a reception area between our house and our neighbours and that him coming into it wouldn't seem like a weird thing to be doing.  He opens the door, here's a TV on and realises his mistake, shuts door, goes outside and rings the doorbell, asks his questions, says his bit, realises there is no meter indoors (I haven't personally had a look to find out if our meter is indoors or not :p) and maybe he's just a contractor, maybe he doesn't represent our electricity supplier officially, he might just be from an agency that electric companies get people from to do a quick job of it, if he can't get results somewhere then he'll go back to the company, and they might then send an official guy round.  I have no idea how this whole thing works.

At first I was in disbelief when my GF told me this story, I couldn't get my head round how cocky this mofo had been to just open the door, in future it will always be locked I know that for sure.  This was tame, what if some prick with a weapon or whatever had of just barged in and done a quick snatch and grab and made a runner.  I feel were we live now is relatively crime free and safe in comparison with a number of other areas in Preston, but you can never let your guard down too much.  Anyway, as I sat down and tried to get my head around this…that's when I came up with how it might of possibly been misconceived and how it could've been innocent, both stories are possible but I feel really pissed off at the cocky prick for doing so as I have more belief in it being theory number 1.  If I was in when this happened he would've got a major fuss, if I had been there to assess and click on to whats going on I would've got into a fight for sure.  You just can not let that shit go on.

Anyway guys, I'm gonna kill this blog for now.  I'll highlight the above in a different colour and put up a title that is likely to get more page views, because I really wanna get peoples opinions on this.  Did a theft attempt get dodged, or what?

            Until next time…Laterz

Hey! Hey!... What is up my readers!?

First off, it's Friday.  Instant win there (unless you work weekends, then I'm sorry for teasing you with the joy of a weekend).  The weathers lookin pretty grey…so I expect a good bit of rain here today, hopefully the weekend will be alright though, as I'd like to get some skateboarding in.

Anyway lets get to it.  Today I have already decided that I'm going to make a change, what change you ask?  Well I've decided now that if I wake up an hour or whatever before I'm meant to be up because I need to pee…I'm going to pee.  Recently I've been just been holding it in, and trying to fight off the need to pee until I actually needed to get up.  I'm in bed to sleep…I don't give myself much time for sleeping during the week so when I am woken up just because I need to pee, well, I'm not having it.  Sometimes though, it can take me up to a good 10mins to get back to sleep when I'm so desperate, so that sucks, but I just hate the fact that my sleep was interrupted so close to it's finish line or set completion (that being my alarm clock).  At weekends this doesn't phase me, if I need to pee…I'll pee.  Today though (a workday), I woke up at 7.05am cause my GF was getting something from a cupboard…this probably wouldn't normally wake me, but I may well of been in a light sleep cause of behind the scenes pee urges, I woke up…first thing I noticed was that it must not be time to get up cause my gf is still here (shes at work before I'm awake when she's on an early shift), then I realise I need to pee, about a 7/10 on the I need to pee scale, I could fight it…but it's too much effort, so I just hopped up, zombie walked to the bathroom, pee'd, then hopped back in bed.  Stupidly I then started to think about getting back to sleep (a rookie mistake for an insomniac), and hence the thinking of going to sleep and how much time left I had for sleeping…that made it take like 10mins to get to sleep.  However I'll put that down as a 1 off, I felt good after the peeing, so even if I did lose a few mins of sleep…the time I had to sleep was more relaxed than it would've been if I was curled up with the duvet between my legs trying to make the pee needs go away.

So enough about morning peeing, although now I could talk about afternoon pee-ing, cause I'm chain-drinkin cups of tea today, and tea makes you pee.  Enough on that though.  As I write this I am hoping that a video I have sent uploading to YouTube (set it off before I went to work today), will be done.  It's a caraoke video mostly, but in case that doesn't float peoples boats I've chucked in some classic footage I had from 2004.  It's after "the end", it's me using Radox bubble bath as mouthwash, I also have a lil video of me skating into something in the hallway of our house in 2004, I think there was a glass on it and hopefully you can hear on the video that my dumbass self didn't notice it when I put a camera there…and ended up smashing glass and giving myself a clean up job to do.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=serSorGEVaU <--Video link

In future I'll probably try and add things to all my videos, just to broaden the target audience, some people might find my vids worth watching, but others won't…that's how we are.  I forgot how sweet it is to have videos floating around youtube though, it's always a smile raiser to see that I have YouTube video comments.  I get them all the time, but not so much from the videos of me.  It's mostly from the videos I've made from video games.  I did some careful editing of a situation in Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64 which made the windmill guy in that game look like he was jackin off.  It's amusing to see for those who've played the game before, I got 2 videos of him from the game doing it, it's a YouTube gem it seems.  I also have a video which I have no frickin idea why it's so popular, but it's a video from me having a car chase in Driver: Parallel Lines for the PS2.  It's not even that good imo…but at the time it was 1 of the first videos on YouTube of that game so I understood its popularity at first, but I still get comments to this day, I don't understand it, imo it's just a gameplay video of a regular chase in the game, a game that everyone was over with by the summer of 2005 or 2006 (whenever it came out), but YouTube can immortalise things I guess, thus why it's nice to have some videos on there.

I don't really wanna talk about work in this blog so I won't do, but I do have a job interview lined up for next Wednesday that I'm looking forward too.  Don't wanna jinx it though, so enough on that.

Hopefully I'll get out to see Tropic Thunder this weekend, first Ben Stiller film in a while as far as I can remember, I saw Heartbreak Kid at the cinema (twice) last year, once with my friend Mossy, once with my gf and some of her pals.  I wouldn't rate it mega high on my favourite Ben Stiller films, but it's something I may as well have in the DVD collection.  Tropic Thunder looks pretty cool though, and Ben Stiller works well when he's playing outrageous characters (like in Zoolander and Dodgeball), similar to Will Ferrell.  First film I remember knowing Ben Stiller from is Happy Gilmore, in fact it may well be the first film I saw Adam Sandler in.  Ah a trip down movie memory lane... I love movie trivia though, one of them things that secretly interest me.

Sometimes I can find myself on
IMDB for a while just checking out trivia and goofs, the message boards, and just getting linked form page to page by clicking on different actor/ actresses pages and seeing what they've done and branching off onto other actor/ actresses.  It's never something I put time aside to do, sometimes when I'm at my pc and I'm on IMDB for whatever reason…it can just happen if I haven't got anything else planned to do.  Sometimes I give films a miss based on IMDB scores too, although the site is very harsh on some things (it's just a public vote system so it's the gathered opinion of thousands) but there have been countless times when I've mentioned to my gf something had a bad IMDB score, she made me watch it, and at the end we both feel like we wasted time watching the crap that IMDB had already told us was crap.  Anything that has less than 5 is usually definitely worth avoiding though, although people will all have there own personal exceptions.  I'm sure the Police Academy films (or some of them) will have less than 5 for there rating, but personally I like the series…it's nostalgic, and the characters are a hoot.
*hums police academy theme in head*

I need to drop a bit o' cash on the GF's presents today, still can't say what I'm getting in case she reads this, but I've got 1 thing so far, and 2 things I intend to pay for today/ tomorrow.  1 is an item that is a novelty but also useful, 1 is something she needs and has been wanting me to take her out so she can get one, and the other is something she saw on TV that she wants.  I'm pretty sure she'll enjoy the presents, which is good.  So far I've not really had much of a struggle to gift up my GF on such an occasion which is good, just gotta keep listenin to conversation and take hints…that's probably an advantage of a relationship where not only are you serious but you also get a long like best friends, cause we talk…she tells me about petty things that interest and obviously I know of her main interests.  So as well as making notes of what she says she wants/ needs in the build up to "gift occasion", I can also pull ideas from things she likes.

Plan in advance, make a few mental notes, win at gift giving.

With that I bid you good day for now.  I'll try and get another blog up at the weekend, failing that I'll upski another one on Monday.  Hope the video was worth your time (7 mins of it), took ages to re-encode and upload its 40megabyte ass to YouTube.

Adios Amigos.  Less pee talk next time, I promise.

[This should've gone out on Wednesday 17th but myspace blogs was down]

As mentioned....I split a blog in 2 again.

1 part happy, and this part not so.

 Here's the cut out...

[split]

I'm bored out of my mind at work today, systems are going slower than it takes old people to use an ATM/ cash machine, my stupid optical mouse is glitching about and making me click buttons next to buttons I actually want to click, and I'm just a bit irritable today.  I need something funny to happen, like the time when the security guy tooked his shirt into his turquoise undies rather than his pants, so he had his briefs on show like he was gangster (and this is a 60+ year old, grey haired white guy I'm talking about).  I have to shoot off on my lunch today to post a game I sold on eBay, wish I had a new cd in my car too, normally it takes me ages to get bored of a cd cause usually I do an mp3 cd which can hold about 150 songs, but now I have an 18 track cd I made that is slowly turning 18 good songs into 18 "fuck no, skip to next track" songs, maybe I'll put the radio on for once in a while…

Only 7 working days left for me after today at this job.  As worried and nervous as I should be in regards to the pending 'having no cash, bills need payin, and no income' woe, I'm not that scared.  I'm rather numb to it, I'm nothing special in terms of what I can do, what my qualifications are, or my work experience.  I'm just a regular guy, trying to make ends meet, I want to go to uni next year and upgrade my qualifications and maybe lead me somewhere, but for now I just gotta get a job and get paid.  I'm not taking anything though…I have standards, not that high, but I'm not working retail or call centre, I just need some mediocre office job.  Hopefully one that's livelier and more fulfilling than the one I have now.  I swear, my motivation for this job died a long time ago.  I even told my boss this, I gave her an idea to let certain people doing repetitive mundane tasks all day (like I end up doing most days) have the ability to listen to ipods etc whilst they work.  One time when my boss was off I brought my ipod in and listened to it all day whilst logging CV's and completing peoples reference requests, I know for a fact that this day was my most productive day, as I checked what I had done and I'd set myself a personal best that day, the day went by quickly without any negativity, and as it came to the end of the day…I get an e-mail off one of the "managers" telling me it's against the company policy and I should no better etc…

This irritated me big time that I didn't get told to my face by her, so I gave her a piece of my mind back.  I didn't necessarily give her shit, I just put my views across as to why what I did was good, and how a lot of people on my level agree with the fact that we should be able to listen to music.  Didn't get a reply back from her, just got another telling off from my own manager saying I should email managers with such things and how she disagrees with my suggestion and that it wouldn't help people perform better.  ….sure.

I really really hate these corporations with there phoney baloney chain of commands that make certain people think they're some sort of respectable authority.  I especially hate people with fake manager/ supervisor titles who take that shit to the head.  Some people here are so two faced, it's just sad to say what a pathetic person they've become, sure most people will be much cooler out of the work place, but since when does that mean you have to be such a dick in the workplace?

After I got shot down for the iPod thing and getting little warnings for things that the person who is warning me is a bigger offender of (I got caught sending 2 texts one time by the person that has constantly got her head down texting), she told me off…by e-mail, and not only this she CC'd my boss into this so she could think less of me also.  Shit like that further dented my like for this place, and with all the seating plan changes, stopping any sort of occasional happy conversations about guitar hero or anti-chav debates happening.  Getting stripped of fun to do responsibilities due to stupid re-structuring of teams, and with re-structuring comes new "managers" wanting to say there piece and try to boss people about.  So much has happened to make me want out of this place for a long time.

The only thing fun nowadays is the cynical view that me and some co-workers have on others here.  Sort of like how in that film "Shaun of the Dead" when Shaun and Ed are in a pub and Ed is trying to cheer up Shaun by telling stories he's made up of the random people sat about in the pub.  Well…some of us here do that for others here, it's creative, it's funny but yes it's a tad bit shady…but what else is there.

  At work we have:

The Penguin.  Seriously "The Penguin" a trademark of Batman, we have a woman manager who looks like The Penguin from Batman.  She is also evil, and a complete twat…so she suits the villain name perfectly.  I pity her husband though if she's married…how the hell anyone could love that face makes me queasy.

Thunder Woman.  This woman who is a bit of a side show attraction, she's about 50 something, and has hair like she been hit by lightning, and continues to condition it with battery acid, she walks like a lego man, and has a face that would scare children and adults alike.  She also dresses really fucked up for her age too, she sometimes wears these baby blue silky pyjama looking pants that are very very tight on her…I've referenced it to being as if she thinks she is "Sandy" from Grease.  It is a fucked up sight and I will use my time not working here to try and delete the memory of her and other weirdos like her from this place out of my mind.

The He/She person, she's about 7 foot, has big hands, has a deep voice (coughs like a dude), and when you picture her with a short back and sides haircut you can see the man she was.  It started off as just a mere comment, but now it's as if you see certain things she does in a manly way, or just seeing her seem to be pretending to be a woman.  The evidence just keeps piling up on that one.

Smackhead, constantly tired, falling asleep at her desk, eats crap yet is really boney, looks like she's on drugs, sometimes rocks around and does weird chewing motions with her mouth when she's got nothing to eat.  I didn't even notice this at first but now I've been shown the light I am astounded other people haven't said this about her either.

There's a few more but I can't be assed making my blog into a list of these weirdos.

Obviously these bickerings are a backstage/ behind the scenes type thing, I'm not and no one else is actually as cruel to go ahead and say these things to these people (although sometimes they deserve to have it said to them when they're being complete assholes to people), but it just goes to show how crap the place is that it's turned people that don't really indulge in back talking into doing it, just for fun.  They say Weed and Beer are things that can lead people with underlying mental problems to lose it, but I say that if I worked here for another year I'd probably lose it, and I know others that think the same thing about this place, and there are clearly people here that have been here too long and are just freaks of society nowadays.  It may seem hypocritical to say things about people when I was just saying how so many people here are two faced, but these people that I don't like here…I don't pal upto them or even fake laugh at there jokes.  I do feel like a prick to be babbling crap about these randoms on a blog, but seriously if you were here and you saw them, you would see clearly why things are said.  This isn't like those teen comedies where you have bitches making comments about geeks, this is regular 'nothin special' people chitter chatterin about full on weirdos.

….anyway! As I was saying…this place ripped the motivation out of me, so I'm kind of looking forward to being shut off in the job scene, having to make something else happen quick, and then starting fresh, I know I can do this worse than this place (god help me no!!!) but I can see it being better, there are some cool funky people here, but they're few and far between in a sea of weirdos and people that have been here too long and are just boring furniture.

Sorry if this blog has gotten a little on the boring or petty side of things with my work rant, but like I've said in the past…sometimes I just have to say it and get it out in these things so that I don't keep going over myself with each blog being an anti-work thing.  I'll move onto other things….

[split]

End of the anti-work rant I had for blogging today.

[Would've put this up yesterday but myspace blogs was down]

Hey Hey

Wednesday 17th September 2008.

Myspace blog number 83

Seems weird to think how long I've been putting these out now, sure there have been some gaps a long the way, but it's been over 2 years now I think.  Which isn't that long…but it's still quite a while.  I consider any period of time that I didn't have at least neck length hair to be a long time ago now…as I can't even remember what it feels like to have short hair anymore…but enough on that.

I did have written here about the fact of how my blog is failing to deliver in terms of pics or vids, however!!! Seeing as how the myspace blog's service is down…I'm having to hold onto this and post it up tonight when I get home.  So whilst I'm home I can enhance things…woo.  Anyway, onto the blog…

Also note that I did have 1 blog written, but cause I kind of went off on one about work, I decided to split things again like I had done last week.  Basically this blog is more about my life and random shizzle, where as the other one is just about work, the fact I'm soon to be out of work, how much I dislike my work, and how it's the fact of how much I dislike work that's making me look positive towards being forced out and onwards to somewhere new.

I can't believe I'm not too far away from having done 100 of these things now (blogs), which is quite crazy.  I won't be stopping there though, recently having seen some friends are blogging and stuff, it just kinda inspired me to get back into it in full swing, it's sort of like a hobby now I guess.  Maybe it should be around about that time that I move things from myspace to something more neutral.  Although I kind of like to be able to do super uncensored blogs that I can hide from anyone not on my myspace friends list from time to time…don't know how I would do that elsewhere with the same level of control over who see's.

First up to a magical change I have found within my GF.  She is so pro-actively keeping things tidy around our house and has done a super awesome job of moving a load of her shit (clothes, shoes, junk that is sentimental) from the spare room and has organised her cupboard and drawers and everything.  She's gone from *Oscar the Grouch trashcan style living to Monica from friends super clean. (*some exaggeration may have been used).  I'm not a super clean freak or anything, but I do like things to be tidy and to be able to find things…I don't look for things to clean or anything like that, nor do I enjoy the cleaning part.  I just like a tidy room, and my gf was just one of those people that had a super untidy room, clothes everywhere, and wouldn't get around to putting things back in there place for a while.  Slowly my requests for her to tidy her stuff up have perhaps changed her…perhaps, however I think its more likely that she couldn't find a lot of things she wanted, it annoyed her, and now that she has her stuff where she wants it, and it's all neat and tidy…she see's the positives too it.  I don't want to say too much and jinx it.

Watched Shawshank Redemption for the first time in a while last night (in fact it's the 2nd time I've ever seen it), it's such an awesome film.  We also got round to watching the rest of Iron Man, I look forward to the sequel with that, however I thought the end battle with his nemesis went a bit easily.  The Dark Knight is definitely the best Comic book to film adaptation this year (and in recent years…maybe even the best comic book film EVER), but Iron Man has good potential to be a decent movie series I reckon, just as Spiderman currently is.

Not played my xbox in a few days…as my 360's own blog will tell you.  2 games I'm after getting on that right now though are "Pure" (ATV racing game) and "NHL09" (Ice hockey).  There's quite a few decent things in store for October/ November on 360 too, but without a job I won't be indulging in that, however…I have a backlog of games I've still not even put in my 360 for the first time yet.  Not played on my Wii much in a while either, occasional game on Smash Bros, or occasionally for Mario Kart Wii if the right people are round to play it in 4 player, tried to better myself on Wii Fit snowboarding last week after my GF was done playing it, but after a break from playing it…I suck.  I'm thinking of getting Samba Di Amigo for Wii (rhymthm game) but I'm disappointed with the IGN review knockin it down on the control side of things…as that's the core of the game right there.  I was hoping it'd be something funky and fun to whip out during drinking sessions at our house…guess I'll have to read more into it to see if it's worth getting.

As I write this I've received a text off the GF telling me about some WWE thing that's coming to butlins or one of those cheap holiday camp places.  To which I replied with how it must be one of those fake groups that imitate WWE performers and trademarks for cheap shows, I've seen WWE live on 2 occasions, cost me like £55 for a ticket, and it was sold out awesomeness.  I can't see them scraping around a butlins for a week if you catch my drift.  So I told my GF this and then she shot back with how I "ruin everything" apparently, see I now know she was secretly wanting to get me to take her for a weekend away, she's been at me to do that for ages, I really am up for doing it, but I'd just much rather do something like that abroad, but I need to renew my passport, so until I do that I can't go abroad nowhere.  She's up for me taking her to any small time local UK thing and I ought to give in and just do some crappy weekend away over here, but I just never get round to saving and when cash is in front of me, it's a case of getting rid of it before it gets rid of itself pretty much.  I don't appreciate the threats though, I asked her to be patient and she said that's running out…like she means If I don't take here anywhere then we're through?  I don't think she means it THAT serious, but still…it has me nervous.  Maybe I should text her back and say "woah woah woah…wait a minute, I'm STILL waiting for you to take me away for a weekend first", but I highly doubt she would live up to "Destiny's Child - Independent woman" idea and be ok with that.  Heh :p

            Equality my ass…

My hair smells awesome today btw *takes picture of self at desk*, Morrisons are doing a half price offer on Herbal Essences Fruit fusions (if that's what its called) shampoo & conditioners, I got the Coconut & Hibiscus ones, usually I use Alberto Balsam Apple shampoo & conditioners, but I'm a sucker for a good supermarket offer.  Also, can I just add that when I say Shampoo & Conditioners…I mean them as separate, remember in the 90s when 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioners were all the rage?...well nowadays theres not so many of them.  So I'm using 2 separate bottles…k.  Also, guys…how often are we meant to change the blades on a razor?  At Christmas I got a Gillette Quattro or whatever the orange branded packaging razors and gel are…it's nearly October and I still haven't changed the blade.  It's like £8 for 3 of them though so maybe I'll wait till Christmas in hopes of another razor present.  I thought by now the blade would have rusted or that I would of rubbed off all that little green gel that is there for whatever reason, but no…no rust, and theres still some gel left.  I do know I don't get the closest shave anymore…but I get a decent enough trim.  I buy womens disposable razors to do the pube zone, not sure what brand though…but I was told womens razors are stronger than mens razors cause womens leg hair is stubborn stuff….or something like that, so naturally I don't use my Gillette razor on my face and pubes.   Right ok, I feel like I'm drunk or high or something now because I seem to be daydreaming and writing about it.

  Enough!

Adios people, expect another blog within a few days.

Short one this.  Not got long left on my lunch...although I use the term "lunch" to describe what people would call the hour long break I'm having from work.  Not lunch as in eating....cause I've already walked over to the near by supermarket (Asda) for some food, only to pat my pockets and realise I left my wallet at home.

So...I had a Cornetto for breakfast (about 9:05am), and I won't be eating till 6pm (and that'll just be junk until I have some dinner made).  Self inflicted Ramdam right here...although this is temporary, sorry for those that are on it...I don't want to tease too much about the lack of restrictions I have on my life.

Anyway...last night I strolled down to Odeon and watched Pineapple Express, with my 'gf' Laura and my 'f' Mossy.  Did something beforehand which I'll leave to imaginations.  Then watched the film.

Anyway, I'll jump to a score outta 10 and I'll give it an 8.4/10.  Some may say thats harsh, some may say generous, but it was a really good film (imo).  Comparing it to other films in it's genre is hard, because these weed films all go there own way...and if they didn't they deserve to be panned for being too similar when there is a lot of potential to do whatever you want with a random story.
Pineapple Express though...as much as it is a stoner film, it doesn't use unbelievable situations to charm the "lol" out of you.  It's a story that could happen (maybe), and so theres things to relate too...rather than the crazy antics in the likes of Harold & Kumar which would just never happen (but it's funny to see those guys in those situations so thats why that film works).  Anyway, Seth Rogen and James Franco play there roles really well.  Seth Rogen isn't so much different to a lot of the other characters he plays so if you dont like him in those, you probably won't like him in this...but the main characters work well together, so when you bring in a lot of diverse supporting roles around them, you get added goodness.  Anyway, I won't pretend to be a movie critic and I will cut this off here as I'm in a rush, but if you liked the likes of Superbad, Knocked Up, Harold & Kumar, Grandma's Boy... then go check it out.

I would personally say it was better than Step Bros (which I mentioned in my last blog), so if you have to choose between the 2...then stop being a wuss, get out more, and go see both whilst there on.

Heh, but seriously, I'd say Pineapple Express is better than Step Bros on the whole, but both are good DVD collection additions if you happen to collect DVDs too.

Hopefully I'll go out and see Tropic Thunder this weekend too, so I'll add that to a blog somewhere.

Sorry for the lack or other things to mention in this blog.  Although...just to break that rule, I'll briefly mention that it's raining outside right now (quite well too) and I'm staring at a car, a car with it's window open.  Shame its the passenger side (unless its a car share deal and come home time they'll both realise the passenger was a dumbass and got the car soaked), however either way the car will soaked inside...and someone will be unhappy with that, but hey...Shit happens.

Aloha guys and gals...

Tis Monday and I be blogging (to no surprise).

First off, majorly sorry that I haven't kept with recent tradition of supplying pictures and videos to this blog.  I'm on my lunch at work so not able to upload anything, plus I didn't photo or video anything over the weekend as far as I remember.

As for my weekend, Friday night just pretty much chilled out at home, watched that 70s show with my GF and had some awesome food whipped up by my GF (mashed potatoes, turkey, beef, carrots & peas, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy), that filled me up to the point of it being uncomfortable to do anything…but it was so awesome.

Saturday I drove my GF to her friends house (in another town) as she was staying there for a friends Birthday party.  I came home and spent the afternoon sat in my boxers playing on my 360 pretty much.  Tidied up the house, got dressed, ate pizza, then my friend Mossy (Drew) came round, we went to see "Step Bros" at the cinema.  Twas hella funny, it started sort of slow I thought…but it picked up and it was great, definitely a future addition to my DVD collection.

Tonight I am possibly going to see "Pineapple Express" to which I have high hopes for it being lol-tastic, I expect that to better "Step Bros" as a film on the whole, but I don't want to take away from Step Bros greatness.  After seeing "Don't mess with the Zohan" I was kinda nervous about Step Bros being one of those films that has too much of it's best "lol" stuff being in the trailers, cause I felt with Zohan that some of the good moments had been dampened by the fact that I had seen them numerous times in numerous trailers.  I'm not saying Zohan was bad though, Happy Madison will definitely get there cut off a DVD sale out of me.  However I just think Step Bros had a lot of funny stuff in it that wasn't in the trailers, and the film as a whole just had a weird but believable story (in the sense that the scenario could happen in real life) that they made a lot of funny-ness out of..

Pineapple Express (although its edited for the UK screening) should be hella funny, not just because it's a "weed" comedy (and I like a lot of that genre), but also because Seth Rogen stars, and although some may disagree, I think the guy is funny.  Trailers look good, but they leave a lot of gaps where plot and comedy will no doubt fit in (so it wont suffer from having given too much away), so I'm looking forward to it and I'll upski my thoughts onto here when I have seen it.

Anyway, back to the weekend…Sunday I didn't really do much, played some xbox, watched some TV, ate Chinese, and watched about ¾ of Iron Man, but me and Laura were both real tired so just decided to watch the rest tomorrow as it was getting to a point where you couldn't really enjoy the film cause you was too busy trying to stay awake.

So…that leaves me with today, I for once (on a weekday) got near enough the recommended 8 hours sleep.  I didn't get to have breakfast at home before work today because I was in a rush (as always), but I did have a cornetto (which makes for a good breakfast imo).  Last week I had found out that my contract at my current job was to be extended till December, taking away my urgency to get another job sorted, and today I have found out that that was a mistake and that my contract isn't actually getting extended.  So now I'm left with 9 working days left here after today.  I'm not going to fret just yet though, I've been onto my agency about getting something fresh lined up, and I'll get texting to my mum to see if my dad needs any work done at his place.  I'll also have to do some job hunting this week.  I'll worry more on that some other time though, I hate blogging about that sort of thing unless it's the only thing on my mind.

I got Guitar Hero DS last week for a mere £12 in an awesomely ace Morrisons (supermarket) sale.  Played a bit of it and it's hella cool for a portable Guitar Hero fix.  Got another copy which I have said I'll sell to a friend, but I'm quite tempted to eBay it and get £30 for it there (as I'm probably going to need the money soon if things are going to shiz as of next Friday).

Need to do some researching on the internet to get some presents a 'comin for my GF's birthday too which is at the end of the month.  I got things in mind already for that though…but I don't want to share on here incase my GF did actually ever read one of my blogs :p.  (She thinks the fact that I blog is lame).

I also need to start playing the lottery…just for the chance to get a wad of cash, I just had a daydream in my head of being filthy rich, being in a helicopter with some friends, flying over my current works building, and peeing on it and some cars in the car park.  Ah…to live the dream.

Anyway, before I bail…I want to add that I am thinking of taking my blogs off of myspace sometime this year, seeing as the kuso site MySql database is kind of up shiz creek, rather than trying to play with all that to get all the little bugs out, I may just scrap the site entirely.  Then just use kusohappens.com as my own blog site, and put some other stuff on there too maybe.  It's not final, and your voice will be heard if you disagree.  If I was to put my blog on there though, I don't know what I'd use to manage it though, I could either build some simple but useful site, and just tally up a load of pages with old blogs in, or…I could use one of those word press things, or something of that nature.  I'd have to look into it.

            More to come this week...

Thanks for checkin out my blog…below find some videos to jazz up the text heavy page of blog.

Whats crackin blog reader people?

I think I stirred up some interest by having "bonus video" in the title of my other blog.  I've rallied up quite a number of blog hits this week...and I only put my doublt blog thing up like 2 days ago or whatever it was now.
Lacking in the comments department though...so I don't know if I got good publicity  or negative .

Still...I promised earlier in my weeks bloggings that I would uploadizzle some Sea Life and "etc" pictures.  Theres not really much to show really...didn't take too money (wish I got a pic of the crab I held).
...but here's something below to gaze at.

Also here's a cool Bob Marley Wall-Rug I got whilst in Blackpool

Here's a pic of a pic of a friends (hire) car after he got rammed off the motorway, rolled a few times before hitting a tree.
..

and here's my latest YouTube upload.
A collection of me and my mate Brads amateur-est skating antics, mostly a collection of bails, so don't judge too hastily.

[Dark]

So...my 2 days off are over, and...well...

I'll start off by saying I didn't accomplish as much as I'd of liked to.  The main reason I said to myself that I would take 2 days off work was so that I would be able to do some job searching during the day, and also go to the doctors for just a general check up and to maybe get a mole or 2 removed cause I get super suspicious about moles since I once came across a skin cancer / mole article on the internet.

Well…I DID do some job searching, my CV is floating around out there, I've directly applied to maybe 4 jobs (at current), and I'm not sure how many agencies are working with me, but I've been in contact with a couple that have said they'll keep me in mind for stuff that comes up (whether they will or not I don't know), but I hope so.  I have (after today) 12 working days of employment left with this job…then it's onto the next chapter of work.  Seeing as I haven't been super organised about this (I should've been looking for work about a month ago really…not leaving it so 'last minute') I currently have no idea what I'm going to do next.  I'm hoping for some regular admin-esque type job for now.  My intentions are to start uni after next summer, but in the meantime with moving out this year…it's just been about bringing money in really.  My gf works, and she's at uni…but normally when she worked part time and was at uni (before summer break came and she started to work full time) she doesn't end up with that much cash to last her the month (which is what being a student is like), but because I have more bills to tend to than my gf (car insurance, patrolling my car, and other petty things), I think I'd be scraping by even worse than she is.  So I'd need to save up before I made the switch from full time work, to juggling part time work and Uni.

Right now though, I'm worried…and I don't like it.  I feel under pressure, I feel nervous, I feel like I'm in some room surrounded by doors…but none of them are open, and unless I get out of this metaphorical room I'm in then some bad things will happen.  As in…If I don't get a job soon, and I have a period of unemployment…then all these bills I have to pay (rent most importantly), then wtf do I do?  *takes deep breathe*.  My girlfriend has kinda been nagging and having her say about what I need to be doing and stuff, kinda pisses me off a tad that she's been undermining me and not having faith in what I've actually done, but I know she means it for the best and just wants us not to have any sort of financial problems.  I try and act like it's all good and it'll figure out…but I don't know that, I just don't want her to be worrying like I am.

I need to get onto more agencies to try and get them to help me, as much as it's kinda lame to be a temp, and that the pay and perks aren't as good as the full time folk get at the places I end up working, they do pay alright, they pay weekly so you have money in your pocket…and they are quicker at getting you into a job than the usual application processes can be.

I don't suppose any of my local folk who have a peep at this blog know of any alright office vacancies going at the moment do you?

I'll have to put in another 20mins at least as well as applying to at least 1 job, or get onto at least 1 agency today.  2 weeks is plenty of time to get me a new job secured…it's just the taking time off to do interviews and stuff which will be a little bit harder to do as it might not always be possible, and without interviews I won't be getting another job.

For the first time in a while last night I laid awake in bed with trouble sleeping.  Just laying there not being able to switch off cause my mind was actively processing thoughts, mostly worry about the future, with doubts about my self worth, shit like that…really REALLY bums me out.  If that carries up I'll head towards depression and I much much prefer to be joyful and happy in life.   I need a hug, I need to know it'll be ok...

Anyway…enough crybabying.  I'm gonna use the rest of my lunch break to e-mail my current agency and get them back into helping me out.

If you read this, thanks…it does actually irritate me sometimes to put out such whiny crap in a blog…but that's life ya know.  Sometimes I go back and read my blogs and it's good to see problems I've overcome and laugh at things that turned out to be not worth worrying about.  So it's just good to get stuff out into the open sometimes.

I'll have some more videos up and some pics soon, expect them in my next blog maybe, and if you've not read my other blog I put out today, then why?!  I deem that to be much more fun to read.  It even has a video…a stupid video, but a video non-the-less.

Laterz peeps

Hey yo people!..:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O />

Wednesday 10th Sept, and the weather is great
 -"Get the fuck out!"

No seriously…the weather today is really nice, it was one of those days where even though I choose to stay up till 3am playing Xbox, I woke up this morning, the curtains where lit up, informing me that outside it's bright, and as I got up and wandered about my place and glanced out the windows, the bad things were irrelevant for a moment, the weather was telling me that today is a day to just smile and not fret.

Anyway, didn't have intentions of doing 2 blogs, but I've ended up with a lot to say, a big chunk of it is about worries and doubts, so I've put that into the other blog, this one…is more about happiness and shizzle.

[Light]

So…my 2 days off work are over, my 4 day weekend is behind me, and as disappointing as that is…I had a good time, so it's all good.

I went to the Sea Life centre on Saturday, had a few laughs in there, saw some cool things, I held a crab and stroked a star fish.  Got a sharks tooth necklace (I've had about 4 of these in my life now…I don't know what draws me to them), and one of those grabbing things (usually like a hand or head on a stick, where you hold it you have a lever you pull, and it makes the hand grab or the mouth on the head close…), the one I got is appropriately a sharks head.  I couldn't pass the opportunity to have one they bring simple joy, like a slinky.

We also played some Bingo (in the Coral Island Arcade) whilst out in Blackpool, and I got lucky…I won us enough cred to get us a kitchen knife set, and this pretty cool breakfast set thing (some bowls, dishes and cups on a rack).  Not bad considering I only spent £3 playing.  I also got screwed over trying to get Patrick Star in one of those crane/ grabbing/ ufo catcher (whatever you call them) machines.  Spent about £4 on that…trying to grab something that was clearly to heavy for the thing (rape!).  The arcade and bingo action was followed by some Pizza Hut, which was better than I expected,  don't rate Pizza Hut that high due to the awesomness you can get at Frankie & Benny's and other places, but it was good.  After that we drove down the illuminations, which was hell.  It took about 2 hours, I had to pee in a diet coke w/ cherry bottle along the way (probably the most fun of the illuminations trip).  The thing is, we went to see them last year and nothing at all had changed since then…except the traffic this time was 100 times worse.

The illuminations for those not in the know are basically a bunch of decorative lights they put up along a massive stretch of road in Blackpool.  In the old days they were good, nowadays they're pretty crappy, loads of bulbs have gone, some things look really dirty, it's just not as bright and colourful as it used to be (unless that was just my childhood impressions of it making it seem better than it actually was back then).  Anyway…I'm definitely not going for another few years or so that's for sure, and next time I want to be a drunk passenger, not dealing with the massive traffic queues and having to dodge horse shit with my car.  That aside though…it was a quality day out for us both.

On Sunday, I went skateboarding for the first time in about 2 months, finally my friend brad has his own board so we could actually skate around and stuff.  As SOON as we went outside it started raining…and within about 5 mins of us skating it got really really bad.  It was absolutely shizzing it down, puddles kept forming on top of our grip tapes, and the ground was soaked.  I bailed off an ollie on a speed bump and fell onto my back into a deepish puddle.  I was soaked, didn't let it stop us though…we fought it and had a laugh.  Eventually went to the back of a Halfords (cycle/ car store), found an old crate and practiced board slides on it, it was so wet though…we both fell off a few times trying that, then we went to the back of a bed store and we made a little ramp out of some old signs they'd chucked away.  My old board and the wetness caused me to suck balls at doing anything on the sign ramp, I had no grip…but to be honest it was funny to try even if I did bail.  In the end we played HORSE on it, simple stuff, just had to go up the ramp, turn around…and come back down, seriously…even some of you that don't skate probably could've done it (on brads board)…mine, with my wheels that have done many a powerslides, and been through a lot of sand and stupid terrain, and will be about 7 years old next month…it just wasn't happening.  Brad won horse (I didn't even give him a letter).  I'll have to get a video up of one of my bails…its not one you'll go "ooooh" at, its just one that is dumb and could raise a smile.
After we'd put about 2 hours + into skating around, falling over, and getting soaked.  Me and brad went to mine, got dry…and watched some Skate vids.

Showed him "Almost – Cheese & Crackers" starring Daewon Song and Chris Haslam, then we watched Flip - Sorry.  Never seen the latter before, was good stuff.

Monday and Tuesday I just dabbled in a bit of job hunting and xbox 360, pretty much.

Uploaded a video from March to youtube yesterday of me singing along "Caraoke Stylee" to American Hi-Fi - Flavor of the Weak.

Hope this embeds right...

If it hasn't then click >>here<<

Bout time I got some videos and pics into my blog.  I'll be adding some pics from Sea Life to my next blog no doubt, and just some general other pics I have to share I guess.  I miss the days of me dazzling my blogs with pictorials and stuff...more entertaining to read when you have pictures to go along with stuff I think.
So from now on I shall try and do so.

Anyway...I'm gonna have to call this blog over for now.

See Part 2 "[Dark]" if you want a less happy story filled blog.  Doesn't link to this blog anyway, so it's not mandatory or anything...I just had to write some things down for me, just to get it out of me and into a blog.

  See ya later masturbators

I'm on a cloud...Not a happy cloud, like some sort of OMG I've just won 10,000 [insert currency you would like to win here].

No.  I'm on a "I'm not what you'd call sober...I've got my life experiences in one pocket, and my historic music collection in another (iPod)".  I'm also still drinking...as if I'm a science project, to see how much my ear drums/ brain (hella ipod plus senheiser headphones) and liver (hello Weiser of Buds and Absolut vodka).  Although...my mood is happy.

So it's 2:02 am at the time of writing, I'm here...sat here (my ass is a bit numb...been here for a while now tbh), with my budweiser, on some cheap stolen drink coaster, to my left, my ipod fckn blastin my ears, some absolut to my right...and the internet attached to my fingers and eyes.  Good stuff right?

....well yeah, it is.  I love the internet, me and "it" have been friends for a good 9 years now (I call 1999 as the year me and the internet really took off as an item).  I also have some fuckin class songs on my ipod, but I will say that...because its my ipod, its my music collection....the songs mean something to me, whether it be emotional, sentimental, comedic, or just to liven spirit...whatever I deem that particular songs duty as, either way...its got on there, and Its got me tappin my foot, bobbin my head and toastin beers to specific musical artists.

It's right now (paragraph 3) that I realise I'm actually quite quite mega drunk....like, way beyond "hey...i could still make it into work tomorrow if i went to bed now".  No my friend...no I couldn't, so thank fuck I took mon and tue off.  With the power invested in me and my "holiday hours", I've got a 4 day weekend...and this is the friday night of it right now (although its sunday to you).  Anyway I wanna share the story of my happy weekend.  If you're interested enough (and dare I say lucky enough....you had to be considered to be a myspace friend after all), and you saw my myspace blog that I made private from a few weeks back, then let me just say that the topic of my that is involved in this mellow awesome weekend.

...but to a more direct, wider audience, basically it's been a case of Saturday being a day of me and my girl, and Sunday being a day of me, a close friend, a hobby, a past, my girl, and the present day.

Saturday me and my girl had a cool day of hitting up the Sea Life Centre (where the private blog from a few weeks back comes in), as well as the illuminations (a well lit up, overhyped stretch of road), it was cool to see some sharks in real life.  I held a crab in my hands, and I stroked a star fish.  I also got one of those lazy boy grabby things (its a shark tip), so I can reach about 70cm further than normal with it for some comedic grabbings.  I also got one of those cliche-ish shark tooth necklaces, but as touristy as they seem to some, to others they're actually a cool treasure.  The tooth of a bad ass sea creature...around my neck.  I don't need no fckn gold (as pirate as I am), I just need sentimental crap.  No gold bracelets...I'm past that shit...I want wrist beads....I don't need to wipe you after being in water, I don't need to hide you behind my sleeve to protect me from being a mugging target...I wear you, I enjoy your colour, your feel, your reason.

Madonna- "You know that we are living in a material world

And I am a material girl"

To the above...I have to unfortunately say I am a bit materialistic, I love my games consoles, my tv, my iPod....probably cause they can take me so far away to whatever the real world is beating me with, but in display...I don't want to be giving off the impression I care too much, cause at the end of the day I don't....if I could trade every cool thing I own to just be able to say that I have at least a few friends that would give up what there doing to hang out and have a laugh and get away from there own problems too...then I likely would do.  Unfortunately as blessed as I am with good friends...I know and have felt alone at times because of it that sometimes, there just is no one there when you need them.  So those occasions have made me take love for posessions, cause they have no purpose but to be there and do what they're meant to do.

Shit though...I've gone well off topic I think...I rememer a bit a got I was talking briefly about the Sea Life Centre.  There I had a hella cool time with Laura (my gf...to those who arent clued up).
Today though...I slept, then hung out home alone (as my gf was out with her mate), and then went skateboarding with a mate (Brad) although let me name drop the fact that Me, Laura and Brad played a few levels on Castle Crashers on XBOX 360 before me and brad went out skating.

Anyway, went out skating....first time in a while...first time in about 6 years that I've gone out skating with Brad with us both owning skateboards...and it was cool.  Just skating around, 1 of us choosing to lead, but not feeling like a leader, just heading in a direction, both of us doing our own thing from different things...both of us making different discoveries on a generic urban landscape and turning it into something playful to try and look cool on.  We found ourselves all over the place, and at 1 point outside the warehouse area of a bed shop, stealing crates from bins to practice grinds on, knocking over massive signs they had chucked away for sales they no longer have going on....it was great.  Apart from the fact it was absolutely shitting it down with rain.

Now...my skate skills are weak in comparison to those who may read this with skate expereience.  I'm still on the stages of perfecting my ollies and such.  Well, I can ollie somewhat consistently, so to the untrained eye I can look funky on my board, but to those familiar and can do more...I feel nervous around you (unless I know you in real life), cause I dont want you to judge me as a n00b...I want you to assist me, help me learn more...help me progress....skateboarding isnt about showing off (well sometimes it is), but mostly its about having fun, and being creative with what you've got available to you.  Anyway it was pissing it down so basically my grip tape wasnt helping me at all stay firmly held to my board....which made some simple pushes on the board a bit more challenging than normal (probs down to the fact my skateboard is quite old), but it meant things were more down to luck than skill sometimes.  I've been nudgin Brad (the only other mate I hang with frequently thats into skating enough to have a... or... want to skateboard), and now he has one...so its so much fun just skating around and stuff, before it would be us having tries and turns on my board), and although neither of us had mega confidence this day, I gave everything a shot today, and put more into things than I have in previous sessions, I feel like I got some good grinding experience, REALLY REALLY wish it was a dry day though, as I could've maybe done a lot of cool starter things right for the first time, but between us both we both managed to say "F*** You" to the weather, and skated on even though it got to the points of it being more of a "dare to skate" rather than some fun.  We had puddles of water instantly gathering in the middle of our skateboards in the rain, the ground was so slippy, and shoes and griptape couldnt hang....it was bad in theory, but we had a great day.

The key to the above is basically an age old tale of having a great day doing one of the things that link you and that friend as buddies together.  In this case it was skateboarding.

After the skating today it was me and Laura watching 'That 70s show', and having smiles together...so its been a nice night.  I hope my other 2 days off continue this.  I'll definitely write more on this as I really like being able to record days, thoughts, experiences etc in the form of a blog.  Whether you (hypothetical readers) come in and take in my walls of text or not....everynow and then I crack open a blog of mine, filter through it, and remember things that were hazy until the re-read.  I can go back to bad days, think of how today isnt as bad, and other such benefits.

As always, I really REALLY appreciate you who comment me, I know I can go on a bit too much at times, and maybe I'm repetitive, but I love you taking your time to read my blogs...and would really be into reading some stories of yours...so if your a blog reader of mine and do the same thing...unpaid...on your own free will, just to share your days happenings etc, then link me up in the comments or whatever.  I'll give you the same time you have given me, I appreciate the reads I get...my numbers are way higher than what I reckon I deserve, but I've heard from others that they love my ramblings...and I have enjoyed other peoples blogs too so I'm always looking for something funky to sink my internet readings time into.

Anywho, as I see it now...I'm near blackout stage in drunkness, I know as soon as I sit up from this pc chair, and give my fingers a rest from this keyboard, that I will be overwhelmed with instability, immobility, and just your everyday drunk effects.  Anywho whos come in drunk and hit up there msn messenger, or maybe just drunk with friends, or even upset and drinking alone....you'll probably know that somehow you can get an overwhelming sense of familiarity and soberness from using a pc...sometimes it can seem overly easy and you turn out the next day to of been way too drunk and typed a bunch of jibberish.

Enjoy your next extended weekend folks....whether you take a day off work, or whether it be when your next national holiday permits you a longer weekend.  Just enjoy it.  Spend a great day with your love.  Spend a great day with a friend.  Have some "you" time.  Smile about your life, fuck your problems, and strengthen the things that mean the most to you.  For me it's the relationship with my girl and my friends (both old and new...I dont want to ever lose or miss a good friend or good conversation).

Farewell for now guys and gals.
Kermit...out.
