I just had a blast doing a radio interview with 96 Kix FM D.J. Kimberly Kaye! Yep, she and I have the same name, how cool is that? here's the link: 96 Kix FM

It's been a busy, BUSY beginning of summer for me! I've recently contracted five books with Harlequin, and am one busy chic, but, I'm not complaining.  I'm currently writing two books, one is a single title, 'Wild Fire', the other is a novella titled 'Chocolate Truffles' which will be in a Holiday anthology along with fantastic authors Beverly Jenkins and Adrianne Byrd.

Time to get offline and back to writing!

I'm extremely happy to announce that, Auctioned; An Invitation Erotic Odyssey sold as an alternate selection to Black Expressions Book Club!!

As an aside, I've been woefully absent from myspace, as well as answering some emails because of back to back deadlines, but, if you want to see what I'm up to, normally just having fun on facebook, come look me up on facebook under Kimberly Kaye Terry and we can be pals there

I'm going back to my writers cave to finish up edits on a new paranormal erotic romance I'm writing, and preparing for the Romantic Times BookLovers Convention in Orlando, Florida next week! I wanted to send out a sincere thank you to those of you who’ve either
signed my guestbook on my website, sent me messages through facebook
and myspace, or sent me one of the many wonderful emails to my website
email address, concerning Auctioned; An Invitation Erotic Odyssey.


I know that some of my readers were surprised that Auctioned wasn't my
normal romantic erotic romance. Some were not as open to it, perhaps
wishing it were a true romance. Thankfully those seem to be fewer than
the overwhelming number of my readers who embraced Auctioned and are
now spreading the word to their friends and book clubs about it and a
few have invited me to come to their chapter meetings as a guest.


Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.


Auctioned was my first erotic, non-romantic book, although ultimately
there was an underlying romance, and was, by far, my most emotionally
draining book to write. The journey of my heroine, Chase, was one that
was at times as difficult to write as it ultimately was liberating for
me to pen. Chase was a woman who allowed her emotionally crippling past
to shape who she became as an adult. In writing this character, I
understand that many women have dealt with some of the abusive issues
as a child as my fictional character did. And survived. They grew
stronger despite it all and didn't allow the pain of their past to
defeat them and claim their present or future.


To those of you who have suffered abuse, any type of abuse, and
overcome it to become strong women, I salute you. You are not alone.

Auctioned, An Invitation Erotic Odyssey, receives a perfect 5/5 rating and top shelf review from the good folks at Urban Reviews *huge smile*

Chase Davidson has always been an overachiever and a workaholic.
Chase has tried to overcome her childhood pain by always being in control and attempting to be "number 1." But when Chase is passed over for a promotion that she feels she deserves, she is devastated. Chase decides to accept a mysterious invitation to an island that promises to fulfill her every desire. She is soon treated to some hedonistic pleasure but will she learn to give up some control in her quest to be number one?

Auctioned is a seductively pleasing novella by Kimberly Kaye Terry. The author gives a story that is the perfect mix of eroticism and emotional drama. Readers will see right away just how twisted Chase's control issues are, especially when it comes to sex. You will see how Chase has to step outside of her comfort zone in order to get what she needs to learn on the island. Terry showed her strength as an author by having Chase confront her traumatic childhood demons in order to move forward in her adult life.

This novella also has some very vivid sex scenes that added the right touch to this novella. Fans of Terry's previous titles should be forewarned that this story is not romance, but a true erotica novella. So if you are a fan of romance but not erotica, then this book is not for you. Auctioned is deliciously addictive and will definitely leave you satisfied.
