Hey All,

The more curious of Kineheads out there may have already found it, but our new album, Kites, is now available on iTunes and a myriad of other online music retailers (Rhapsody,Amazon, Napster etc etc). Sorry we took so long to tell you, but we've been attempting to nail down an album launch show for some time and no cigar as yet ....we just can't wait any longer, so here's the album for your listening pleasure!

In the meantime, we have a few other shows on the schedule, all of which will feature a bunch of tunes from Kites. The next one is this coming Wednesday at the Evelyn in Fitzroy; it's early and it's free!

Promotion has never been our forte, but when all is said and done, the best way to keep up with kinehappenings is to join the Punters Club on the Kinematic website ... you'll not only get emails from us tellling you about shows and stuff, you'll also get access to a members only section of the website that has exclusive content, including rare audio and video and even some silly Kinetrivia. The Punters Club is a work in progress but we plan to add a load of other exclusive stuff in the future, so why not sign up?

So that's all for now. Thanks,  once again, for listening.

Kinematic, x

Hi there Kineheads,

Your help is required.

Kinematic’s new single ‘5 O’Clock High’ is in a band competition tonight on MMM in Sydney. Amazing, huh?

Listen in on www.triplem.com.au/sydney/player (or 104.9 FM in Sydney town) at 8.30pm and vote for us ... just SMS 'Kinematic' to 1999 1049 when prompted.

If we win we’ll get another spin in tomorrow night’s comp – a great airplay opportunity for us, so we appreciate your support!

Allo all,

Looking forward to joining our pals From the Ashes this Friday in the Espy's Gershwin Room to help them launch their debut album 'Incendiary'.

We're first band up at 9pm sharp, so if you're planning on coming down to watch us warm up for our launches next week, let us know so we can arrange to meet you with a discounted presale ticket at $10 - otherwise you'll be paying $14 at the door.

Be great to see you there.

Cheers, Kinematic x

How would you like a sneak peek at one of the tunes from our upcoming album?

Well, our pal Ros (director of the Carnivale video) has made the finals of a short film competition, and she's used a short version of our song "Already Here" as the soundtrack of her excellent film titled "What you Leave Behind".

Visit the site below, click on "Vote & Win", then click the film title to view.

www.drinkingnightmarefilms.com.au

The competition is running for the next week or so and the film with the most votes wins the day.  We'd love to help Ros win it, and it's for a good cause so why not vote for it while you're there?  There's even a $5K prize for one lucky voter and you can vote once a day.

That's all for now, but there'll be more news on the album, gigs and the website really soon.  Til then ...

Cheers,
Kinematic

Hey all!
Happy New Year and all that bizzo ...
Our first Melbourne show for the year sees us return to the legendary Esplanade Hotel - we ain't played there in years, so come celebrate the possibility that the Kine gospel may be catching on south of the river.
We are playing with the exceptional Gabriel Lynch - we're not saying that just because he gave us the gig, he really is very very good. For more info check Gabriel out here.
Entry is free.

Happy holidays everyone,

Have a great Christmas & New Years...
Next year will be a busy one for us; a new album and plenty of gigs.... we might even fit in a tour or two.

If you're in Melbourne over summer, we'll be doing a free show at the Espy with The Gabriel Lynch Band on Thursday 15th of January.

We'll also be playing down the coast in Rye on the 3rd of Jan at Baha, and on the foreshore on Australia Day afternoon  ... a nice way to spend summer.

And if that's not enough, we're also partaking in a Sunday Sixpack at the Tote on Feb 1st...

Enjoy your holidays and we'll catch you next year!

Kinematic xx
