Enter, Rucyl, amazing producer and visionary. She turned us onto Sarah White sometime last year. As fate would have it, she had Rucyl remix her underground hit I Wanna Be With You. We loved it so much that, we had to release it.

Every once in a while, something happens that just makes perfect sense. So, when the amazing creators of PilferedMagazine, asked me to guest edit their premier issue, it made perfect sense. I love beauty in all of its forms, especially visually. The magazine is an online magazine where people submit photos that have been found on the web. It really dope. So there were hundreds of submissions and I was the one to chose, but the public voted on the cover! Such a cool concept. Anyway, enough babbling.

Now, we have a real treat here! I have been a longtime friend of Jazzy Jeff, and an even longer time fan. Seeing him rock block parties and high school dances with Will. Anyhow, I never knew he was a cool 'nerd' like me when it comes to software and gadgets.

Jeff as a producer is crazy with it. He has that ear. He was an avid Logic Audio user, but lately, he has crossed over to the dj friendly Ableton Live. I asked Jeff what he used to make this amazing album, My Fav's, and he said, "All I used was Ableton. You know Im a hardcore Logic user, but im officially now converted. There's nothing I CAN'T do in Ableton."

So enjoy the album. Play it, live it, love it!

A few years back, Sony did a project of remixes for Isley Brothers. I was commissioned to do Footsteps in the Dark, which was one of my favorite songs. Anyhow, my mix didnt get accepted but I am providing it here for you. I think Sony wanted more hip hop versions. I remember ?estluv in the studio when i did this. He was freaking out.
