Countdown to Pride!
Attention all Queer & Allied Youth: Want to meet new people and kick off Pride weekend in style?
If so, join us at Lambert House for Summer of Love: A Queer youth Pride Celebration- Open House, BBQ and Dance Party! This Saturday, June 27th.
From Noon-6PM, enjoy music, good conversation, and arts and crafts workshops!
12-3PM: BANNER MAKING- take part in creating Lambert House’s new banner with sewing and designing! Be sure to march with Lambert House on Sunday to show off your skills.
2-5PM BUTTON-MAKING: Wear your art, make a statement or both with Shannon from Sex, Dating and Relationships!
2-5PM: TIE DYE- Bring your own t shirt or use one of ours to create psychedelic, awesome threads! Rock them in the parade the next day!
3:30-5:30PM: KNITTING!- Lambert House’s own volunteer Michael will introduce you to the trendy craft of knitting. Bring your favorite knitting needles and yarn if you have some!
Get your pride parade outfit ready with buttons, tie dye, glitter cowboy hats, and more!
From 6-8PM, Enjoy a BBQ and Live Music featuring guitarist Ziggy and other notable guests.
The Fun Continues with a DANCE PARTY from 8-Midnight. Dance the night away and enjoy decadent desserts! DJ General Meow of Bromance will be spinning all night!

When: Saturday, February 14th
(That's Valentine's/Single's Awareness day)
Why: Because it's important to mingle with the queer youth of the city!
Also, this dance is put on by Lambert House, which means that it is a substance free event.

The party is sure to have lots of dancing, a DJ, food, old fashion zombie movies and a Beauty Pageant for your fabulous costumes! (winners get fab prizes) Of course, the event is totally free and open to anyone 22 and under! So come show your support by dancing and partying the night away with other HallowQueens & Queers!

Attention! Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) members, LGBT youth, and youth allies of Washington State! Do you want to celebrate the end of the year with others interested in a safer school? What about learning about resources while having fun? What about being able to dance with a same sex or opposite sex partner in peace? Yes? Well then we have the event for you! Who: Youth, 22 and Under What: LGBTA friendly dance with LIVE music! When: May 31st, 8 pm to Midnight Where: 18560 First Ave NE, Spartan Gym in the north east corner of the Shoreline Center. Why: To strengthen the LGBT and allied youth community. Also to provide a drug free, and anti-violence event for youth. Lastly, to have fun! How: Carpool and drive or take the 358, 346, or 348 to the Shoreline Center! More information at: http://www.myspace.com/shorelinepinkprom This is a drug free and anti-violence event. Organizers include: Shorecrest GSA, Shoreline Community College, Lambert House (a queer youth drop in center), and King County Community Organizing and other GSAs around the state.
