I installed the sliding screen door set for the french doors in the back room. Go Ms. Fix-it!

In other news, poor Satan had to work until 4am this morning moving his store from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor so they can remodel the 1st floor space. This morning he was complaining that his feet felt like hamburger, so we broke out the foot bath I got him for Christmas. And wackiness ensued....check out my videos!

Look what I can do! *pirouettes*  I'm teaching myself to knit (thanks for the book, Mee). Here's my first knitted FO. My powers combined, I am Captain Planet! No, now I'm just able to make yarn into stuff in TWO (count 'em) ways.

Didn't want to post this before I sent him off to his new home, but I made Pooh here a couple of weeks ago for my cousin's new baby...

He has a Piglet buddy, too, but I didn't get a pic of him before I packed them up. Pooh is pretty big, like 18" tall sitting, and he has a great big cute round butt according to my sister. Piglet is slightly smaller, 15" or so. They're both from a Leisure Arts Disney Home pattern book. Satan was sad Pooh was not for us to keep, so I might have to make an Eeyore to appease him. 

Or spending too much time in the dining room making a clay mess? Guess which one I spent the last week doing?

Back from Maryland. 17 or so hours in the car = 1 finished sweater.  It took 6 skeins of worsted weight yarn at 240 yards each. It's probably a size 16 or 18 women's. The stiches across my chest pull apart enough so I have to wear a shirt because you can see through. I probably should have made it a little bigger in that area. And the neck is no longer noticably v-shaped because of the way it fits across my shoulders, it's wider than it is deep. So I should've gone for the deeper v pattern change in retrospect. But I'm quite pleased for my first attempt. It's fits me well and it's comfy, so I'll definately wear it.

I'm off for a weekend roadtrip tomorrow night. I'm bringing my sweet sweater with me, so hopefully I'll have finished when I get back. Not much left to do, just sleeves and neck edging!

I've arrived at the waist ribbing now. I decided to do two FPhdc and one BPhdc for the ribbing, instead of one front and one back as in the template.

Here's the part where I just stitch round and round until it's long enough. Current status is midway between my chest and belly button. Let's welcome our fabulous guest sweater model, throw pillow from the couch!
