Whatup myspace peeps! Just a brief note to say hey to you all and let you know, if you didn't already, that I have moved back to Nashville, started my own company and am loving it! I'd like to take a moment to introduce you to my client, Kari Jobe, who I am now managing. Kari serves as worship pastor at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas and has an incredible passion to lead people into the presence of God through worship. Kari's new album will release February 10, 2009 and you'll be hearing much more about her in the coming weeks and months. You can hear her brand new single "I'm Singing" on her website, as well as her myspace and facebook pages. For those of you who Twitter, you can also follow her on Twitter. Here's a video of her leading "Revelation Song". Check her out!

if you haven't heard the news yet, the legengary Isaac Hayes passed away today. As I read the reports of his death online, I also reminisced about the time our paths crossed and I met the musical legend in 2003. Read all about it in my new blog at the gideon chronicles.

i think it's very important that we don't just see Christ as "a" healer, but as "my" healer. it is very personal. sure, he is both… but for me to be able to see him as being that personally available to me changes the way i will pursue and grab ahold of him… because he is my healer. that's really dope if you think about it. do you believe he is a healer or do you believe he is your healer? check out my new blog at the gideon chronicles

In case you missed the big "Idol Gives Back" American Idol special tonight... here’s what you missed... And if you did indeed see it... your eyes and ears did not deceive you... The AI top 8 contestants, clad in all white and backed by a gospel choir and the So You Think You Think You Can Dance dancers, singing - of all things - Shout To The Lord amid a flurry of white confetti. Sure, they said "shepherd" instead of "Jesus", but as my girl Toya pointed out, they were still singing "Shout to the LORD all the earth let us sing, power and majesty, praise to the KING..." It was quite a moment... and God was just OPENLY praised before millions upon millions on what will probably be one of hte most watched nights of television this year. I have no idea how this song got picked to be the finale song, of all the possible songs they could have chosen, but they chose it, and praise God for it! For some GREAT commentary on what happened tonight, my man Ivan’s blog!

If you’re not already hip to Improv Everywhere, let me help you out.. Improv Everywhere causes scenes of chaos and joy in public places. Created in August of 2001 by Charlie Todd, Improv Everywhere has executed over 70 missions involving thousands of undercover agents. The group is based in New York City. This mission: The Food Court Musical... 16 agents create a spontaneous musical in a food court in a Los Angeles mall. Using wireless microphones and the mall’s PA system, both their voices and the music was amplified throughout the food court. All cameras were hidden behind two-way mirrors and other concealed structures.
This is one of over 70 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past six years in New York City. Others include Frozen Grand Central, the Best Buy uniform prank, and the famous U2 Rooftop Hoax, to name a few. Song by Scott Brown and Anthony King. Arranged by Jamie Laboz
I don’t know what’s better... the actual randomness itself or the reactions of the oblivious and unsuspecting onlookers. I LOVE this stuff!!!!
I think my favorite reaction in this one is the lady at the counter when the girl starts singing about lemonade!!!! HILARIOUS!!!!!
