Hello everyone!!!
Some very exciting things are happening for
The Haun Solo Project so i thought i'd drop you a quick note to let you know!
First of all,
True Blood! Sooooo... our guitar player,
Sarah Carter, was on
episode 2 of this season, season 2, with her other band
Rocket!!
The episode is called "Get This Party Started" and Rocket is the back
up band for the Christian rock singer chick. it's pretty funny... and
kinda wrong actually... in a good way. But wait there's more!!! I,
Lindsey Haun, will be on the
last 2 episodes of the season! well actually, technically, 3. We shot about 3 weeks ago and it was amazing! I
LOVE Alan Ball and the directors i got to work with,
Michael Cuesta and
Daniel Minahan!
The crew was so incredibly nice and professional and hard working. What
a treat to be on that set! I can't tell you much because i don't want
to give the story away but i can tell you that i play
Hadley Hale, Sookie Stackhouse's (
Anna Paquin) cousin. I got to work with
Stephan Moyer,
Alexander Skarsgard, and drum roll please...
Evan Rachel Wood.
i can't tell you who she plays but i can tell you that she's awesome!
They're all awesome! Anyway, i really want to work with all of them
again so please watch the show and tell them that you want me on it
more! lol!
The Haun Solo Project now has a
YouTube Channel! We have
live video from our last couple of shows that fans have taken in our "
Favorites"
section, we will upload messages to you guys, some funny videos from
rehearsal, music videos, and we're even gonna throw in some of our
favorite video's of fans singing our songs. We are very excited about
it and i hope you guys will enjoy it as much as we do!
We finally gave in and are now on
Twitter
(insert embarrassed smilie-face here). It's gonna be crazy because the
whole band can log in and update the status! I apologize in advance for
the silly nothings we might come up with!
We are also finally getting a lock out!!!!! This i am super excited
about. I wish I could tell you who we are right next to... but i
can't!! Oh my gosh, i am so excited tho! we can do anything we want to
the room, play loudly into the wee hours of the morning or just listen
through the wall to
the band that must not be mentioned!! We are sharing the space with our sister artist, and my best friend,
Sarah Ault! I know i've said it about 50 times already, but i am so excited!
Um... so.. dbo bought a tour buss?!?! so... i guess... we're gonna
have to start touring soon... since dbo got an effing TOUR BUSS!!! it's
freaking awesome! i don't know how he did it, i'm not asking questions,
he's a magic man, and now we have a TOUR BUSS!!!! So, if you have any
places on the west coast (sorry easterners and midwesterners we'll get to you soon) that
you would love to see us play at, please let us know!!!!!
Also, as always, we are keeping up our
every third Wednesday at The Cat Club residency with
Sarah Ault,
Soul Cloud, and
Tori Roze and The Hot Mess!
this month we are playing July 15th! The show starts at 9 with Tori and
she's awesome! you need to see her! I've attached the flyer so you can
print it out, show it to our door guy, and get in for $5 instead of $8!
On further inspection, i guess this wasn't actually a 'short note'
but thank you for reading and keeping up with us! thank you for all
your support. we're in the studio now and we will have things for you
