I came knowing it was the District of Columbia.
I came knowing it was the Death Capital.
I came knowing it was the Dark City.
I'm happy to know it is now the District of Change.

Your result for The Merchant Mariner Test... The Merchant Mariner Congradulations! You have scored high marks on seafaring know how. You know a bowline from a clover hitch and a tug from a small boat. This probably means that you are a mariner of some sort; Navy, Coast Guard or grew up/live in a maritime family. You may also come from a nation that prides its self on producing mariners. You are a member of a small group where everybody knows everybody and the good 'ol boy/girl network is still intact. While things are changing in the industry, you know that some things never will. I hope you enjoyed the test. For some additional reading start with the Jones Act. well, what can I say???? 7 was being 7 last night, fo sho!
The COW (club on wheels) was a fun way to get to and from the Rainbow Room. You know, for a "Rainbow Room" there sure weren't that many rainbows around---not counting live ones.
Pre-party was awesome!
But, the meat of the action the best times where had dancing like a mania with whoever (Sara(h) you're funs!) and doing what 7's do best---meeting new peeps.
Now, for my favorite highlights:
The Drag Queen said to some girl: "You have the biggest tits in the room" (no way! I thought) then she stands up and he's asking her "how big?" and she replies 44DD. OH HELL NO. So I march my happy ass up there (poor mel...totally stopped whatever we were talking bouts) and all stealth like, get a foot from the queen and say "I'm bigger." (HAD to represent.) "How big?" 40DDD. Booyah. Then he got the other girl to do a jumping jack. Okay, for one, she was not wearing a properly fitting bra (most women don't, source, jcp.com) and lord knows those things were bouncing. Me...no "side straddle hop" (hooah!) b/c I was busting a gut and then got my ass out of that situation.
Later that night, some "blady" that shall remain nameless made sure they are that big.
Second fav happening: The beer. I mean. Honestly, it was awesome. Standing at attention for Bucket to get the round :-) and then later getting not one, but TWO pitchers and drinking them with straws ... until the straws wouldn't reach anymore then I just drank from the pourer part.
Oh, and no hangover...cuz I rock. :-)

As I'm sure many of you know, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It's not religiously based, I don't have to worry about buying gifts, it's not uber hot outside, the food is always good, and the company usually is too.
I really miss my family and friends in SC. There is absolutely nothing like the spread found at Hunter and Susan's...and laughing all night with J-fur, Merdit, and Edword can rarely be topped....and all of the other things found in SC that make SC special can by no means be replicated in yankee land usa, but then again, it's yankee land usa and not the buckle of the bible belt, deep south, csa.
This year I spent my favorite holiday with people I've only recently met. I HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST. I know there were points where I was on the verge on pissing my pants---well past tears in my eyes, lord knows... "it looks like a butt" and tongue wrestling, man up and dyke bar... So many moments that are unforgettable. Comedy Central is a place I look forward to visiting next year! Good times, good times.
It has been said that "friends are your chosen family"...I chose well.

Well, it's been hmmm...couple years, maybe? *dunno*....it started out with my friends giving me shit for "being 14" (remember that?)....I did that to make my page private from most to keep the stupid add requests from coming. I'm now under the impression that MySpace has added enough features to 1) make my page 'browseable' to others and 2) not be corrupted or used against me, etc.
So, I'm looking forward to fresh faces and pages; however, you'll still have to know my email to add me---so message me. (My last name won't even work!)
To old friends and future ones! Good times and new times to be had!
/cheers, -7 | ..>

It's weird. I'm back home. A place I've always loved. Born here, lived here, forced from here. Visited often. Now I'm back. it fits well.
I miss my partner in crime. I can't share my emotions because I don't know anyone well enough up here to burden or trust so it weighs heavily...
Hockey is fucking awesome. My team is bad ass and patient with my rustiness...thanks you awesome women!
I've met some really good peeps up here...courtesy of an amazing lady. ;-) Thanks sis.
VA, I don't miss you. In fact, when I have to do my time at The Pentagon I'm going to fucking commute from Maryland so I don't have to have fucking Virginia plates ever again, or a va license, or address, or your damn groceries or fucking shitty water, or your god damn high taxes for subpar housing. This goes back to my whole "JEN" rule. virGINia. Yeah. That should have been a warning.
I do miss my fellow interns. see ya 'round! move it move it!
Fun times for sure to come! Can't wait!!!

I'm well aware that I should have posted this earlier.
I've been busy.
I start my journey to Michigan in less then a week. I am three work days...but only 18 hours... of work left at Ft Eustis!
Wednesday the movers come. Thursday I drive to Pittsburgh, PA. Friday I drive to Detroit. Monday I report to my new job location.
I'll be flying to San Antonio and Charlotte to see friends and family.
My heart still lives in Boston.
All in all life is good and I can't wait to get out of Virginia!

so this guy broke my nose today.
I was in goal for my soccer team. FIRST GAME of the season...SO SO SO stoked to be back out on the field.
About, oh say, 20 minutes into the game, a ball is overkicked (beyond it's intended target) and into my box.
I yell "KEEP!!!!!!!!!" and run onto it...well, jackass preacher (he's a minister) keeps on running onto it. I get a shoulder to my head. Fall onto my right side...rollover onto my stomach almost instantaneously and next thing you know FUCK FUCK FUCK YOU BROKE MY FUCKING NOSE FUCK. Then, goal gloves on and all I set my nose back into place. Like rice krispies in my head *CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH*...and it was bleeding "like a water faucet" according to a team mate.
There's a fire station right across the road so the same teammate and coworker, Josh, runs over there, gets the firefighters...they come in a golf cart. seriously. Then they're like, we got an ambulance on the way...of course I'm like, "no, I'll drive." yeah, right. So, I didn't drive. Ambulance carts me over to the hospital where they tell me I've fractured my nose at the top but apparently set it on the field *CRUNCH*. They were going to give me morphin, but, I live by myself right now and didn't want to pass out and choke on blood, considering my nose is still (nearly 5 hours later) dripping, but then it was more profuse. ... But, Vicodin seems to be good enough.
Anywho, broken nose, chipped tooth, severe whiplash on the right side of the neck, and a strained wrist/forearm.
And the worst part. No sports for 6-8 weeks. The lax tourney in DC, cancelled. No more soccer, softball, lacrosse, or umpiring.
And even worse then that at this very moment: I CAN'T EAT SPICY FOOD FOR FEAR OF MY NOSE RUNNING.
ugh!
