MABLE GRAHM CELEBRATES 2^ND YEAR WITH RUNWAY SHOW 

New York, NY (January 29, 2008)-  Known for its "metropolitan chic" men's wear, the Mable Grahm Collection recently announced the details of its New York Fashion Week showing. The Collection's new spring line will showcase at Fairway Studios in New York's midtown Fashion District.

Established in 2006 by designer Sherrita R. Davis, the New York based Mable Grahm Collection provides a fresh perspective on the once staunch market that has recently seen a great rebirth of innovation.

"We provide classic silhouettes with unexpected details," the designer declared in a recent online interview.  The collection is all about interpreting the standards with a twist. With each season, highlighting designs that are more sophisticated the upcoming spring 2008 collection is sure to please.  The inspiration for the newest season is very "Buster Keaton in modern day SOHO".  Expect more play on proportion as well as on texture and accessories.

Mable Grahm has been featured in several national campaigns and publications including: Metro Source, Urbanology and Fashion Manuscript.

The new year has begun and I want to share more of my inspirations and insights regarding the collection with the many people that vist Mable Grahm.  Right now I am completely engulfed by music (new sounds, words and rythms).  I feel very anxious to get my new designs out there for you to see how good I feel being this inspired after having some time of  not being inspired.

About:  Rebirth! 2007: "A Renaissance Remixed" is an evening of visual art, music and culture inspired by the young influential African Americans that gave birth to the Harlem Renaissance, as well as a celebration of this cultural revival that continues to appear in the New York City community today. Utilizing the five senses of sight, sound, touch, smell and taste , the evening serves as the perfect vehicle to rediscovering the vibrancy and uniqueness of African American cultural life and all for a worthy cause. All proceeds from this event will support the charitable efforts of the New York Urban League Young Professionals.

The event will include an emerging artist fashion showcase featuring stylemakers Etu Evans, Zulema Griffin, House of Osun, Mable Grahm, Harriet's Alter Ego, JeeyunHa Designs, N Harlem , and Niiamar Felder, live musical performance by R&B rising star Esty , exquisite hors d'oeuvres, instructional wine and champagne tasting, and much more.
