I would like to thank Venus & ATPH for having me DJ all the coolest events!
Skindog Production and Melanie Ree present:
"Les Fleurs Du Mal" A Spring Fetish-Fashion-Music Ball Friday June 19th 9 pm 18+ "Venus DeMars & All The Pretty Horses" with: "Stellar Victor" | "The No-No's" | "DJ Mach FoX" | "VJ Rockula" Fashions by: "Seamstrix" | "Red Shoe Clothing" | "Golgotha" | "Gretta Herman" 9:00 pm doors - $10.00 BEDLAM THEATRE 1501 S. 6th St. - West Bank - Mpls.
here is what city pages says about event -
Les Fleures Du Mal You may have gone to some of the recent spring fashion shows like Voltage or Fashion Fight, or even to a trunk show or two. You know what your top everyday looks are going to be this summer. But what about fetish gear? The corsetry, leather, and rubber that rocked last year at Goth Prom may not pass the test at this week's Bondage-a-Go-Go. In celebration of a new, kinky tomorrow, Bedlam Theatre will host Les Fleures du Mal (which loosely translates to "evil flowers"), an evening of fetish fashion and live music. On stage will be local transgender icon Venus DeMars performing with All the Pretty Horses, punk rockers the No-No's, DJ Mach Fox, and VJ Rockula. The fashion show will include killer corsets and evening styles by Seamstrix, punk and rock threads by Red Shoe Co., and other dark fashions by Golgotha and Gretta Herman. Evil or not, these flowers are in bloom. - Jessica Armbruster

Heliotrope Six was an awesome event! ThanX to Erik and all who put this together. We had a great time playing and watching all the acts. And check out this podcast - www.myspace.com/krappslastcastKrapp’s Last ‘Cast is a podcast where we sit around and record the times we live for posterity in order to tell our older selves we didn’t fritter away our twenties on art, music, film, and booze. Originally hailing from Wisconsin, Krapp’s hosts Blaine, Charles, and Joe now live it up in the great Twin Cities and soak themselves in amazing twin cities arts scene. link to episode 30 - "Al Capone used to come in here"Jobot, Charles, Blaine, and Joe celebrate their 1 year anniversary. We discuss adventures in the Leinenkugel mansion, DJing for a hotel full of body moders, Alan Moore is a whacky guy, Steven King movies, even “alternative” papers are owned by the mass media, spider cow, Adam Corrola podcast, scat humor, magic rap battles, and the joy of breakfast joints around the city. Flaneur Productions, in association with The Ritz Theater and Radio K, is proud to present:
HELIOTROPE SIX - May 28th-29th-3oth 2009 @ The Ritz Theater345 13th Ave NE Minneapolishttp://ritztheaterfoundation.org/ Mach FoX @ 9pm Sat. May 30th 2009 visit websites for full line-up/set times and ticket info. "Saturday night will feature the multi-instrumental jazz-inflected improvisation of Aerosol Pike, the darkly danceable electro of Mach Fox, and what are sure to be raucous performances by Skoal Kodiak and Vampire Hands. The latter two bands invited audiences to rock out with them onstage at Heliotrope 5; hopefully that’ll be repeated this weekend." excerpt from TC DAILY PLANET blog - Heer commzz tha Sunnn by Justin SchellRead full article here - http://www.tcdailyplanet.net/article/2009/05/22/heer-commzz-tha-sunnn-heliotrope-festival-experimentation-required.html Heliotrope, Flaneur Productions' annual three-day exhibition of contemporary underground music, is back for its sixth year this May. We are proud to return to the Ritz Theater again this year; in our experience, the Ritz is easily among our city's all-time finest venues. The festival will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of May, and promises to be as interesting as ever this year. We have once again made an exception to our once-steadfast "all-local" rule this year to feature an appearance by Madison's great experimental folk duo Spires That In The Sunset Rise, whose recent appearance in town showed an amazing progression from their previous incarnation as a quartet. Other confirmed acts include Skoal Kodiak, Knife World, a dual percussion set by Milo Fine and Davu Seru, Vampire Hands, International Novelty Gamelan, Gay Witch Abortion, Lungs, Paul Metzger, WRONG, Moonstone, Mach FoX and many more. Surreal video montage will be ably handled throughout the weekend by the very talented Emily Kaplan, who has shown herself to be a living encyclopedia of mind-boggling imagery in past events. We are most pleased to once again find more interesting music than we could possibly fit into a three-day festival going on in town, and we hope you will enjoy the weekend as much as we will. http://www.flaneurproductions.com/www.myspace.com/heliotropefestival

'Baxandall IP feat. Mach FoX - Nu Future' Digital EP available on iTunes & other digital retailers. A 7 song collaboration with Baxandall IP(Poland) Music by Baxandall IP & Lyrics/Vocals by Mach FoX Excerpt from Oct. issue of Polish studio magazine EiS - '...Especially Nu Future - invented in cooperation with USA artist Mach FoX, is inspired with Stanislaw Lem writings. Baxandall IP still makes classic club sounds, which can be listened and downloaded in preferred quality in most of the internet shops of the Europe. Baxandall IP is one of my favourites in polish electronic underground. This duet has a good idea of creativity, eagerness and most of all – good sound. Do we need something else? New tracks present big progress with reference to older ones. The music became darker. It seems that artists are looking for fresher expression all the time, in this case applying break foundation to their new tracks. The cooperation of Baxandall IP and Mach FoX are definitely worth of discovering by listeners which love modern electronic sounds all over the globe.' 'Nu future(Alt. MiX)' can be previewed on myspace page www.myspace.com/machfox Links for EP - available on U.S. / Japan / Canada iTunes ![]()
