BLOGS (playlists) from w/c 15 June

Reluctantly (as I think it's useful info. if correct!) I shall cease annotating my playlists  with release dates for new singles/albums.

As Paul McCartney said so well (?!) ..in this ever changing world in which we live in.., release dates change so quickly for various reasons now that in many cases I can no longer guarantee their accuracy.

Even a google on the net for release dates for a particular new album, say, often produces an array of conflicting release dates. Sometimes even the paperwork enclosed with promo cds giving a release date can later change.

That's not to say data provided is never right, but it's too time consuming for me to cross-check or pin down these days.

I trust leaving release dates off my playlists from now on won't detract too much from your reading pleasure!

regards

Mark
