Earlier today Tim and I recorded new videos to add to the blog sometime next week, and now I am already thinking about the topic of the next ones. Because of Thanksgiving weekend next week, Adrienne's sister Jessica had expressed interested in doing a video. So I am hoping to do at least one while we have the equipment out to shoot her video. Currently I am thinking of doing one on the California Courts and Prop 8 because a lot of people are confused on why the courts are going to decide the fate of the Proposition. I'm not 100% on this topic, but I think I like it so far. But if you have any other suggestions feel free to send them to me!

As you may have already noticed, I have yet again changed the purpose of my MySpace page. Since the passage of Proposition 8 in California, I decided to launch a new blog on gay rights in this state. I encourage everyone to check out the blog at www.UndoHate.com, and to pay special attention to What Can I Do? page that contains instructions on how you can join the fight!

Well I am feeling much better today, but I’m not quite back at 100% yet. I have been able to get a little work done today, which is good. For me, the worst thing about being sick is not getting anything done. I love the feeling that comes from completing things, and I honestly have not spent a day doing nothing for years. Except for the past five days. This was the second worst illness I have ever had in my entire life and it kicked my ass. I hate it, and I hate that it meant I had to waste five days of my hectic life. But I always like to learn lessons. And the lesson I have learned is that I NEED to take better care of myself. I need to eat much less fast food and instead eat more fruits and vegetables.

God, I hate being sick. I have had a high fever for the past few days and it sucks. I’m not really sick as a dog any more, but I certainly was yesterday. I probably slept a total of 18 - 20 hours yesterday. I could barely get up long enough to go to safeway and get some soup, crackers, and diet 7 up. I did use the little time I was awake to write some link baited blog entries for 12DaysOfTaxes.com, but that was probably the only thing I did all day yesterday.

Ugh, so I have to do a little more work for Roni Deutch today. I don’t want to be hella far behind when I get in tomorrow. Tax season is a bitch, and I am really begining to feel over worked. Luckily I am going to start looking for my second assistant so hopefully they will be able to take some of the work load off of me. Then I can focus on business and expanding.

Well I think i’m gonna go to jamba juice. ttyl

I’m not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed that Britney did not speak in her british accent last night... The British Britney has kinda become a new thing of mine. I enjoy paying respect to Britney through use of a bad British accent. Ahh the things we do.

Well back to busy, ugh. I have been feeling kinda run down today and it’s causing me to be a little depressed. I just don’t feel like doing anything but I have so much to do.

I don’t want to offend anyone, but I don’t really like being too religious. When I celebrate holidays I like to celebrate family and love. But this year I have been so busy that I didn’t even know today was Easter until a few weeks ago. Fortunately I was able to get most of my work finished yesterday so that I could relax today. But I’ve actually been quite busy today as well. I posted a new entry on my personal blog, and I’m working on more content for the 12 Days Of Taxes project.

I usually don’t like to work on Saturdays, but my schedule was all off this week because of Easter. Luckily I got a lot of things done during the week so I wasn’t too overloaded today. But the extra work lately hasn’t left me much time for blogging.

I have been getting things quite organized though. I organized all of my business’s documents, setup project lists, and created a time tracking system. My goal is to get a business structure that can support expansion. I need to be able to properly manage dozens of projects and have multiple people working on them. But once I get that system setup I will be able to invest in better advertising and hopefully land a few more high profile clients.

Well It’s getting late so I think I’m going to get to sleep.

God, I know it's been forever since I've posted a blog on here, and even longer since I've added one to MathewGuiver.com. But it's been a very stressful couple of weeks. I've been working my ass off lately on a new project for work, 12DaysOfTaxes.com. It's an exciting viral marketing project but yesterday we pre shot all the videos and I'm so friggen glad we did. The lead up to the shoot had just been one problem after another, and has caused me so much stress. But hopefully it will all be worth it.

I need to post more blogs. Period. This was one of my new years resolutions and I want to stick with it. Plus, I am working on developing and selling an eBook and I am using content from my blog in it. So writing more for my blog will not only help promote my blog but will also provide me with direction for my eBook.

Well today was another crazy day at working for Roni Deutch. I have been really busy with work on a new project, the 12 Days Of Taxes. I know it sounds kinda goofy, but it's actually an idea I'm pretty proud of. It's keeping me so busy at work though that I'm getting kinda stressed. Luckily today went really well though, and i'm begining to feel good about this project.

Fortunately Adrienne is working extra hours this week and she's helping with a lot of the tasks I usually work on. My focus right now is trying to setup a system that will work with expansion. I'm happy working with the case load we have right now, but I want to take on additional clients. In order to do that I need to be able to handle extra work and allocate money for some paid advertisements.

Well, I need to clean my apartment so ttyl!

Boy, I've been using "wind it" in my blog titles a lot lately... oh well.

So today turned out to be an interesting day. The weather here was kinda windy and rainy today and my assistant (Adirenne) called me at about 7:30 because she couldn't handle driving in it. We tried to work a ride out but eventually I drove up to her house for us to do our work. She lives about an hour away, so picking her up and then dropping her back off wasn't an option. I know we technically shouldn't have done the work at her house, because of legal and insurance reasons, but I had not other choice. There was too much work that needed to be done and if she didn't come in I would have just had to tell my clients we were behind...

I didn't really like driving up there but the day turned out great. We got a lot of work done, and Adrienne is making great progress. I'm giving her new and different tasks in the hope that she can help train the next assistant I hire. As it stands now I think I am going to hire another part time assistant in April. I'd like to expand my staff a little so that I can increase their hours for the next high profile client I land.

Ohhh... so the point of this blog is the lesson I learned. Right now, I send all my clients a weekly update email on Sundays. And a lot of the work I talk about in the emails needs to be done on Sundays, so if something happens I'm fucked. Going forward I am going to try to have all the necessary work completed before the weekend so if something happens I won't be behind.
