I read this article this morning:
"MySpace Executes 30% Staff Reduction Today"
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/06/16/myspace-executes-30-staff-reduction-today/

turns out it's true.

Me and my wife are both pretty happy with our dell laptops. So by default I would just buy the cheapest dell I can find running a good graphics card.

So I am cleaning my office / room with my piles of clothes. I find one of my E3 loot t shirts, with a funny inky looking circle logo. They went through the expense of giving me the shirt, which I used to wear regularly. I had no idea what the company or product was.

Upon closer examination I see on the sleeve the name of the brand/product/company.

Gizmondo. The wiki article is a great read. Underworld ties, a networked hand held console, and the announcement of the Gizmondo 2.

Which will make phone calls amd run either WinMo or Android. (they should just say they will dual boot, but then I'd be sure its vaporware).

I cannot decide what I will replace my personal verizon 8830 (its port is busted and I have to pop out the battery to charge it) I don't need the blackberry exchange access for work anymore. I do love my phones keyboard, but I can live without paying as much per month as blackberry's require. I'm a partisan proponent of Android. It's pretty easy to bring an unlocked phone to ATT, and Sprint and T-Mobile are OHA members. Verizon isn't. But I like Verizon as well as any carrier, and it's cost effective to stay in my current family plan. I'm tempted to get a new windows mobile phone. I do like to be familiar with each mobile os. I didn't enjoy yhe blackjack I had though. If I was hardcore I could try to hack Android onto one. It would rock if google put out a CDMA EVDO android developer phone, and I could just bring it to Verizon.

Feature request: porting a number

I'd like to stop paying someone else just so I can continue to be reached at a number.  Grandcentral's help section on the subject:

http://www.google.com/support/grandcentral/bin/answer.py?answer=79949&topic=13497

suggests grandcentral hopes to offer this feature.  It is the feature I need before I will start using this service seriously.  I'd even be willing to pay a small amount of money for the feature, (I'm paying someone else to keep the number I'm thinking of alive currently).
