Hey Gang!

Hope you are all well.  Oh gosh I am trying to keep up with MySpace these days.  I have so switched over to Facebook.  Forgive me, Amigos.

Just did a fun show with The Gay Mafia at The Macha Theater in WeHo last Weds.  It was great fun and all were present.  Shawn Pelofsky and Roy Cruz did their stand up sets and a fun night was had by all.  We will be doing more shows there soon. This weekend (tomorrow - Sunday) I'll be at the WeHo Book Fair, reading from the book I'm featured in "Out on the Edge: America's Rebel Comics".  I can't wait!  Also, we will be answering questions from the audience and that's always fun.  If there's enough time I might do a little stand-up.

Queer On Their Feet is about to embark on a Southwestern Tour of the United States.  The venues are still being locked in but it will be in November and we are planning to hit Palm Springs, Phoenix, Tucson, and San Diego. 

Give a shout if you're out in any of these towns!  Would love to see you there.

Hey Everyone!

I kept it a secret.  So if you're a follower of mine, forgive me.  I came to NY to test out my new Stand Up and of course, visit my lovely lady friend.  Both have treated me so well.  I can hardly believe the warm reception I got in this city of cities.  First of all a big shout out to "DYKES ON MICS" at Stonewall.  Check out there myspace page.  Not only were these ladies and a gay men amazingly funny, they were smart, kind and generous to me.  To the few friends that heard about me performing there and made the trip out to support, many sincere thanks.  It warmed my heart to see you there!  Secondly, thanks to the DUPLEX and their comedy night on Monday nights.  Again, so nice to meet the people there and hear their funny.  But mostly I want to thank, JACKIE MONAHAN and JENNIE McNULTY - two of the funniest most talented stand ups in the nation - and gorgeous to boot!  If you haven't heard of them or know their comedy, friggin' google it right now.  They are awesome!  And if it wasn't for them and their gentle encouragement this trip wouldn't have come out as nicely as it has. 

I did a few interviews for HereTV's podcasts and of course, shopped, laughed, drank, absorbed and enjoyed my time in the city.  The Big Apple has been berry berry good to me!

Now, I have been a little secretive about my performances lately but now that I am on more solid ground I promise to be updating my gigs here on myspace.  I will be performing a lot in the month of October, I just have to get busy and input all the dates into my gig-list here.  Expect an update by Tuesday Oct 7th!

In the meantime, I wish you all the best and send you a big big Cuban Hug. (that may or may not mean that I grab your ass in the process.)  And farewell NYC (for now)!


PS - If you don't know about it already, my super-talented mentor and friend, MARGARET CHO is performing at RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL tonight.  She will rock you!  I'm sorry I'm gonna miss it but I know she will have a blast with you. Give her a kiss for me!!

Hey Friends -

I will be performing in Provincetown this Memorial Day weekend and then again later this summer. My friend Jennie McNulty is having me as come as a guest during her performance at The Vixen during Girl's Weekend in Provincetown (*porn guitar).

I am really looking forward to it. I will be performing some of my character pieces and also doing improv with the very very funny, Jennie McNulty (LOGO fame).

PS - By the way - still listening to Debbie Harry's new album - "Necessary Evil" - its fantastic. I heard many of the songs in person on the True Colors tour - the album in my opinion - KICKS ASS!

You guys... thank you so much for all your birthday wishes!  I do actually read all of them and am ever so touched that you take time out to say hello. 

This year I am spending my birthday quietly.  I am going out to lunch with Alexa and Rebequita (her real name is Rebecca but I like calling her Rebequita and it's stuck now) - they are taking me to a great Gay Cali-Mex restaurant where they make excellent margaritas!  For dinner I am going to my good friend Kacie's house.  She is dear to me and her newborn Stetson is a blessing!

Deb Harry is in town for the evening to do a show - Tommy, her keyboardist (who is a sweetheart) invited me to come to the concert.  If I can get Kacie and her partner in too we will do that as well or maybe I will just catch up with them afterwards.  I hope so. I made a little family on True Colors - so I am always happy to meet up with brothers & sisters again.  BTW, get Debbie's new album - "Necessary Evil" - it's good!

   Hi Folks - you know I got on this silly kick of actually doing films for our Sensuous Woman Blog.  I can't help it!  I am surrounded by people that make me laugh and my film-maker gene kicks in.

You guys - I'm so sorry it's taking me so long to keep up with this vlogging thing The last week in LA and then the week in Chicago and now NY! I have been SUPER busy. But all along, I have been taking photos and making short videos. Many of soon will make it to your computer screen in the next days.
