Humanity, fucking assholes. The no prize go's out to the skinny ass bitch who left garbage on my table. Theres a fucking garbage can not even twenty feet away from you, but it would be easier to just pick it up off of your table and put it on mine. I would love to say that i would have fucked up your face or done horrible things to you but alas, I have to be the one with class and pick the garbage that YOU left on MY table and take it to the garbage can hoping beyond hope that for some odd reason your going to learn a lesson from me showing class. Enjoy your no prize fuck face.

Just put one of the new official Nine Inch Nails videos up on my profile. Usually I'm not a fan of putting videos up on profiles, I think it looks tacky and adds to much. I just wanted other people to check out the video though. It's probably one of my favorite songs off of the new album. It's one of the songs with more pop sensibilities about it from the guitars to the beat, the end of the song is the payoff in my opinion when it breaks down into...well cultivated noise, it's absolutley fantastic. Check it out.

I pushed the button and elected him to office
He pushed the button and he dropped the bomb
You pushed the button and could watch in on the television
Those motherfuckers didn't last too long

I'm sick of hearing about the have and have not's
Have some personal accountability
The biggest problem with the way that we are doing things is
The more we let you have the less that I'll be keeping for me

Well I use to stand for something
Well I'm on my hands and knees
Turning in the god of this war
and he signs his name with a capital G

Don't give a shit about the temperature in Guatemala
Don't really see what all the fuss is about
Ain't gonna worry about no future generations
And I'm sure somebody's gonna figure it out

Don't try to tell me that some power can corrupt a person
You hadn't had enough to know what its like
Your only angry cause you wish you were in my position
Now nod your head cause you know that I'm right..alright!

Well I use to stand for something
But forgot what that could be
Theres a lot of me inside you
Maybe your afraid to see

Well I use to stand for something
Well I'm on my hands and knees
Turning in the god of this war
and he signs his name with a capital G

I just wrote a whole mother fucking post about the new Nine Inch Nails album and I don't think it posted. If it didn't then in short, go to http://www.myspace.com/nin and listen to the two new tracks from the new album year zero. Survivalism is the first radio single, very radio friendly but is also very good in that it feels like a mix between the downward spiral and the fragile. My violent heart is the second track, not radio friendly and is absolutly phenominal. A throw back to pretty hate machine and broken in my opinion. So go listen to them, like them or suffer the dire consequences.

*Josh and Colleen are the coolest people in the world, their coolness level dwarfs mine in comparison. Their immense understanding of how to be cool has brought them above this mortal plane into a higher existence of coolness Zen. They are gods among insects.

*I was obligated to cater to their vanity because they bought me cigarettes.

In all seriousness though the past couple of nights have been excellent. From  walking down to express lane to buy cigarettes, then finding a twenty on the sidewalk, to going over to Mikes and watching family guy and curb your enthusiasm and making a stoned out hippie and ukulele player feel inadequate about themselves. Its been a pretty damn good week.

I just went to visit one of my favorite gaming websites Liksang.com. I used to them to import products and games that weren't released in the us, this is what I got when I went there:

Lik-Sang.com Out of Business due to Multiple Sony Lawsuits
Tue Oct 24 2006 21:58:51 Hong Kong Time - Corporate Info

OUT OF BUSINESS NOTICE

Hong Kong, October 24th of 2006 - Lik-Sang.com, the popular gaming retailer from Hong Kong, has today announced that it is forced to close down due to multiple legal actions brought against it by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited and Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. Sony claimed that Lik-Sang infringed its trade marks, copyright and registered design rights by selling Sony PSP consoles from Asia to European customers, and have recently obtained a judgment in the High Court of London (England) rendering Lik-Sang's sales of PSP consoles unlawful.

As of today, Lik-Sang.com will not be in the position to accept any new orders and will cancel and refund all existing orders that have already been placed. Furthermore, Lik-Sang is working closely with banks and PayPal to refund any store credits held by the company, and the customer support department is taking care of any open transactions such as pending RMAs or repairs and shipping related matters. The staff of Lik-Sang will make sure that nobody will get hurt in the crossfire of this ordeal.

A Sony spokesperson declined to comment directly on the lawsuit against Lik-Sang, but recently went on to tell Gamesindustry.biz that "ultimately, we're trying to protect consumers from being sold hardware that does not conform to strict EU or UK consumer safety standards, due to voltage supply differences et cetera; is not - in PS3's case - backwards compatible with either PS1 or PS2 software; will not play European Blu-Ray movies or DVDs; and will not be covered by warranty".

Lik Sang strongly disagrees with Sony's opinion that their customers need this kind of protection and pointed out that PSP consoles shipped from Lik-Sang contained genuine Sony 100V-240V AC Adapters that carry CE and other safety marks and are compatible world wide. All PSP consoles were in conformity with all EU and UK consumer safety regulations.

Furthermore, Sony have failed to disclose to the London High Court that not only the world wide gaming community in more than 100 countries relied on Lik-Sang for their gaming needs, but also Sony Europe's very own top directors repeatedly got their Sony PSP hard or software imports in nicely packed Lik-Sang parcels with free Lik-Sang Mugs or Lik-Sang Badge Holders, starting just two days after Japan's official release, as early as 14th of December 2004 (more than nine months earlier than the legal action). The list of PSP related Sony Europe orders reads like the who's who of the videogames industry, and includes Ray Maguire (Managing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Alan Duncan (UK Marketing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Chris Sorrell (Creative Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Rob Parkin (Development Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited), just to name a few.

"Today is Sony Europe victory about PSP, tomorrow is Sony Europe's ongoing pressure about PlayStation 3. With this precedent set, next week could already be the stage for complaints from Sony America about the same thing, or from other console manufacturers about other consoles to other regions, or even from any publisher about any specific software title to any country they don't see fit. It's the beginning of the end... of the World as we know it", stated Pascal Clarysse, formerly known as the Marketing Manager of Lik-Sang.com.

"Blame it on Sony. That's the latest dark spot in their shameful track record as gaming industry leader. The Empire finally 'won', few dominating retailers from the UK probably will rejoice the news, but everybody else in the gaming world lost something today."

They were a great resource and will be dearly missed.

Or "The Man of One Million Faces". Throughout history children have been tought that on christmas a large man dressed in red with a deep laugh will bring them presents. The story origanates from the dutch legend of Sinter Klaas, as time passed on the name and story would eventually be transmuted into what we now know as Santa Claus or St. Nick. This americanized version of Clause is what I want to tackle with this post, I respect the tradition of the dutch and won't be riffing on thier aspect of him except for the afor mentioned legend.

My first issue with this "Beloved" man is the fact that...brace yourselves, HE IS NOT REAL! I understand that this may come as a shock to some of you but that is exactly my point. It's almost like an american coming of age tradition that when a child is old enough his parents will tell him that santa doesn't exist, that they have been lying to him his whole childhood (If the child isn't intelligent enough to realize that himself, like I was because I'm a fucking genius). This will crush the childs hopes and dreams. I remember telling an eleven year old kid once that santa did not exist, expecting him to laugh and take the joke he starting crying telling me how he had sort of expected it but just didn't want to believe. I destroyed this childs psyche and theres nothing I can do to fix that, I will never forgive myself.

Second point, he promotes obesity. I mean seriously look at the fucker.

Third point, there are absolutely way too many santas for it not to be a government conspiracy. They want you to believe in santa, if religion is the opium of the masses than santa is the pot. The idea of santa makes people feel good, the government realizes this and wants to keep everyone in that state of mind. Just take a look at this undeniable evidence. Here is santa standing on a street corner.

And here is another santa at the exact same time in california.

And here is a troop of little santas and big santas all in the same place!

Hence government conspiracy.

Reading some of the reviews about it and realizing how much of a beating Sofia Coppola takes in the press. Don't get me wrong, this movie is flawed, but it's still a damn good movie. Much like lost in translation, there are times when the movie gets slightly campy. In lost in translation that didn't bother me so much because the setting of the movie interested me so there was always something happening, for me anyways. Now not being a huge fan of period peices when there wasn't anything really going on in this movie I found myself losing interest, if you can get through those parts though it is well worth it. One thing I am going to clarify is this, I don't believe this is a so called chick flick. It doesn't have any of the same attributes as one and frankly in my opinion Coppola is far too tallented to create crap like a generic "chick flick". Another reason to check out the film is the soundtrack, for lack of a better term it is fucking good. I was pleasently surprised to see a couple of Aphex Twin songs on there, both of which are excellent. There is also a swedish band on there called the Radio Dept. and a great track by suixsie and the banshees. Final thoughts, if you don't go see the movie at least give it a rent and definately check out the soundtrack.
