Finally...

Jason and I ended our month and a half gym hiatus. Can't really say month and a half exercise hiatus as we walked miles upon miles when we were in Italy. We however haven't worked out since we've been back, which is almost 3 weeks now. Yikes!
We slowly eased back into our 6am routine this morning. It really feels good to have my body moving again and not feel like such a lazy bum.
Now to end my running hiatus. Just got some new shoes as my last pair have been through a marathon and then some. The new ones need to be broken in and the sooner the better as I have a race in a month....

Some wedding video...

It's 3 am and I'm home, but jet lagged so of course I'm on line....
Here is a very short clip of Jason and my little niece Xiovhan playing with flower petals. Sorry, I shot it Vertically instead of horizontally, so if you wanna watch, you gotta tilt your head to the side.
She's picked up a British accent because her teacher is English...which is quite funny since her Dad has a Dutch accent, while her mom (my cousin) has an American accent although she's never lived in the States.....
She's a cutie...we love her.

Almost home

Last night in Italy. Had such a great time. I am looking forward to being back home, sleeping in our own bed, and returning to life as we knew it. Just slightly different as I'm now coming home as Mrs. Lawliss.

Arrivederci Amalfi, Bounjourno Roma

Leaving the amazingly beautiful Amalfi Coast, and heading to Rome for the last 3 days of our honeymoon. Can't believe it's almost done and I'm back to work in less than a week.

Went swimming off the island of Capri yesterday in the Mediterranean. It was pretty cool. Can't wait to post pics. This whole trip has been absolutely amazing.

Cinque Terra

Jason and I had an amazing day yesterday at Cinque Terra. We did the 7 mile hike through the 5 towns (hence Cinque Terra) on the Italian Riviera. It was sooo beautiful! More details to come.

We're leaving Florence today. Off to see Vesuvius and Pompeii tomorrow. Then the Amalfi Coast where we chill in Sorrento for a few days. Then we head off to Rome for our final stop.
