Okay, so for a lot of my shows I would wear more makeup than Alice Cooper...and no lace, but I would still drink about as much as he used to, I'm sure.
Last night was the last time I would wear makeup on stage. I officially retired Psychosis today after 9 years of constant struggling.
I noticed in the last couple of albums that I kept finding different diversions, different sounds that weren't Psychosis material...and beg to be explored further outside of that band. Hence, my creation of Syphilis...which will be raw and dark and more experimental...but with obvious funnier, more sarcastic moments that were toyed with as Psychosis but never made it on any album.
I'll miss the makeup a little. Missy won't because she hated the role of Makeup Artist, hehehe...but I won't miss the cleanup afterwards. I can now focus ALL of my attentions on the music and less on any stage show or image I was trying to portray because it really is all about the music.
So, a little melancholic about the end of something I devoted 9 years of my life to...but pride at the way it's going out. Hundreds of thousands of people have downloaded the new album and have been exposed to a little bit of my mind and soul...the legacy which will hopefully last forever.
This time I look forward to next year when I'll be on a stage and it'll be just me, my gear and the audience...no makeup standing between me and them, no pre-conceptions, no fear...just music.

This is a repost of an opinion piece I read today. I thought it was so great that I felt it necessary to post a copy here for all my friends to read. I know that some of us disagree politically, and that's okay. We don't have to agree on everything to be friends. I actually had someone remove and block me from their friends list...but didn't have the courtesy to at least tell me what I did to piss them off so much that they would block me, so I can only assume it's because of my political rants. The way I see it, if you're going to hate me for no other reason than the fact that I don't like the current President then I don't want to be your friend anyway...because we can agree to disagree. I'm man enough to say exactly what I think and I will never censor myself for anyone...but I don't expect all my friends to be "yes-men" who agree with every single thing I do...because I admit that I'm a little weird. I can't be pigeon-holed and that upsets some people. I think for myself and it is my hope that ALL of my real friends do the same.
Now, here's the article. Sauce: http://www.businessandmedia.org/commentary/2009/20091021113038.aspx
Dumb and Dumber, By Choice
Americans are ignorant, and Obama is counting on it.

Uh-oh. According to a report in The Futurist Magazine, from 1982 to 2007, reading declined by nearly 20 percent for the total U.S. population and 30 percent for young adults aged 18-24. Presently, a
huge percentage of the population – some 40 million Americans – read at
the lowest literacy level.
A big, fat percentage of voters can’t read. Another bigger, fat hunk of ‘em won’t read. Refuse
to read. And they, full of opinions, utterly uninformed and ignorant,
blithely go about imposing their will on us all. This is a cancerous
threat from within to our very survival as a nation, hardly being
mentioned by the media.
Perhaps
this explains the minimal public outrage over the open fact that the
vast majority of those in Congress aren’t even bothering to read the
legislation they’re voting on, including the health care reform
nonsense. Most of their constituents wouldn’t read it either, which
suits those politicians, since they certainly don’t want us reading it.
I
often ask Obama supporters if they have bothered to read the two books
he authored, in which much of his socialist intentions and
anti-American sentiments are made very clear in his own words. I have
yet to find one who read Obama’s own books! When they confess this, I
tell them they have zero right to any opinion about him, and that I
refuse to discuss his politics with them – because they are willfully
ignorant; discussion with them no better than discussion with an
illiterate baboon. Or a global warming-troubled polar bear. I recommend
this as ‘acid test’ for the liberal Obama defenders you encounter.
Now
we have an epic, transformative-as-promised transfer of private power,
wealth, and privacy rights from citizens to government underway, out in
the open to great extent, absent mass protest. Why? Ignorance,
laziness, complacency. But mostly ignorance. Asking around I can’t find
a single person who says they are “for” Obama-care who has read any
in-depth analysis of it anywhere or can answer the first five questions
I ask them about it. The Viet Nam War had huge numbers of people
constantly, aggressively, even violently protesting on college campuses
nationwide, marching on Washington daily. Overwhelming citizen protest. Where is that, now, about this?
This past week, some clowns in Congress proposed a tax credit of up to $3,500 a year for pet owners.
It was reported as something amusing by the media. But is it funny – or
frightening? Doesn’t it speak to the confidence our Royalty in Washington has about the ignorance and stupidity of the peons they rule? As does
Obama’s proposed $250.00 bribe to seniors, the asinine contention that
they will magically take $500-billion from Medicare without cutting the
benefits it delivers, the even more asinine assertion that the near
trillion dollar costs of the new socialized medicine plan will be
offset by savings from stopping fraud and waste in the already
existent, smaller socialized health care plan. these are all the very
same kind of insults to intelligence.
All these insults display the same run-amok arrogance. The same power mad abuse of authority. The same contempt
for you and me. They have decided that more than enough of us are
ignorant idiots, easily pacified with empty promises and a piece of
candy, happy to be done with all responsibility to think, busied with
funny videos on YouTube and 146-character Tweets and X-Box and ordering
complicated drinks at Starbucks. They know that five times as many
people watch the climactic episodes of “American Idol” than watch TV
news programs, let alone read a newspaper and news magazines. They know
that more people participate in fantasy football leagues on one Sunday
than watch “Meet the Press” in a year of Sundays. They are certain of –
and rely on – the growing ignorance of the American public.
To
me, it’s embarrassing to share citizenship with people who choose to be
fools. To see language and communication regress from carefully
composed letters to hastily shorthanded e-mails to 146-character tweets
to – soon – caveman grunts. To see people brag about never reading the
newspaper or a book. To see a comedian hosting a pretend news program
ranked as ‘the most trusted man in America’
It is frightening to know that King Ozbama and the entrenched Royalty
may be correct in their contempt, safe and secure from consequences,
able to rape and pillage our rights, our private companies, our entire
economy with impunity.
Having
no rational defense for their chosen ignorance, many may call me a
curmudgeon, but that would compel them to use a dictionary and look up
the word.

Current mood: chipper
The last time I saw Gwar was in December 1994 somewhere in Indianapolis. The reason I say "somewhere" is because I was wrong about where I thought they played. At any rate, I saw them...and I have the blood-stained jean jacket autographed by all the members to prove it
So it was with great anticipation that I saw them at Indianapolis' Vogue Theater last night with my friend Popcorn. If you've never seen a show at The Vogue, you should really treat yourself. You can get right up to the stage and if you don't want to be caught in the melee you can go upstairs and get a wicked vantage point of all the action. Drinks weren't horribly expensive as long as you wanted what they had on special, which was Bud products or Captain Morgan 100, which went for $3, so my choice was obvious. Top shelf liquor like my favorite Jack Daniels was $6, so that was right out.
First up was Toledo's Mobile Deathcamp which has ex-Gwar member, Todd Evans, on guitar. I met Todd back when he was playing for Lazy American Workers in 2003 so I was hyped to see the new act and let me tell you that this trio shreds in a completely different way than L.A.W. Imagine a mix of black viking metal and thrash and you might get the idea. Very enjoyable 30 minutes and definitely warmed us up for Gwar with their comedic onstage antics and sheer talent on each respective instrument. Watching Todd & Boe's fingers scream across the frets was like watching a DVD in fast-forward. It was awesome. They have a new album available and are on my friend list. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
Next up was Boston's The Red Chord. Personally, I'm tired of all the bands these days that call themselves "br00tuhl death metal" when it's actually code for "metalcore". I don't want to bash these guys because they seemed pretty cool but seriously, if you've heard Behemoth or half the bands on Sirius Liquid Metal, you've heard The Red Chord. The guitarist was wicked, though. He definitely deserves some kudos for excellent fret-action.
Closing out the night was the reason for us all being there, Gwar! They started out with a parody video of "Behind The Music" that contained interviews with Sleazy P. Martini and the other members of the band. Very true to form with a fake commercial (Sperm-n-slide) from their Skulhedface video and mentions of their very own branded Tampons (youtube it).
I was a little disappointed that Sleazy wasn't on the tour with them this time around but the show was still amazing with thousands of gallons of fake blood and who-knows-what-else being spewed into the audience. You almost had to feel sorry for the security guards who were standing in front of the stage. The face on the first one to get blasted with blood was priceless and all were drenched by the end of the show.
The World Maggot was gone, which was sad...but you still got to see Michael Jackson get his face ripped off and Obama decapitated, which was a big hit.
The pit was amazing and it seemed the only crowd-surfers were women...to the delight of those of us in the balcony. Shirts were ripped off, tits were bouncing and there was even a girl who was wearing no bottoms getting passed around. I tried to get pics of both but every time they were up for a few minutes, they would fall again. Damn people need to learn to keep those girls surfing long enough for photo ops! A few even got surfed into the pit, which peaked our morbid curiosity. They were lucky to survive because it was a madhouse, and it was awesome.
My only regret is that I wasn't on the floor, so I left with a white shirt un-bloodied but after the show we waited and talked with the few band members who braved the cold misty night to talk with those of us who stuck around. Overall, an excellent night of metal for us old dudes who remember what it's supposed to be about. I'll leave you with the lyrics to the first song from the first album I ever heard by Gwar, The Salaminizer:
Here's a little something from a God to a slave,
I never should of been let out the fucking microwave!
We're on this planet, we're running amuck,
I should give a shit but I don't give a fuck!
No, since I was a scumdog, I blew a cum-wad.
I need a mother-fucking suckadickalickalog!
Burning a mall or two, blowing the load I spew.
You don't wanna fucking fuck me, I'll Fuck you!
This is your ass, and I'm in it.
My man Sexy will fuck you up in a minute.
With an axe, sword, mace, pike, you're limbless.
Then I'll fuck your ass till its rimless!
Chorus:
Oh! You humans always screaming!
Oh! As you suckle on my semen!
Oh! And the shit is always steamin'
A drunk, a pervert, a junkie and a womanizer.
But you can call me the salaminizer
I NEED MORE! I NEED MORE! I NEED MORE!
Give unto give unto give unto give unto
My life is a luxury, so filled with hate.
I got fifty slaves heaping maggots on my plate.
From my fortress in Antarctica I watch the world die
On my Sony Trinitron that's switched to channel 5.
Back on the road, its no lie....
Stupid fucking humans paying money to die!
Crushed in the pit, nailed to the stage
I only suck the souls that are underage.
(chorus)
This deli tray is unacceptable!

Current mood: gloomy
Ugh. Gloom and doom surrounds me. I'm 38 years old today. I woke up and started thinking of how fucking ancient I really am and how many lifetimes I've lived in these 38 years.
I've been married three times. I've been homeless. I've slept in a subway entrance and on a beach. I've been so drunk I've lost track of time. I've worked at factories coating oil pipelines, washed breakfast dishes at the Village Idiot still hungover from the night before. I've ridden a bicycle down the interstate. I've wanted to die and tried so many times that I couldn't even begin to describe each time. I've been that sad and I've been so happy that the bliss made me ache from the contrast. I have seen and done things that most of you reading this can never comprehend.
Growing old seems like the death of all the cool things that were in the past. It's bad that 18 year old girls were 8 when I was 28. It's amazing to me that having all the material things I do these days are no match for the open road and the true freedom that came with no strings. If only I wouldn't have been such a sad drunk...I could have had a genuinely good time being single instead of just trying to find a replacement to fill the black hole in my heart.
Now I'm 38 and married with no children. I love my wife, and my life is so much better now, but I can't help falling into the trap of remembering how absolutely awesome parts of my past lives were. I don't miss the brutal verbal fighting with my second wife and I don't miss the abject darkness that filled me when I was younger...but I do remember that sometimes there was laughter. Sometimes there was the sweet love of youth. I look back at my first wife and realize where we went wrong. By the gods, I hate that I am able to look back and do that...because in having regrets you admit that you have lived and experienced enough to have them.
I've lived fast and hard like Jim Morrison, one of my earliest musical idols...but here I am, 11 years older than he was when he died. If he would have lived...would he be moaning about the aches of age, about how our bodies fall apart because life is cruel and wonderful all at once? He went out in his prime so that he wouldn't have to suffer through regrets.
But here we are. Ignore my whining about growing old while others die young. I am alive and I hope to live to be well over 100...if only I could be given immortality before I'm too old to enjoy it.

Am I the only one who likes going to a show and being completely aurally bludgeoned? Apparently I am not if last night's show at Jerilee's Pub was any indication.
Lafayette Music League & Lafayettemetal.com's monthly metal showcase, HardNHeavy, has become everything you would want in a metal night: a bar that serves up cold & strong spirits at a reasonable price and hundreds of fellow headbangers who are just as passionate as you about the music.
Last night we were treated to the return of Lafayette's own Sarcophagy after a 13 year hiatus and let me tell you, these guys brought the pain with a set peppered with old and new songs. It was insane and awesome all at once. Their second song, which I unfortunately did not get on video, was VERY reminiscent of Nile. If you like a death metal band that blends the old-school with some nice progressive flourishes, you'll love Sarcophagy.
Next up was Human Filleted. Having almost become a regular staple of HardNHeavy showcases, they still never get old. It's awesome to me to see how much this band has grown since the first time I saw them a few years ago. The music has crept away from the pitch-shifted croaking of early days and has become something else that is simply amazing with technical shifts and pulls that compel everyone to hold their horns high in respect for what they are accomplishing outside of the normal cover-band mentality that has infected our fair city.
On a personal note, I couldn't believe how many friends were out and about last night. Five seperate people who knew me from the Tazzma days....it was a lot of fun. I ended up skipping out on the last band of the night, Darkside of Silence from Crawfordsville. I heard the beginning of their set and it was just no match for the first two bands. DoS has the talent and ability...I just thought they seemed to be going in too many directions at once and it wasn't enjoyable. I lurked across town to hang out with a few other friends at The End Zone where a horrible 80's cover band was playing. Okay...so they were decent but it was still a cover band. I told a friend of mine there that if I ever look as bored on stage as these guys did to please shoot me and put me out of my misery. It makes me sad to see old dudes who obviously missed out on the dream playing 80's pop tunes to make a buck. Sure, they're paid very well...but I would rather play originals and be heard by 5 people than playing other people's crappy radio rock and be heard by 5000. Just my opinion, of course.

I know I've said that I was going to stop putting political blogs on here...but it's really too much fun.
Did you see the newest Great Idea from our fools in Washington? They heard you loud and clear...you don't want a "public option", so their new answer is to force every American into buying health insurance...just like most states force you to buy car insurance. Source: Click for sauce
Think about it. Insurance is nothing more than legalized gambling. You are gambling that you might get sick someday and need it. They are gambling and hoping that you won't. You pay premiums based on the risk that you're going to cost the insurance company money.
The most important thing to remember when gambling is that the house always wins. Most of you poor bastards have been fooled into believing that if you pay your premiums every month that you're actually gaining something.
Does it benefit the single guy who doesn't buy insurance because he's young and never gets sick or the insurance company that gets all the money? They're trying to ram the Socialism in our back-door since we refused it through the front.
The thinking is that if everyone is forced to pay in that the insurance companies will be flush with cash...and able to pay more taxes to the government as a small payback for helping bring them more customers than they had before. You better believe that the auto insurers are a lot happier now that most states force every driver to have insurance because let's face it: most people DON'T have costly accidents despite the media coverage.
Most of the money insurance companies spend is on attorneys and heavies...who help them find all sorts of ways to deny claims so they can keep as many of your payments as possible and if they have to pay, to pay out as little as possible. See a pattern here yet? Does the insurance game sound anything like the crap tables in Vegas? If you win too much, some big mean guy comes along and accuses you of cheating...tells you if you leave quietly, your fingers will remain unbroken.
In this case though, if you don't play, you'll get fined up to $3800. That's a lot more than a "no-insurance" ticket in Indiana, which I think is up to around $750...which is still highway robbery IMO. I wonder where that money will go? Probably to cover Michelle Obama's facelift or something equally idiotic.

It's no secret that I've never been able to stand the whiny paint-throwing idiots at PETA. As a proud eater of the world's flesh-providing animals, I see this group as nothing more than a group of glorified domestic terrorists.
This new billboard was the last straw, though and has succeeded in creating a backlash that I can only hope brings these idiots down in flames.
Does anyone else find it interesting that there are a lot of fat people who are vegans/vegetarians? I know a few personally...and a simple Google search found one who's not so thin.

I don't have anything against someone's personal choice to be vegan, vegetarian, whatever...but this very personal attack on an entire group of people is just wrong. Imagine if the billboard featured black people and fried chicken? The uproar would drown out nearly any of the petty politics of the day.
Why is that? Why, in the age of so-called "enlightenment" is it still okay to make fun of fat people? Hell, you can damn near be thrown in jail or socially shunned for making fun of any other politically-protected group. It's almost like George Carlin's rant about the homeless...there is no money to be made from the problem so you'll never see anything but token responses from politicians.
Fat people still hold the majority in this country, though...64% as of last count. No money can be made from the plight of the overweight...but a lot of noise can still be made.

It makes me
laugh a little when things I've said for the last year have started
coming true. The relish is bittersweet, though. It's like the doomsayer
who is warning you that your house is going to burn down. You laugh at
him and call him a fool and part of him prays for the fire so he can
say, "I told you so" and maybe point and laugh. Only in his mind,
though. In reality, the same man would be found weeping at the grave
asking why nobody listened.
I've been watching too many WWII programs on The History Channel lately
and the similarities are really starting to creep me out, but the
creepiest came late last night while I was getting ready for bed. It
was sheer dumb luck and news organizations aren't talking about it but
a simple Google search found thousands of blogs about it and the proof
from Whitehouse.gov:
http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Facts-Are-Stubborn-Things/
By chance, you might have heard about this White House plan to
establish a federal snitch program so that a list of Obama's enemies
can be compiled...maybe we'll be dragged out of our beds in the middle
of the night and disappeared to a federal detention center in the
southwest.
My favorite blog was this one that contains a video report:
http://www.ireport.com/docs/DOC-309825
So, I encourage everyone to report me. Snitch on me, you bitch-ass
Obamanauts! Tell Das Schwarze Fuhrer that I have written blogs against
him here and on greatshaitan.wordpress.com.
If you believe the same way I do, that freedom of speech is inviolate
and sacred...report yourself as well to flag@whitehouse.gov. Let this
tyrant know that there are more of us than there are of him. He can't
take us all.
Here is a letter from Senator John Cornyn to President Obama on the subject:
Dear President Obama, I
write to express my concern about a new White House program to monitor
American citizens’ speech opposing your health care policies, and to
seek your assurances that this program is being carried out in a manner
consistent with the First Amendment and America’s tradition of free
speech and public discourse. Yesterday,
in an official White House release entitled “Facts are Stubborn
Things,” the White House Director of New Media, Macon Phillips,
asserted that there was “a lot of disinformation out there,” and
encouraged citizens to report “fishy” speech opposing your health care
policies to the White House. Phillips specifically targeted private,
unpublished, even casual speech, writing that “rumors often travel just
below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation.”
Phillips wrote “If you get an email or see something on the web about
health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.” I
am not aware of any precedent for a President asking American citizens
to report their fellow citizens to the White House for pure political
speech that is deemed “fishy” or otherwise inimical to the White
House’s political interests. By
requesting that citizens send “fishy” emails to the White House, it is
inevitable that the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and private
speech of U.S. citizens will be reported to the White House. You should
not be surprised that these actions taken by your White House staff
raise the specter of a data collection program. As Congress debates
health care reform and other critical policy matters, citizen
engagement must not be chilled by fear of government monitoring the
exercise of free speech rights. I
can only imagine the level of justifiable outrage had your predecessor
asked Americans to forward emails critical of his policies to the White
House. I suspect that you would have been leading the charge in
condemning such a program—and I would have been at your side denouncing
such heavy-handed government action. So
I urge you to cease this program immediately. At the very least, I
request that you detail to Congress and the public the protocols that
your White House is following to purge the names, email addresses, IP
addresses, and identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged
in “fishy” speech. And I respectfully request an answer to the
following: ·
How do you intend to use the names, email addresses, IP addresses, and
identities of citizens who are reported to have engaged in “fishy”
speech? · How do you intend to notify citizens who have been reported for “fishy” speech? · What action do you intend to take against citizens who have been reported for engaging in “fishy” speech? ·
Do your own past statements qualify as “disinformation”? For example,
is it “disinformation” to note that in 2003 you said: “I happen to be a
proponent of a single-payer universal health care plan”? I look forward to your prompt response. Sincerely, JOHN CORNYN United States Senator

I've moved most of my more serious political blogs to:
GREATSHAITAN.WORDPRESS.COM That's where I'll be posting my political thoughts from now on if you want to stop by there from time to time, subscribe, etc. It's all free just like here...
I also contribute posts to NEWTONFACTOR.WORDPRESS.COM
I left some of my more graphic-oriented funnier ones up for you to see what you'll eventually get more of on my Wordpress site.

Okay, I finally got these posted on my site for your downloading pleasure. It never ceases to amaze me how many people have never read these important documents...and think that getting a free house is in the Constitution. It's not...read these to learn what really IS in there.
The United States Constitution
The United States Declaration of Independence
The America Again Resolves. The Revolution is NOW!
Enjoy!

I wanted to drop some random thoughts for the day here...
Kudos to Kirsten Vangsness for staying real... real sexy, that is!

It's such a shame she swore off men, but I can't fault her for liking women as much as I do...

Speaking of good things to eat, have you heard the latest news? I guess some Germans never made the connection between fried chicken, black people and the leftwafflers who never let an opportunity to accuse someone of racism go by.
click the photo for the news story
I have to wonder though: If this is so offensive, why are chicken-joints like Church's & Popeye's primarily located in areas where there is a predominantly black population? Maybe they should tell Church's & Popeye's to GTFO of Chicago and Louisiana since they are perpetuating racism...and we're not going to tolerate that shit in the Age of Obama. ------------------

There is an old saying that is repeated very often.
"Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it."
When I was a kid, it was easy to say that this maxim was full of shit. Who cares about history when you're so busy trying to get laid?
Regardless, I learned my history and sometimes immersed myself in it because when you get off the beaten path of the school's version of history and actually research and flesh out the stories...you find that the back story is often worth the read, and usually bloodier. I also spent a lot of time in the library so it was a given that eventually I would make it to the reference/non-fiction section when I could tear myself away from Stephen King or John Saul.
Now that I've lived and had my share of liaisons, I am starting to see glimmers of the past coming back to haunt us. Now that those who lived it are mostly dead or discarded relics in a nursing home somewhere, we see an entire generation who doesn't know that there is nothing new going on here; that this change they sought is nothing more than the tired ancient ideology that has enslaved generations who were here before your ancient ancestors were even born. Sometimes it seems like it sleeps...like an ancient serpent and comes out once every century or so to torment the people of earth...and we allow it to do so.
It's no secret that I don't like Obama. My disgust with this little man is rare because it is not just limited to his role as President. I didn't like Bush as President, but he at least seemed like a decent person. He was wrong most of the time, but he at least wanted to do the right thing.
I don't like Obama as a person. It's my opinion that he has had these insane dreams of being not just a leader, but the leader. His megalomania and narcissism permeates everything he says and does, and it comes around full circle with the new GIVE Act that is making it's way through Congress.
Does anyone else make the correlation between this and other "youth movements" of the past? It seems innocuous but don't they all? I don't think any brutal dictator ever came into power by telling the people up front that he was going to enslave them. No dictator has ever come into power by telling his subjects that he intends to kill half of them and throw the others into re-education camps.
Maybe you'll think I've finally gone off the deep end, that I've succumbed to all the conspiracy theories. If I was reading this I might think the same thing if it weren't happening in plain sight.
If you look at the entirety of his plans for us, you'll see the horrific truth. Cap & Trade, the GIVE Act, two massive "stimulus" acts that have devalued our currency, the hostile takeover of a private company by the federal government, taxing gasoline to $4 a gallon regardless of market forces. Each on their own isn't so bad, the easy pill that comes in packs of 9, until you realize that you've taken so much poison that no antidote can possibly act in time to save you.
All that's missing is the re-education camps in the southwest that his Weathermen buddies were planning. I can tell you that this will not stand. I don't know how long it's going to take and I don't know what the actual catalyst will be but a storm is coming. You will eventually see good men rise up and defend their individual rights. You'll see a resurgence of 10th amendment activists...and I'll be right there with them.

My pet squirrel, "Snickers", was found dead this morning. She died in her sleep.

She was a really great pet. Missy hit her with her car and looked in the rearview mirror and saw her flopping on the ground and didn't have the heart to just leave her to die. So she brought her home.
It turned out there was no damage, but we nursed Snickers back to health. She would run around the bedroom playing with everything. We bought her a nice big cage so she could run around and get exercise and put a little "house" inside so she could have a dark quiet place to sleep.
She was so gentle, but didn't like anyone but me or Missy and would chatter at anyone or anything that got near the cage, warning them that she was elected protector of the room.
We could hold her and she would nibble but never bite. She loved pecans and walnuts and the occasional ear of corn from the field next to our house. Missy made special nutballs from a wildlife refuge recipe so she wouldn't suffer from malnutrition.
I'll miss her.
