Had a weird dream last night that I joined a 'funeral club'. You basically act as a seat filler at a funeral that isn't expected to get many attendees. And if you bring a dish, you can go to the wake.

I think this is a somewhat ingenius idea.

I went to a comedy show at IO West for the first time in probably over a year. I saw The Armando Show. It was incredibly good. No dead weight in the cast (which I find REALLY rare at IO). There were some scenes that I was absolutely losing my shit during.

Almost made me miss performing regularly.

Part of the gimmick of the Armando show is that often the celebrity guest provides the personal monologues that serve as the base suggestion for the improvised scenes. No celebrity this week. Next week's show will feature Sarah Silverman's sister from the Comedy Central show... I think I dodged a bullet there. 

 

Pay special attention to the "What are you interested in reading about" question.


 

Hey guess what! She said yes.

So.... a twenty year old woman is haunted by a ghost who appears to her as an eight year old boy....the ghost is that of her unborn fetal twin. Ehhhh... why is the ghost not the same 'age' as the girl? Or... why is the ghost not a menacing fetus? Menacing fetus I'd go see.
