Once the market shifted and self adjusted (as all things do) those who held the lion share of stocks became very wealthy in a relative short amount of time.

Imagine if you purchased Airline holdings the day after 911 when they tumbled across the board. Due to this tragic incident, the values instantly declined.

Only short time later, when they rose to what would be considered ‘normal’ trading values; the same stocks were worth nearly twice of what they slipped to before the recovery.
