I can't tell you how many nights I spent listening to Earl Root on "The Root of All Evil". When I couldn't stay awake, I'd start a cassette tape recording and listen later. I held on to some of those tapes for years. I was very sad to hear that Earl lost his battle with cancer last week.

So we're going to try to put together a local metal show on minneapoliscast.com. If you're in a band that wants to participate (even if you don't play metal) please send an mp3 to truetone at gmail dot com. If you know of a band that would like to take part, please spread the word.

Thanks,

Tony Thomas --Producer, Minneapoliscast Podcast

Alright, his initials are R. M. and his band is named after a dog. A...yellow...dog. Oh just go listen already!
