HELLO MYSPACERS AND WWE FANS,
WELL UNLESS YOU LIVE  UNDER A ROCK THEN YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPEND ON RAW THE OTHER NIGHT. I MUST SAY MY BOY PLAYS THE HEEL WITH SUCH EVILNESS. LOL
BUT JUST INCASE.... LOL
Orton enters the ring and asks Vince to excuse him. He says there’s another apology in order and talks about Stephanie slapping him earlier for no reason at all. Orton says Vince should tell Stephanie to apologize to him. Vince asks why would he do that? Orton says he is worth more than she is, will win the Rumble this Sunday and go on to headline WrestleMania which will make Vince millions of dollars. Orton says Vince might not want to admit this, but ever since Steph has popped out a couple of grandkids, she’s become worthless. Steph goes towards Orton but Vince stops her and asks her to leave the ring.

Vince comes back and asks Orton who the hell he thinks he is. Vince says this is his ring, his universe and Orton is privileged to be in it. Vince brings up Orton’s dad, Cowboy Bob Orton. Vince says he was a “mediocre rassler” until Vince came along. Vince says he made Orton’s dad a Superstar and if he did not do that, Orton wouldn’t be standing here right now. Vince says Orton might be a gym teacher in St. Louis. Vince tells Orton to apologize to him now.

Orton doesn't apologize and Vince says "Randy Orton - You're" and Randy SLAPS him before he can say FIRED. He then kicks Vince right in the head as Johnny Ace, Stephanie, and others rush to the ring. Stephanie cries for her father to talk as RAW ends. Orton and the Legacy go to the back with shocked looks on their faces.

I LOVED IT. LMFAO

WWE has announced that the Judgment Day PPV will take place in Chicago, IL on May 19th, 2009. Tickets will go on sale on April 11th, 2009.

Tommy Dreamer has a new WWE Universe blog, discussing his recent hospital stay for food poisoning, but also that he made all of his booking this weekend.

ON THIS EDITION OF WHO GIVES A FUCK.who gives a fuck
JBL has updated his WWE Universe blog with his comments about WWE's recent firings. "I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear some of my good friends are no longer with WWE. It's just part of life, I know, but that doesn't make it any better to deal with. I have been here longer than I ever dreamed, and actually right now on top of my game," he said. "It's been a great run, but out-staying the crew you came in with is tough."

Speaking of JBL, he has enlisted the help of former WWE diva Torrie Wilson to help promote one of his new energy drinks, "Energy Plus: No Pain." Wilson on JBL are featured on the packaging as well as in a commercial for the drink. You can see the commercial and purchase a case of " Energy Plus: No Pain" at Amazon.com.

After RAW went off the air last night, Lillian Garcia came out to announce the dark main event, but then said the show is over due to the events that ended the show. A few minutes later, John Cena came out and said Chicago was promised a title match and told everyone to come down to the seats close to the ring (many had left at this point). Eventually Chris Jericho came out and they had a match. Cena won.

WWE Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis made a rare WWE television appearance on last night's RAW. Laurinaitis was the first person to hit the ring after Randy Orton brutally punted Vince McMahon in the head to end the broadcast. Laurinaitis got in Orton's face and ordered him to leave the ring.

Punk became a triple crown champion (World, Tag Team, Intercontinental) faster than anyone else in the company. From his first title reign (June 30, 2008) to tonight (January 19, 2009), it has been 203 days. The only person close to that was Kevin Nash who became a triple crown champion in 227 days. Don't know if this means anything in the long run, but it is interesting to see Vince solidify him in history like this.
The timing of Lisa "Victoria" Varon's retirement from WWE has been described as interesting as she had given notice a while ago that she intended to leave imminently reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Victoria, who turns 38 in a few weeks, had been phased down in recent months by WWE and with the company cutting so many last weekend everything seemed to work out for the better with her departure.

Steve Austin has requested that Ric Flair induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. The company has mixed feelings on this, because Flair isn't with the company anymore, and his induction of Austin would be free advertising for Flair. The induction of Austin would be the centerpiece of the USA Network special that would air on tape delay that same night. One positive for WWE would be that Flair's induction did a big number last year, and with him inducting Austin, it would guarantee a big rating. From all reports, Austin will get his way.

After a recent radio appearance where Hulk Hogan told Bubba The Lovesponge that he'd have no problem putting over Steve Austin at WrestleMania 25, Jim Ross was quick to update his blog stating that Austin's wrestling days were behind him and a dream match with Hulk Hogan was no longer possible. Prowrestling.net reports that a source close to Hogan agrees the match is unlikely but that we still could see Hogan at the big show in April. "Steve is in no shape to work with anybody," said the source. "It's impossible for him to bump and have a match." The source acknowledged that Austin is one bad bump away from a serious injury, and noted that Hogan struggling with his own wear and tear. While the source wouldn't completely rule out a special Hogan appearance at WrestleMania, it's not something he's actively perusing.

YEAH YEAH FUCKERS I KNOW ITS BEEN A WEEK SINCE MY LAST POST. QUIT BITCHING LMFAO....

 WWE Monday Night RAW
Airdate: Monday, January 12th, 2008 (USA Network)
Location: The Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA
Results

-Hosted by Michael Cole & Jerry "The King" Lawler

-We open with JBL and Shawn inside JBL's limo. JBL tells Shawn he's competing against Cena tonight and then its on to Wrestlemania. JBL says he knows Shawn thinks it could have been him, but he fell on hard times. He tells him tonight he's not fighting for a title, but for his employer. JBL tells him tonight he can consider this his Wrestlemania. Shawn shoots him a disgusted look as JBL leaves the limo.

-Stephanie McMahon joins us to tell us we're two weeks from the Royal Rumble. She says we're looking forward to the Rumble and also to next week when her father returns to Raw. She begins to suck up to Dad when Chris Jericho interrupts. Jericho informs her that she is a liar. He says she's no worse than the hypocrites in the arena. He tells Steph she is scared to death of her Dad's return because she's not running the show anymore. Jericho says when Vince returns he will listen to Jericho's protest and remove JBL and insert Jericho into the title match. Jericho goes on to say Vince knows how to run this show. Stephanie tells him Raw is her show. Stephanie says her dad her supports her. Jericho asks her if he supported her decision to make Mike Adamle the GM. He says Adamle lowered the bar so far that he made Steph seem competent by example. Stephanie corrects him by saying Adamle was Shane's call. She goes on to tell him if he spent as much time worrying about his career as he did her leadership skills maybe he'd still be World Champion. Stephanie says the World Title contract is done and will be signed next week in the ring. She tells him to focus on the Royal Rumble because thats the closest to the title he's going to get. She starts to tell him he has a match tonight, but Jericho interrupts saying he will not compete until the title is on the line. He says he's above that. Stephanie angerly shoots back that he's not above that or anyone else in the arena. Jericho says he's done talking to her, because she's a lame duck. The real McMahon is coming back next week. She tells him its not next week its this week and she's still in charge. He asks her what she's gonna do about it? Stephanie informs him that he lost his chance to compete in the Rumble and that he'll never compete for the World Title. Jericho says he doesn't give a damn what she says. Stephanie tells him to give a damn about this and informs him that he's FIRED! She walks off and Y2J is left with a blank stare.

-In the back Jericho is escorted from the building by security.

The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio
Cole confirms that Miz is in the Royal Rumble match. Miz grabs a side headlock and sends Mysterio down with a shoulderblock. Following a leapfrog Mysterio gets a dropkick. Miz tries a corner charge but runs into the boot of Mysterio. Miz catches Mysterio out of the corner and slams him into the turnbuckle. That is followed up by a running knee to the chin of Mysterio picking up two. Miz grabs a double arm submission which Mysterio fights out of. Miz quickly regains control by driving Mysterio's face to the mat picking up a two count. Miz tries a backdrop but gets kicked in the face instead. That allows Mysterio to hit the springboard seated senton for a two count. Mysterio hits a drop toehold to set up a 619 but that misses. Rey gets backdropped over the top, but lands on the apron. Rey tries for a springboard sunset flip but Miz counters into his own pin combo for two. Rey counters out of a backslide attempt with an armdrag. That sets up a hurracanrana into the ropes. 619 and springboard splash finishes for Rey. Any doubt who WWE views as the future star of Miz and Morrison after that? Mike Knox attacks Mysterio after the bell which is becoming a Raw tradition. Mysterio ends up fighting him off this time by fighting him off and sending him back to the floor with a hurracanrana.
Winner: Rey Mysterio (Pinfall-Springboard Splash *1/2)

-Candice Michelle is talking about Vince coming back. CM Punk is shown as the guy she is talking to, but he's paying no attention as he's focused on his IC Title match, which is next.

-A video hyping Vince's return is shown. Lots of clips of announcer Vince are shown, most of this is recycled from the McMahon DVD.

WWE Intercontinental Championship Match/DQ Title Change Rule Waived: CM Punk vs. William Regal (c) (w. Layla)
Stephanie was very clear about Regal being Disqualified costing him the title. She said nothing about count outs. Next week Raw is in Punk's hometown. Do the math. Regal is back to wearing that absurd top on his wrestling gear. Punk takes Regal down with a shoulderblock. Punk ducks a European uppercut into a backslide, but Regal escapes even a one count. Punk grabs a side headlock, but Regal powers out sending Punk into the buckle. Punk gets a headlock takedown and gets a one count. Regal is sent into the buckle and hits a bulldog. Cole says "Jericho could be closing in on the Championship." Say Steph, I think you fired the wrong guy. Punk follows Regal in the corner but gets taken down to the 2nd turnbuckle. Regal pounds away in the corner but when coming in Regal gets a shot the lower abdominal. The ref thinks thats a low blow and DQ's Punk. Well that was less predictible, and a hell of a lot more stupid than just doing the count out. Guys punch and kick all day with nothing but warnings but a borderline low blow that was unintentional is a DQ? Okay then.
Winner: STILL WWE Intercontinental Champion: William Regal (Disqualification-Low Blow *)

-Mickie James and Cody Rhodes are in the back. Mickie is complaining about the blizzard. Me too dear. Cody doesn't even know why they have to be in Iowa. Manu and Sim Snuka interrupt. They're angry that Rhodes betrayed them. Cody asks why they're taking this so personally, and if they were in his shoes they'd have done the same thing. Manu tells him they're taking Orton tonight and he's either with them or against them. He says they brought back up. Another second generation star who feels the same way they do.

-Todd Grisham meets up with William Regal. He says he's satisfied this challenge is over. Stephanie interrupts and says she's not satisfied. Since they're even up one and one they'll meet next week in a no DQ match. Wow, didn't see that coming.

-Stone Cold Steve Austin is announced as the first inductee of the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame. A great video tribute to him is shown. Next to Hogan there is not a single man who is more deserving of a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. A perfect choice to headline the class at a Texas Wrestlemania.

-JBL asks Shawn what he thinks, is Steph going to still be in charge when they get to Wrestlemania. He mentions Jericho getting fired, but tells Shawn not to worry about him because he took care of his money. He tells Shawn he can't lose tonight with him is corner. Shawn tells JBL that if this is his Wrestlemania he won't need JBL in his corner to beat Cena. What about Wrestlemania 23? He says he's going to prove once again why he's the headliner, the showstopper, and the main event.

-More Vince hype is shown. Its a "you're fired" montage. In what I'm sure was simply a coincidence the first two guys shown being fired are Kurt Angle and Mick Foley. Completely by chance I'm sure.

-Mike Knox vs. Rey Mysterio is announced for next week.

Kane vs. Randy Orton (w. Cody Rhodes)
Orton attacks quickly pounding away at Kane in the corner. The ref pulls him off and that allows Kane to come back with an uppercut and an elbow. Kane pounds away in the corner with a kick, punch, and back elbow. Kane follows that up by clotheslining Orton to the floor as we head to break. Back from commercial with Orton in control with a side headlock. Kane fights to his feet but Orton pounds him back with a series of punches followed by a boot the face. Orton stands over Kane allowing Kane to fire back with an uppercut. It only stuns Orton who comes back with a boot the face. Knee drop by Orton is followed by a series of stomps getting one. Orton maintains control by raking Kane's eyes with his boot. Orton stomps away at the midsection of Kane before grabbing another headlock. Kane is able to fight of that suplexing his way out of it. Kane fires away with right hands followed by a big boot. A whip to the corner is followed by a pair of clotheslines for Orton. Sidewalk slam picks up two for Kane. Kane goes for the chokeslam but Orton kicks his way out of that. Swinging neckbreaker sets up an RKO attempt, but Kane counters out of it. Kane goes to the top rope but is met with a one legged dropkick. Orton goes for the cover and Kane gets the shoulder up at two but referee Scott Armstrong counts three anyway. Kane chases Armstrong out. Thats certainly interesting. I can't be the only one who is thinking Armstrong is technically second generation am I?
Winner: Randy Orton (Pinfall-One Legged Dropkick *1/4)

-Manu and Snuka come out to ask Cody if he's with them or against them. They bring out their backup, and its Ted Dibiase. The four circle Orton in the ring, but Dibiase turns on Manu and Snuka. Orton, Rhodes, and Dibiase beat down Manu and Snuka. Orton asks Rhodes which one he wants. Cody picks Sim and delivers a roll of the dice to him. Dibiase takes out Manu with the Million Dollar Dream slam. Crowd gives them a mixed reaction bordering on a face pop, which probably wasn't exactly the desired reaction, but at least the group is over.

-Recap of Jericho getting fired is shown.

-Todd Grisham is with John Cena. Cena says he knows all about the Royal Rumble after he snuck in and won last year. He says the Rumble is the most exciting, unpredictible event of the year. He says this year he has to defend against JBL. He says regardless of what you think of JBL he is a former WWE Champion, and has been responsible for some of his most brutal matches. He says JBL has bought himself the best, and now Shawn is firmly entrenched in JBL's camp. He says tonight he has to compete against Shawn in his Wrestlemania. So be it says the champ.

Beth Phoenix & Jillian Hall vs. Kelly Kelly & Melina
Rosa Mendez attacks Melina before the bell as she snuck in this week dressed as one of Melina's paparazzi. Security escorts her out, as Kelly goes to assist. That allows Beth and Jillian to attack in the aisle. Beth slams Melina into the barricade. Melina popped out!! Whoa momma, she's so damn HOT! Jillian gets a camera for Beth who takes Melina's picture in the aisle. Match is cancelled I guess?
No Match

-More Vince hype, this time we see Vince being inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

-Cole & Lawler run down the Royal Rumble card as it stands now. If you're scoring at home we've got the Rumble Match, Jeff Hardy vs. Edge, JBL vs. John Cena, & Melina vs. Beth Phoenix

-Orton is with Dibiase and Rhodes. Orton says when he kicked Ted in the head he was just knocking some sense into him. Orton says they both proved they want to be part of the Legacy. Dibiase says the past is the past, and its on to the Royal Rumble. Dibiase says they're all in the Rumble, but Orton reminds them there can only be one winner.

-The Job Squad of Jamie Noble, Dolph Ziggler, Goldust and Cryme Tyme wait outside Stephanie's office to try to persuade her to give them a spot in the Rumble. Santino emerges from the office to tell them he has gotten a spot. Dolph takes the opportunity to introduce himself to Jamie, but gets rebuffed.

Shawn Michaels (w. JBL) vs. John Cena
Shawn comes out in JBL's limo and with JBL's music which is a nice touch. They play "Sexy Boy" when he gets out of the limo. Personally I would have played JBL's music the whole way, that would add to the heat. Thats a minor complaint. My clock shows we've still got a half hour left. Thats a good sign. Hopefully these two can save a show that has been criminally short on wrestling. History has shown have the ability to deliver a classic when given proper time. Cena offers a pre match hand which is granted by Shawn, and with that we go to break.

Bell rings as we return from break, so we didn't miss anything. Shawn grabs arm bar and takes Shawn over. Cena counters out with a head scissor. Shawn takes Cena down again with a headlock, and again its countered with the head scissor. They do the spot a third time, but this time Shawn is frustrated and shoves off Cena. That is met with a clothesline from Cena. Shawn grabs an armbar, which Cena counters out with an elbow. Cena delivers a hiptoss and drop toehold. He tries for the STF, but Shawn counters. Sweet Chin Music is threatened but Cena ducks out of the way. Lockup into the corner sees Shawn take control with a pair of vicious chops. Cena turns that around with a series of fists. Shawn again turns that around with chops. Cena reverses a whip into the corner and catches Shawn with a backdrop. Cena then sends Shawn to the floor with a backdrop over the top. Shawn catches Cena on his way back in dropping his head on the top rope. That allows Shawn to gain control with a stomp and a kick to the face. Elbow drop by Shawn is followed with another series of chops. Cena again reverses a whip attempt by Shawn and hits a pair of clotheslines. A whip by Cena does work as Shawn goes crashing into the corner. Cena hits a bulldog for two. Fisherman's Suplex attempt is countered by Shawn allowing him to lock in a figure four. Cena rolls it over and Shawn then breaks the hold. Shawn rams Cena into the turnbuckle. A third whip attempt by Shawn again fails as again he's reversed into the corner, this time landing on the top rope. Kick by Cena from there sets up an FU attempt. Shawn counters out of that but runs into kick. Blockbuster by Cena sends him to the top rope for a legdrop attempt. Shawn moves out of the way and that allows Shawn to lock in a crossface. Cena tries to power to his feet, but Shawn was able to settle back and bring Cena back to the ground still in the hold. Cena eventually is able to drag himself to the ropes to break the hold. Shawn kicks Cena to the floor as we head to break.

HBK fights out of the bear hug with an elbow and gets to his feet. They trade blows and Cena locks the bear hug on again. Cena rams HBK into the corner but runs into HBK's boot. They trade chops and right hands. Big shoulder by HBK off the ropes knocks them both down. Both men get up and HBK nails the inverted atomic drop. Cena runs the ropes and nails a big shoulder. Cena goes for a back drop but HBK turns it into a 2 count. Scoop slam by HBK and he climbs to the top rope. HBK is met at the top by Cena's right hand. Cena lifts HBK on his shoulders but HBK drops him off the top on his head and holds it for a 2 count. Cena landed oddly on his neck.

HBK goes back to the top for the elbow drop but Cena rolls out of the way. JBL paces around ringside. Cena climbs to the top now and nails the big leg drop on HBK. Cena tells JBL he can't see him and drops the Five Knuckle Shuffle on HBK. Cena lifts HBK on his shoulders for the FU but HBK turns it into a DDT. Close 2 count by HBK. HBK goes back up top and nails the big elbow drop. HBK gets ready for Sweet Chin Music as Cena tries to get up. Cena ducks the big kick and Cena nails the FU, or whatever they're calling it, on HBK for another close 2 count.

JBL looks worried at ringside. Cena gets to his feet but HBK hits the Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere. HBK covers Cena for another very close 2 count. Cena scoops HBK on his shoulders again but HBK rolls him for a 2 count. Cena with a drop toe hold and then he locks the STF on HBK, right infront of JBL. JBL leans on the rope and HBK gets to it, forcing Cena to break the hold. HBK is down as Cena gets to his feet. HBK turns around and gets lifted on Cena's shoulders again. JBL distracts Cena and HBK nails the Sweet Chin Music for the pinfall and the win.

Winner: Shawn Michaels

After the match, HBK rolls out of the ring and staggers to the back. JBL enters the ring where Cena is still laying on his back. JBL just stands over Cena and looks at him as we get replays of the match. JBL just looks at Cena with his hands on his hips as RAW goes off the air.

OK UNLESS YOUR ARE A TOTAL ASS CLOWN YOU KNOW THIS CHRIS FIRING IS PART OF A STORYLINE.
For those who have actually asked, yes, the Chris Jericho 'firing' angle is an absolute work. I'd expect him back next week once Vince returns. They've set up a great storyline there and it was a great opening angle on RAW.

WWE.com has now confirmed the story that was leaked then removed from their site last Friday: Stone Cold Steve Austin will lead the Class of 2009 into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania weekend.

Here's the official statement from WWE.com:

It’s time to raise a glass — of beer, naturally — to the most popular WWE Superstar in history, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

It’s official! The six-time WWE Champion will be inducted into the 2009 WWE Hall of Fame on April 4 in his home state of Texas at Houston’s Toyota Center, the night before WrestleMania XXV. “Stone Cold” is the first Superstar announced for this year’s Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in what promises to be one “Hell Yeah” of an evening.

OK YOU KNOW WHAT IS COMMING FROM ME NOW. WHAT THE FUCK ABOUT OWEN? EVERY YEAR I BITCH ABOUT THE HALL OF FAME PICKS. GIVE OWEN HART HIS DUE YOU FUCKERS.

According to a source in Florida Championship Wrestling, Harry "DH" Smith" is set to be called back up to the Raw roster any week now and become the newest member of Randy Orton's "Legacy" faction.

Smith has been off WWE television since last May. Shortly there after, Smith was drafted to SmackDown as part of the 2008 WWE Supplemental Draft. Smith, however, returned to Florida Championship Wrestling on August 26, without making his SmackDown debut. He made the decision to return to WWE's developmental promotion on a full-time basis so he could mature, and put more effort into developing his in-ring work and his personality.

In October, WWE put Smith together with long-time friend TJ Wilson with the intent to call them up to the main roster as "The New Hart Foundation" with SmackDown Diva Natalya as their manager. In the meantime, the two won the FCW Florida Tag Team Championships, defeating Joe Hennig and Sebastian Slater. Smith & Wilson lost the belts to Tyler Reiks and Johnny Curtis on December 11 at a FCW television taping. The title loss appeared to be as a result of the team finally getting called up to SmackDown, but that was not the case.

Officials had pegged Smith & Wilson to feud with Carlito & Primo Colon over the WWE Tag Team titles, but went with The Brian Kendrick and Ezekiel Jackson instead. That put Smith & Wilson back on the drawing board.

With Smith's forthcoming call-up to the main roster, Wilson will be left to fend for himself once again. It's going to be tough as Wilson's partnership with Smith was perhaps his best chance at getting called up to the main roster because he is a bit on the small side.

Batista's website is stating that he can begin to work out his legs in 6-weeks. Batista is currently recovering from surgery to repair a torn hamstring.

Jim Ross posted another blog entry this afternoon on his official website. Here are the highlights: Another John Cena finishing move name change: "John Cena's submission hold formerly known as the STFU is now going to be called the STF....that should stop the presses." Recent lunch with TNA Superstar Mick Foley: "I had lunch Thursday in Miami with Mick Foley who is related to marriage to the Oklahoma offensive line coach James Patton. Mick was down with his Dad to attend the BCS National Championship game. Mick wanted to buy lunch but I told him it would kill his image and that "the boys" wouldn't believe it any way. Luckily, the famously frugal Foley will never be broke." The latest on "Dr. Death" Steve Williams: "Dr. Death is now working for Southwest Airlines in Denver and doing really well. We still want to raise 18K to help Doc get a "hands free" devise installed in his throat so he can more easily communicate. Yours truly is flying SW Monday to KC to meet up with the "World's Angriest Announcer." The upcoming Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir UFC match: "Sources say that the Lesnar vs. Mir fight might take place in Montreal but I feel that Vegas is more likely and certainly Las Vegas can use the economic shot in the arm. Plus Vegas is the UFC HQ."

WWE is running an angle at house shows, where MVP gets frustrated after his loss and then quits the company. They have been doing the angle for close to a week, including last night's house show in Poplar Bluff, MO, after a match with Kizarny. The feeling is that they are testing it out so that they can eventually run it on TV. They've been doing this for weeks now.

For those who still don't know even after watching RAW this week where they plugged the hell out of it, Vince McMahon returns next week. Also on the show will be Mike Knox vs. Rey Mysterio and CM Punk vs. William Regal for the IC title once again. That match will be No DQ.

The first two guys shown being 'fired' in the Vince McMahon return "you're fired" montage were TNA stars Kurt Angle and Mick Foley. Think that's just a coincidence? Think again.

Melina vs. Beth Phoenix for the Women's title will take place at the Royal Rumble as announced on RAW this week. Edge vs. Jeff Hardy for WWE title and John Cena vs. JBL for the World title are also both confirmed. Of course, we'll have the 30-man over the top Royal Rumble match itself which usually lasts about an hour or so.

WWE aired a commercial here in Albany, NY promoting the Glens Falls, NY WWE SD! live event set for March 1st, 2009. They announced Mr. Kennedy vs. The Big Show so Kennedy's in-ring return is not far off. They also announced a main event of Triple H and Jeff Hardy vs. Kozlov and Edge.

HELLO MYSPACERS AND WWE FANS,

To promote the release of his upcoming movie, Behind Enemy Lines - Colombia, Mr. Kennedy will be holding a DVD signing on January 7th, 2009 at FYE in Philadelphia. For complete details on the January 7th signing, you can call (215)-496-8338.

The Edge: "Decade of Decadence" DVD set will have an "Ultimate Fan Edition" released by Best Buy. The "Ultimate Fan Edition" will include an Edge skullcap, a WWE trading card and more.

WWE has been offering long-term contracts to several big starts with clauses that strongly favor the company. WWE has offered Rey Mysterio a 5-year contract and Randy Orton a 10-year control, where they barely provide any ways out of the contracts for the wrestler, bit are filled with out clauses that would let the company out of the deal.

For example, if there is a three-year contract, WWE could break it at any time with just 90 days notice. Some top starts have enough leverage to broker better deals, but the company still is strict about protecting themselves with out clauses.

In Mysterio’s case, they company would be protected if Rey suffered another injury or Randy Orton had a serious meltdown and the company wanted out of the deals. In the case of an injury, WWE merely pays the downside guarantee, so there is incentive for the wrestlers to continue working. The policy was put in place in response to various wrestlers who milked WCW’s guaranteed contract system. This leaves the performers with very little leverage.

If the talent is locked in for a long-term deal, but the company can opt out at any time they please, it’s basically a no lose situation for WWE.

Yahoo! Sports has an article on Carolina Panthers running back combination, DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, noting WWE Champion Jeff Hardy and ECW Champion Matt Hardy as helping to make possible the tremendous professional bond that has formed between them. The two were brought closer together by their common love for the North Carolina natives and World Wrestling Entertainment.

SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman has posted an amusing photo of himself relating to a former 1980s WWE Superstar. Visit fans.WWE.com to see it.

TheDeadbolt.com has an interview with John Cena, discussing the recent trip to Iraq and the WWE Tribute to the Troops show. Here are some of the highlights: On the Divas Being the Top Attraction: "I don't care how many championship belts I could bring over there. I could bring fireworks. I could bring anything. Those girls certainly hold the number one spot. They are saints for going over there. They are so beautiful and so great to the troops. And the guys just absolutely love them. They are the superstars on that trip." On Changes to the Media Coverage of the War: "Well, honestly, it's real positive over there, man. I mean, the biggest drawback is the fact that these guys and gals are doing the same thing everyday. They're just so proud to be making gains and to be making progress. It's visual progress. It's like not running into your friend for a year and then seeing them a year later. You notice the changes right away, if there are any. Going back every December, you can see the changes every single year. Every single year it gets better. And not only can you visibly see the changes, when you hear statistics like casualties down in the division in Camp Liberty by 75%, it just goes to show that it's coming together over there. I don't know. It's a tough situation because you never want to be in conflict. But it's always a positive idea to know that what they're doing over there is actually working." On What he Brings Back From the Trips: "I think the word has gotten out over there that I'm a little bit of a stooge for military souvenirs because - One thing I always try to get for myself is - a little [key tick] that I have, myself, is a combat fired shell of munitions, whether it be a 762 or 50-caliber, or, you know, whatever I can find that's actually been used. And I kind of fill it with dirt from Iraq. So I got five of those at my house, one for every year that I've been over there, which is kind of something that I take for me."

WWE developmental performer Angela Fong is said to have the most potential at this stage of training of any WWE women's wrestler in a quite some time. Fong's athleticism is far and away above any of the women on the current roster, including the likes of Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix or former WWE Diva Trish Stratus, who were accomplished athletes before joining the wrestling business. Although it should be noted that Fong is a former gymnast and cheerleader. Fong is said to be significantly better at the same stage of training as Gail Kim was, not to mention actually significantly better athletically that Kim even is now. With that being said, Fong is by no means close to ready for television matches in WWE, although she has started getting feet wet in Florida Championship Wrestling after starting out as a manager. Fong's pure athleticism is said to be on the level of the top Japanese women's wrestlers, and she does things like bridging out of pins and moves reminiscent of that style and era. Fong, now simply going under the name Miss Angela in FCW, tried out for the 2007 WWE Diva Search, but didn't make the final cut. WWE would later sign Fong to a developmental contract in February 2008.

Tyson Tomko was seen sporting his arm in a sling the day after the Raw taping. He is dealing with a torn pectoral muscle according to sources. Some people in WWE believe Tomko went into his dark match at Raw in Pittsburgh against Paul Burchill with the injury, but didn't inform management.

While Tomko got a good reaction from the Pittsburgh crowd, including a "Let's go Tomko" chant early during his dark match, Vince McMahon wasn't too pleased with what he saw according to those backstage. McMahon was unhappy with Tomko's dark match, according to several sources. A video of Tomko's dark match has surfaced online and one minute in, he was unable to take a proper snapmare from Burchill. His work in the match was said to be really off compared to his solid/great work in TNA. It could have just been an 'off' night as it happens to the best of us. Nobody is perfect.

In light of McMahon's reaction to the bout, this led to a lot of talk within WWE that Tomko's return to the company may be a short one. A number of people in WWE were immediately parroting McMahon's feelings over the last few days, also noting he looked heavier for the match. This could indicate that he was unable to work out properly with the pectoral tear?

Some rumors on Tomko being released from the WWE have already surfaced, but they have yet to be confirmed. More talents releases are expected to be made over the next month.

In a recent blog entry, Torrie Wilson revealed that she recently shot a commercial for JBL's Mamajuana Energy Drink. Wilson will be going to Miami to do publicity work for the drink as well.

Kevin Thorn's profile is back up on the ECW Superstar page on WWE.com. Thorn was brought in for this past week's television shows, but wasn't used. He recently returned to action at Florida Championship Wrestling under his trademark vampire gimmick. Thorn was last seen on WWE television just over a year ago.

SmackDown Diva Maria did more media rounds in the New York area this morning promoting tomorrow night's Tribute to the Troops show on NBC, appearing on FOX 5's Good Day New York as well as WFAN radio 1050 AM this morning. As reported earlier, she appeared on Opie & Anthony this past Wednesday. She talked for 40 minutes. It should be noted that the interview contains some adult content. According to WWE.com, she is scheduled to appear at the NY National Boat Show today at 6:00 p.m. EST. Boat show admission is $15.00 for adults with no additional charge in meeting Maria. The show is being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. For more information on the show, visit www.NYBoatShow.com.

Jim Ross has posted a blog saying his Q & A Section has been updated. He made note of the letter regarding a fan getting kicked out at a recent event (this past Sunday's Armageddon pay-per-view). J.R. wrote: "Also, I am not responding to questions about a fan who recently got kicked out of a WWE event as I did not see it nor did any one mention it to me so I don't know the story behind it or how to address it. Obviously it is unfortunate and hopefully the individual will continue to be a fan." Ross also commented on Lance Cade referring to the commentary that followed his release as "cryptic" in an online interview this past week. Cade said, "I wasn't so much upset that, they could have just released me and not said anything. You know what I mean? But J.R.'s cryptic blog, it surprised me a little bit. I wasn't happy about it. But, J.R.'s got a job. He's gotta do what he's gotta do. I understand there had to be some business reason behind it, so I saw it the next day, I put it in the back of my head, you know?" Here is J.R.'s response: "I also received a few emails asking me to respond to an internet interview that Lance Cade did where he described my blog as 'cryptic' which at times it may be. That may be a kind way of describing my writing. Nonetheless for those of you that recall, I expressed my disappointment in what occurred with Lance and that I hoped to see him back in the WWE someday. I think Lance has great potential which I made clear at the time. My intent on writing about it was based on so much erroneous info on why Lance and the WWE parted company and I never meant it as a sign of disrespect directed at a young man that I stated then that I liked and that I still do. Lance has certainly taken the hand that was dealt to him like a man and with that type of attitude he will be just fine going forward. The business doesn't have an over abundance of men with Lance Cade's size and athletic ability who actually knows what he's doing from bell to bell. In hindsight, I wish I had simply ignored the issue and the fans who were emailing me."

The Tribute to the Troops special won't air on NBC tomorrow night in Baltimore as the station will be airing the Cowboys/Ravens game. The show may air overnight though.

WWE.com has already changed Deuce's profile on WWE.com. It now has him going by the new name he announced Monday Night, Sim Snuka.

Recently released ECW backstage announcer Lena Yada has a blog thanking WWE for her time in the company. Here is what she wrote: Thank you to everybody for all your support and love throughout my time with WWE. Even all of you who were my non-fans, because that still meant you noticed me ;-) This has been such a wonderful experience and I would not trade it for the world. Thank you to everyone at WWE for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their company/family. For almost a year I traveled to cities across America and even London to entertain audiences that only WWE could bring in. I said it before and I'll say it again: WWE has the best fans in the world! Special thanks to all of the people that worked behind the scenes to make all of this happen: writers, agents, travel, PR, Vince (of course), wardrobe, camera crew. And a very special thanks to all the wrestlers and divas that I became close with. Because of all these people, going to work every week didn't seem like work. This is the first job I can honestly say that I looked forward to going to every week. Thank you WWE, and thank you fans for the time of my life! Much Love,Lena Yada She also has a somewhat cryptic blog talking about what she learned this past year and what the new year may hold. Yada also notes in another blog that she has plans to auction off some of the clothing she wore in WWE on eBay.

Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis was named an All-American for the third time. Laurinaitis is only the second player in history to be named to the All-American team three times. He is of course the son of former WWE Superstar "Road Warrior" Animal, and nephew of WWE's Senior Vice President of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis. WWE acknowledged his honor on the company website.

Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro has a new blog talking about what she's been up to lately. She talks about her dog (who was recently killed after running on to the road), the holiday season, music, and more. In a passing note, she said might work out at a wrestling ring this coming week, as she hasn't been in one in quite a while. Massaro wrote: "So I think this week I might head down to the ring here and work out some, just for fun for now, havent been in one in a while and I feel like messin around."

WWE has posted preview videos promote tomorrow's Tribute to the Troops event on NBC.

Mick Foley's profile has been put on the WWE Alumni section. It was removed shortly after his departure from the company this past September.

Former WWE Diva Trish Stratus has a blog talking about reaching her goal of the fans raising $5,000 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Overall, $5,325 was raised."Combining the online contributions with the funds we received at the holiday party at Stratusphere (as well as funds sent via the mail to the studio) the Heart and Stroke Foundation called me with a great birthday surprise - needless to say they were absolutely thrilled at the official number following the event (and actually quite shocked that we raised that much in just under 2 weeks - which I do concur is amazing!)," Stratus wrote. "You guys, we totally rock - I'm so proud of the job we did! Thank you to everyone who contributed - doesn't feel good to know you are helping to make a difference? Again, I do concur (favorite new word of the day)!" Stratus also talks about the outpouring of support for her birthday, meeting fans at her Stratusphere yoga studio last night, and more.

As noted, it was Trish Stratus' birthday yesterday. The former WWE Women's Champion turned 33 years old. It was also the birthdays of Rob Van Dam (38) and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (44). Trish is expected to attend RAW next Monday from Toronto.

ON THIS EDITION OF WHO GIVES A FUCK....

TMZ has learned Linda Hogan was involved in a fender bender in Clearwater, Fla. earlier this afternoon. It happened less than a quarter mile from where her son Nick infamously crashed in August 2007.

Cops on scene tell TMZ Linda's white Mercedes was rear-ended by a red Camaro. The Camaro suffered the majority of the damage -- Linda's car only suffered "minor" damage.

Her son-alike BF Charlie Hill arrived on the scene shortly afterwards.

A witness on the scene tells us from their vantage point, Linda was not at fault.

IS IT ME OR ALL THE HOGANS BAD DRIVERS??????

HELLO MYSPACERS AND WWE FANS,

Lance Cade broke his silence on on his departure from World Wrestling Entertainment in an interview with World Wrestling Insanity this past week. If you recall, SmackDown play-by-play man Jim Ross told the world on his blog that the former WWE Tag Team Champion was released after having a "seizure" during a flight. Cade commented on J.R.'s blog post during the interview. "Well, as far as the release goes, I'm going to flat out admit there's no one else to blame for what happened but Lance Cade. And there's only one person who has to deal with that right now and that's Lance Cade. Even more important than Lance Cade is his family. So, you know, what happened was my mistake, Cade said. "I wasn't so much upset that, they could have just released me and not said anything. You know what I mean? But J.R.'s cryptic blog, it surprised me a little bit. I wasn't happy about it. But, J.R.'s got a job. He's gotta do what he's gotta do. I understand there had to be some business reason behind it, so I saw it the next day, I put it in the back of my head, you know?" Cade wants the fans to know that he takes responsibility for what happened that led to his release. "If I were WWE, I would have fired me too," Cade said. However, he wanted fans to know that he never once received a Wellness Violation – even for marijuana - which he believes is a silly reason for a violation anyway. Cade said his record was clean until the day he was let go. To listen to the interview in its entirety, visit www.WorldWrestlingInsanity.com.

Kara "Cherry" Slice, who was released by World Wrestling Entertainment this past August, is leaving the wrestling business at the end of this year to focus on her education. She will not be taking part in any more independent shows for the time being. Slice was scheduled to appear at the Women Superstars Uncensored indy show on 1/10, but told the promoter she was leaving the wrestling business and pulling out of the show as a result. WSU's promoter posted a note on the company's message board explained why she's off the show. He wrote: "As reported earlier, Kara "Cherri" Slice is leaving the wrestling business at the end of the year. She is pursuing her education and won't be doing any indy shows for the foreseeable future. Kara apologized to WSU and the fans about this situation."

In light of Gene Snitsky's release from World Wrestling Entertainment, this past Thursday, you could say that the company really gave up on pushing him as a money player over a year ago.

While Snitsky garnered a number of victories on episodes of Heat, house shows and dark matches (although, he did his fair share of jobbing as well), he had not garnered a pinfall victory on an episode of Raw in over a year. Snitsky's last pinfall victory on an episode of Raw took place on November 5, 2007 in a win over a local wrestler (former XPW & WSX wrestler Kid Kaos).

After serving for months virtually exclusively for Heat and seemingly at the end of his rope in the company (he lost to Umaga in about a minute in his last singles match on Raw under his former look), officials gave him second chance and repackaged him under a new gimmick as a psychotic madman. Promos would begin to air on ECW on Sci Fi in early 2007, signaling Snitsky's renewed push in the organization. Snitsky would debut a bizarre fully-shaved look with dark yellow stained teeth soon after and enjoy a virtually loss-free run before returning to Raw following the 2007 WWE Draft. Snitsky's loss-freak streak continued on Raw and he didn't suffer a pinfall loss until a whopping ten months into his push in a loss to Jeff Hardy on December 3, 2007.

Following his clean pinfall loss to Hardy, Snitsky's push in WWE was for all intents and purposes, over. Snitsky lost the majority of his television matches, but was usually put over on the Internet-based show WWE Heat in a half-hearted attempt to keep him as a monstrous threat. He actually did manage to garner at least one pinfall victory in 2008, which took place on the 3/25 edition ECW as he pinned Tommy Dreamer in a 24-Man Tag Team Match promoting the 24-Man Interpromotional Battle Royal at WrestleMania. Although, Snitsky was squashed by Batista in about a minute during the SmackDown portion of the show later that night. Following the match, Batista assaulted Snitsky with a steel chair.

As the months wore on, Snitsky was progessively used less and less on Raw, often going weeks at a time without wrestling on the show. By this point, Snitsky was primarily used to put over talent getting pushes of their own. It's interesting to note that in his two encounters with CM Punk, it took several minutes for Punk to finish off Snitsky (even when Punk was the World Heavyweight Champion), whereas in the case of Santino Marella, it only took him about 90 seconds in their one match.

If you're wondering why Snitsky received countless opportunities to get over (which most wrestlers don't receive) and managed to evade multiple talent purges despite the audience's repeated apathy towards him, it is because head honcho Vince McMahon was a huge supporter of the yellow-toothed grappler, at least according to a November 2007 issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. At the time of the report, Snitsky was in the midst of his seemingly never-ending push. Also, McMahon has a well known fetish for big, muscle-bound wrestlers, and there's not too many wrestlers out there larger than Snitsky. Despite Snitsky's huge physical stature, it would appear that McMahon eventually lost interest in trying to push him as a big player in WWE, hence his sporadic appearances and frequent losses on Raw in 2008.

Here is Snitsky's television record since his last pinfall victory on November 5, 2007 (not including Heat). In the seventeen television matches since his last pinfall victory on Raw, he only managed to get one pinfall victory on either of the main shows.

11-26-07: Loss to Triple H and Jeff Hardy when Triple H pinned Umaga

07-08-08: Pinfall loss to World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk

11-24-08: Pinfall loss to CM Punk (Intercontinental Championship Tournament Match)

For people wondering about MVP's losing streak (now at 19 consecutive losses on television), he was told it was being done because the company is mad about giving guys such as Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley huge pushes only to see them leave. The word going around is that they're doing this to MVP now not as a booking reprisal, but as a way to make sure he's willing to stick out for the long haul. MVP feels this is the real reason for the losing streak, apparently not realizing everyone else they are high on and grooming for the future also don't have losing streak storylines.

Santino Marella has graced his first magazine cover. Marella is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated, which asks if he deserves the WWE Intercontinental Championship, which of course, he has since lost. Due to his limitations and foibles, the magazine believes he's not the right man for the belt. Within the feature, there's a side article on The Honky Tonk Man's Intercontinental Championship title run.

Chris Cage and Ryan Reeves have re-signed with WWE, and have started with Florida Championship wrestling. Cage has already been given a new name, which may be an indicator that Christian Cage is returning to the WWE soon.

ESPN's Bill Simmons has a column up, discussing The Wrestler and how the character of Randy "The Ram" ties into many of the wrestlers that have passed away in the last 10-years.

SmackDown! Diva Maria Kanellis appeared on XM's The Opie and Anthony Show this morning promoting this Saturday's Tribute to the Troops telecast on NBC. She plugged the show, talked about being a wrestler, and of course, there was the usual potty talk, which she took in stride. During the interview, Maria said she's currently dating a WWE cameraman.

In the latest edition of "OMG Moment of the Week" on WWE.com, Joey Styles is shown interviewing The Great Khali at Sunday's Armageddon pay-per-view when Mae Young comes and asks for another kiss from Khali. Khali and Ranjin Singh run away, leaving Styles by himself with Mae Young. Young kisses Styles twice, which seems to gross the former ECW announcer out. You can see the video at WWE.com.

HELLO MYSPACERS AND WWE FANS,

WHAT YOU DIDN'T SEE AT ARMAGEDDON.

The Destroyer" Dick Beyer was in attendance at the Armageddon PPV

Lilian sang the American anthem.

- Cena threw his hat in the camera section, a guy jumped the barrier to grab it and he got kicked out.

- After the Jeff hardy celebration, Matt Hardy came out and celebrated for like 10 minutes with his brother.

YOU CAN SEE THEM CELEBRATE AT THIS LINK...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rrQwNVp3xw&eurl=http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/stories/EXCLUSIVE_VIDEO_Jeff__Matt_Hardy_Celebrate_At.shtml

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEdnOWPtJPU&eurl=http://www.ewrestlingnews.com/stories/EXCLUSIVE_VIDEO_Jeff__Matt_Hardy_Celebrate_At.shtml

- Edge was seen outta nowhere on the titantron wearing the announcers headset in a daze. While the ref was helping Edge out and up the ramp, he was selling a great limp while wearing Jerry Lawlers crown.

- Triple H came in and gave Hardy a handshake and a hug for congrats.

While commentary stated that Rey Mysterio suffered a broken nose last night at Armageddon, Rey is actually fine. The spot came at the end of the match where CM Punk used the "GoToSleep" for the victory, and it looked as if he caught Mysterio right in the nose, and Rey was bloodied up after the match.

Punk was also bleeding from the nose last night after the match, but he is also said to be fine.

The following was submitted by reader Derek Greser regarding an incident his friend was involved in at this past Sunday's Armageddon pay-per-view in Buffalo. WWE Fan Robbed of History By: Derek Greser 11/15/08 This past Sunday at WWE Armageddon 2008, history was made. In a shocking conclusion to the event, Jeff Hardy captured the WWE Championship. This would mark the first time that the high-flying Superstar would capture what is considered to be crown jewel of the sports entertainment business. Any fan of the WWE and/or Jeff Hardy can tell you this has been a long time coming. The event emanated from HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY. The event marked the 2nd ever Pay-Per-View event in the city and venue's history, as well as its first major title change. 29-Year-Old Tom Griffith attended the event, and had front-row seats. Tom has been a 20-year tenaciously loyal fan of the WWE. I know Tom personally and I can say that without question, the WWE is one of the biggest passions in his life. Tom has attended over 25 live events in Buffalo, Toronto, Philadelphia and Rochester. He has purchased countless WWE DVD's and box-sets (many on their release date), video games, memorabilia, clothing, and roughly $7000 dollars on pay-per-view events. Unfortunately for Tom, he was not able to witness history. Prior to the main event, Armageddon featured a mid-card bout between Batista and Randy Orton. Tom, an avid fan of Randy lead his friends in a raucous chorus of boos Batista's entrance. They even dared to direct a naughty hand gesture (The same that mega-star Stone Cold Steve Austin used on television for years) at the 300 plus lb. powerhouse dubbed "The Animal". Batista himself made eye contact with Tom and his friends, and got right in their face before ascending the ring apron. Due to the quality of Tom's seats, this was clearly visible to fans at home as well as in the arena. Tom then received a signal from one of the cameramen working outside the ring. This WWE employee made the "slit the throat" gesture at Tom which universally means "cut it out". Tom nodded, and decided that he had expressed himself enough. Minutes later, approximately 8 imposing looking men dressed in gray suits asked if they could speak with Tom in the aisle. Tom obliged and was then walked out of the arena, concluding in the gray suits tearing his ticket up in front of him. The explanation Tom was given was "The person renting this building tonight has requested you be removed from it". Tom spent the rest of the event outside in the freezing rain waiting for his friends who were still inside to drive him home. In the past, WWE has encouraged their fans to express themselves. Vince McMahon has encouraged fans to bring signs to their support, or anti-support of his performers. This leads to the question; why was Tom removed? He was not involved in an altercation with anyone performing at or attending the event. He was not publically intoxicated. The only possible reason Tom was removed is that the powers-that-be at WWE wanted to protect the image of their Superstar Batista, who is presented as a fan-favorite. The right thing to do here is to refund Tom's ticket price. In the interest of fairness, this should be the very minimum. The best case scenario is to give Tom priority seating at the next WWE event at HSBC to make up for this obvious mistreatment of a great patron and fan. This article will be sent to World Wrestling Entertainment as well as HSBC Arena and Tickets.com. The ball is now the court of these companies. Will any of them step up to right this wrong? I am asking for the support of the Pro-Wrestling community to please let Tom's story be heard. Let's protect the right to express ourselves as fans, and paying customers. - Derek Greser

MATT HARDY COMMENTS ON HIS BROTHER JEFF'S BIG WIN.

Matt Hardy posted the following on his WWE Universe blog regarding his brother's WWE championship win last night: First and foremost, I want to congratulate my brother Jeff-I am SO proud of him for never giving up of never being detoured. Tonight history was made. Jeff and myself, as the Hardy Boyz, are one of the greatest, most legendary tag teams in the professional wrestling business. That can not be denied, regardless of how smart of a fan or critic you are. We broke barriers in Ladder Matches, Tables Matches, TLC Matches, and several other areas. We semi-main evented Wrestlemania, we did everything you could do as a tag team. At the risk of sounding overconfident, for the record, we have sold more merchandise than any tag team in the history of the business. That is a fact. We have the greatest fans in the world-they've made all these things happen. When a great tag team splits, one member usually goes on to be great while the other one struggles. That's not the case with us, nor ever will be. We are the first ever true blood brothers to go on to have extremely successful singles careers and both become World Heavyweight Champions. That has never been done in the WWE. Thanks again to all of our supporters and the people who have stuck with us through thick and thin. And I can promise you this-we're just getting started on our singles success journey. Look at my default picture-a picture say a thousands words-this one is no different. Jeff and I LOVE our diehard supporters, because without them, we would have never made it this far. And there's NO ONE, regardless of how smart or sarcastic they are, that can put a dent in this amazing feat we've achieved. We've came quite a long ways from kids playing wrestlers on a trampoline and wrestling in the Southern Pines National Guard Armory for a couple bucks. We exemplify a living, breathing dream that people can believe in. No one can take away what two little country boys from rural Cameron, North Carolina have accomplished. We wanna thank our Dad on Earth and our Mother in Heaven, I know she's looking down on us with a smile on her face and pride in her soul. We wanna thank everyone who has believed and supported us, you're more important to us than you could ever imagine. We wanna thank the critics and non-believers for driving us, hope you enjoy those negative words as you swallow them. We don't care about star ratings, match reviews, or what people out of our circle think about our "pushes" and careers (That's not a blanket statement directed towards everyone, some peeps "get" what we're doing actually).. We most importantly care about satisfying our casual fans, giving back to the kids that are wrestling fans (which at one time was us), and being examples of success that people can be motivated by. I love my brother more than you'll ever know-and I have NEVER been more proud of him than I am right now. God bless you all, I can't say thank you enough. Dreams do come true-Matt and Jeff Hardy are proof of that. Matt Hardy ECW World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy WWE World Champion

There was a big sports-themed autograph show this past weekend in Secaucus, New Jersey. Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Tammy Sytch, Brutus Beefcake and Tito Santana were among the names in attendance.

Over the weekend, "At the Movies" named The Wrestler the best movie of the year.

DH Smith and TJ Wilson lost their Florida Championship Wrestling tag team titles to Tyler Rex (also known as Gabe Tuft) and James Curtis at this past Thursday's Florida Championship Wrestling television taping, reports FloridaIndies.com. Reiks & Curtis defeated Smith & Wilson in a non-title match as well as a follow-up tag team title match later in the night. This should be a good indication that the two are coming up to the SmackDown roster very soon with their "New Hart Foundation" act, hence the title change. The duo worked a dark match with Natalya as their manager two weeks ago before a SmackDown taping. Smith & Wilson now wear black tights with a pink maple leaf on them. WWE will be in the trio's home country of Canada next Monday for a WWE Supershow featuring that week's Raw & SmackDown tapings.

ProWrestling.net is reporting that WWE officials have soured on R-Truth, aka Ron Killings. The Truth entered WWE with a series of video packages and a lot of hype, and was met with warm fan response. After seeing the fan reaction, there was even talk within WWE that he could be the next 'chosen one.' However, WWE officials have quickly turned cold on his in-ring performances. His push has been stalled because they feel that his basic wrestling skills are limited.

Word going around is that management feels he should improve in the ring and even though he can hit the flashy spots, he needs to go back and work on the basics.

I THINK HE IS SUCH  A POSERPOSER

CNN.com has an interview with Raw Superstar Kofi Kingston regarding the SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 video game. Kingston said it was a career goal to be featured in a video game. "It was one of my career goals to be in a video game," said Kingston. "I personally did not do my own motion capture of my moves, but they did do a body and facial scan." Kingston has been fan of wrestling video games for quite some time, and WrestleMania 2000 is his favorite game of all-time. "I would use the Create-a-Wrestler feature to make myself, and fight through career mode with it," he said.

The name of the new group featuring Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Manu will apparently now be called 'The Legacy'.

Tyson Tomko returned to the WWE at Raw last night  in Pittsburgh. Tomko defeated Paul Burchill in a dark match before the televised portion of the show began.

Stephanie McMahon announced on RAW this week that next week all former champions will compete in four matches. The matches announced for next week are Rey Mysterio vs. JBL, Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk, Randy Orton vs. Batista. and Shawn Michaels vs. Kane.

The four winners of those matches will face off a week later in a fatal four way with the winner of that facing Cena for the World Title at the Royal Rumble PPV.

After Raw went off the air tonight, World Heavyweight Champion John Cena defeated Chris Jericho in a street fight.

WWE dropped the case against Ed Leslie for using the "Brutus Beefcake" name. With the Hulk Hogan CCW season ending, WWE decided that it wasn't worth going to court for.

Infrequently seen Raw Superstar Deuce has a new gimmick to go along with a new ring name. Prior to his match with Rey Mysterio on last nights edition of Raw, Deuce got on the mic and revealed his father as Jimmy Snuka, and that he wants to be known by his "real name" of Sim Snuka from this day forward (his real name is James William Reiher, Jr. for anyone wondering). Snuka is the adopted son of the WWE Hall of Famer. The match ended in disqualification after Cody Rhodes and Manu, who were sitting ringside, interfered and attacked Mysterio. Officials had been thinking about repackaging Reiher in a gimmick acknowledging his relation to Jimmy Snuka ever since he was drafted to the Raw brand as a part of the 2008 Supplemental Draft. As you can see, they didn't get to it until nearly six months later. For those wondering, Jimmy Snuka himself was backstage at RAW but was not used. They actually flew him in to the show so plans must have changed because I believe they had planned to use him.

WWE.com has exclusive video of John Cena commenting on retaining his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon. You can see the after-show video at WWE.com.

Shawn Michaels will be doing some rare autograph signings after Christmas. The first takes place on December 27 at George's Collectibles, located at 7755 New Falls Road, Levittown, PA from 2 to 4 PM. The second takes place on December 28 at New York Sports World, located at 790 Westfield Sunrise Mall, Massapequa, NY from 1 to 3 PM. That same night, he is scheduled to take on Randy Orton at the Madison Square Garden house show.

Jim Ross is back with another blog, which can be read at JRsBarBQ.com in its entirety. Some highlights: Jeff Hardy's WWE Title Win: "Did Jeff Hardy go from enigma to icon with his WWE Title victory? Felt that way to me." Armageddon Main Event: "The Triple Threat main event (I'm Smackdown biased) was one of the best three-man bouts in the WWE in a long time. Amazing effort by all three men. Innovative and surprising are two words that come to mind when describing it. In all due respect, no other bout on the card could have successfully followed it." Lashley's MMA Debut: "If Bobby Lashley can evolve into a skilled, MMA fighter, a potential match with former WWE alum could be a promoter's dream. There are lots of variables in this equation but 'potentially' this match up could eventually look good from a marketer's perspective. I realize that Brock (Lesnar) is one a much higher level, as we speak, but if Lashley hooks up with the right people no one can deny how good Bobby can potentially become."

For those who may have missed it over the weekend, "Mad Dog" Mike Bell, a Northeastern independent wrestler best known for his enhancement work in WWE and a regular performer during the latter end of ECW's run, passed away Sunday afternoon. He was 37 years old. Bell was heavily featured in the recently released documentary film Bigger, Stronger, Faster. The film, produced by his brother Chris, was a study of anabolic steroids in both sports and the Bell family itself, where two of Chris' brothers (Mike and Mark) use them to further their own careers in professional wrestling (Mike) and bodybuilding (Mark). At the moment, there is no known cause of death, although in the documentary, he had previous health issues that were noted. When the film started getting reviewed, it was reported in the national media that Bell had previously attempted suicide. Bell broke into the wrestling business in the early 1990s, and despite all the years he worked in wrestling, he's probably best remembered by fans for an incident that took place in May 2001 before a Raw television taping. In a match in which he was scheduled to job to former WWE star Perry Saturn, Bell botched an arm drag, dropping Saturn on his head. Saturn appeared to become enraged and legitimately attacked Bell. Saturn threw Bell out of the ring with reckless abandon, then stiffly smacked his head into the metal steps outside the ring. Saturn ended up with a lot of heat over the incident at the time and it was rumored that Saturn's gimmick involving a love affair with a mop was punishment for the attack. WWE used Bell in his enhancement role as late as 2003, but was never signed to a contract by the company.

In recent months there has been speculation on who will play the lead role for the upcoming "Thor" movie, which is scheduled to be released in 2010. Speculation has centered on Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond in the latest "Bond" series of movies, and Triple H. This past week, Craig said he's not interested in taking the role, saying "it doesn't interest me at all." The other potential candidate to take the lead role of Thor is Kevin McKidd, who was in the 2005 "Kingdom of Heaven" movie. Director Kenneth Branagh said today, "There's been lots of talk [about casting] -- I sound like a politician -- but we are too early at this stage. We're getting the story and the visual effects together and all of that is very exciting. Someone sensational is going to play the part but it is early days." It should be interesting to see if Vince McMahon allows Triple H to take time off from the road for several months to work on a non-WWE Studios film.

Rey Mysterio has not signed a new contract as it had been reported. WWE wants to lock him up for five-years, while Mysterio wants to sign a three-year deal. Mysterio wants the out after three years, because if the wrestling scene gets hot again in Mexico he would likely get a good deal, for less guaranteed money, but would have, "upsides that go with being the top guy in a company."

Triple H retaliates with fist shots of his own. Edge whips Hunter off the ropes, gives him a boot, and gets a near fall. Triple H connects with a high knee on Edge. Reverse neck breaker from Triple H onto the WWE Champion. Hunter works with Edge in the corner. Triple H goes for the Pedigree on Edge in the middle of the ring but Hardy in for the save. Hunter takes out Hardy. Pedigree attempt on Edge, Hardy connects with Whisper in the Wind on both of his opponents. Jeff Hardy gets up first and goes for a pin on Edge, Triple H makes the save. The Game is taken out by Hardy. Hardy whipped into the corner by Edge. Hardy is down on the top turnbuckle, Edge gets up and locks in a suplex attempt. Hardy connects the Swanton Bomb out of nowhere, he gets the pinfall for the win!

Winner & new WWE Champion - Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy celebrates in the ring with the title, the crowd comes absolutely unglued. Hardy looks stunned, absolutely stunned. This has to be an emotional moment for the new WWE Champion. Hardy is going around and high-giving everyone. He threw his elbow sleeves in the crowd. Jeff is on top of the Armageddon set with the belt at the top of the ramp. Doesn't look safe but he literally just made it up a mountain he never thought that he would climb.

After the show went off the air, Matt Hardy came out and hugged Jeff. Matt and Jeff made their way back to the ring and slapped the fans' hands. Triple H then got up and shook Jeff's hand before walking out. Matt and Jeff continued to celebrate as the fans went home happy.

Batista was said to have looked disappointed backstage after his match with Randy Orton at Armageddon. The two never really clicked.

Michelle McCool will start as a full-fledged heel at this weeks SD! tapings. The angle where she walked out on the Great Khali made the heel turn 'official' even though the fans seemed to have cared less.

Mae Young was backstage at Armageddon and was used during the Khali kiss cam segment.

Earlier in the day, the catering truck bumped into WWE's production truck outside the arena. No big damage done.

Rey Mysterio was busted open the hard-way at Armageddon while taking CM Punk's GTS. I'm sure we'll hear more tomorrow but it looked like a possible broken nose. Mysterio looked like he was spitting up blood and really beat up as he left. Punk even came over and checked on him after the match.

Victoria was asked about the online report regarding her impending retirement from World Wrestling Entertainment prior to Armageddon. She said she was surprised to hear the report and that there's absolutely no truth to it. However, there have definitely been rumblings on Victoria looking to wind her career down. She is the only one who knows for sure but I'd be willing to bet that she is playing it off to people as just a 'rumor' until she makes the final decision.

The idea with the JBL-Shawn Michaels angle is that they are using Shawn as the character in the movie "The Wrestler."

Goldust was unable to appear at an indy show in Coral Springs, Florida last night because he had to fly into Buffalo for tonight's Armageddon pay-per-view. This was announced at the indy show.

Jim RoSsJim RoSsJim RoSsJim RoSsJim RoSs

Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section on his official website, JRsbarbq.com, and he defends wrestlers using Chris Benoit's former finishing hold, the "Crippler Crossface." Ross said, "Benoit wasn't the first man to use a cross face. Why do wrestlers use a headlock? It's a hold that works even though it was made famous by Ed 'Stranger' Lewis in the early 1900's." Ross also snaps at a reader who wrote (20 times) that he wanted to see Undertaker's WrestleMania streak end. Ross wrote, "Are you an idiot? You have sent me this email so many times it is sad. Please cease and stop embarrassing yourself. I swear you sent this 20 times word for word. Thank you." He also comments on why Stevie Richards failed to acheive more success in WWE. "You've placed Stevie in esteemed company. It simply may have been the 'it' factor as he was a great guy who I loved being around," Ross said. "I hope he finds the success he wanted in wrestling now in his post wrestling career. Guys like Stevie Richards would make great members of a creative team." Other topics discussed include whether J.R. keeps up with the indy wrestling scene, Brock Lesnar, and former Mid-South broadcaster Boyd Pierce. You can read his latest Q&A at http://www.jrsbarbq.com/jrs-qa
Ross on rumors of Undertaker retiring soon: "We are getting a ton of emails about the retirement of The Undertaker. I have heard NOTHING about this matter and would bet a black hat and a slab of ribs that 'Taker wrestles a few more years. Plus, for the record I don't ever see the Undertaker losing at a Wrestlemania no matter who he wrestles."

-- Ross on JBL: "JBL has been in the eye of the storm this week as far as 'rasslin gossip is concerned which sort of goes with the turf these days. Nonetheless I am impressed with how much weight John has lost over the past several months and I do know that his Mamajuana Energy Drink has been an important aspect of his weight loss which is getting close to a whopping 100 pounds. Obviously the product works and John has told me that taking it has helped him maintain his workouts which are a must to go along with common sense eating."

-- Ross on Ron Simmons being inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame: "Congrats to Ron Simmons for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Ron was a real stud at Florida State and a legit 3 time all American. One man never blocked the dominating nose guard including my Sooners who hooked up twice against Ron's FSU Seminoles in the Orange Bowl. The celebration for Ron becoming the first African American World's Champion in WCW that was held at the CNN Center was something special of which to be a part."

The E! Channel's popular clip show The Soup featured WWE in their special The Soup Presents - "Dudes, Bro---The Whacked Out Men of Reality TV" episode that aired this past Monday night. The clip features WWE Raw stars Randy Orton and Manu (and Cody Rhodes by Manu's side) in a backstage segment forehead to forehead apparently moaning at one another. Following the airing of the clip, The Soup host Joel McHale said, "In 30 years of watching wrestling, this is by far the creepiest and most homoerotic thing I've ever seen." The clip originally aired on an episode of The Soup a few weeks ago. In case you missed it, The Soup Presents episode featuring the clip of Orton & Manu replays tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Alfonso Castillo of Newsday.com has just posted some highlights from a roundtable discussion he took part in with "The Wrestler" star Mickey Rourke. Here are some highlights: On whether he tried to achieve the look of a certain wrestler: "Yeah, like Lex Luger. And then when we Googled him, we were surprised to see how he ended up." On meeting Roddy Piper at a screening: "He went on to pay us like highest compliments that we could wish for. And actually he got a little emotional about it. And it was kind of like, it was hard holding this guy and hearing him and talking back to him and understanding where he's been – the journey that he's been on and all the others that were like him. Because when your time has come and gone and that's the only thing you know, you can't go and be a godd--- bus boy somewhere. You just can't do it. And the options aren't a lot. And it's not very pretty." On what wrestlers he became close with during the movie: "Mainly, Dwayne Johnson's uncle. His name is Afa. He was one of the Wild Samoans back in the 80s. And I talked to The Rock the other day I told him, 'We're sending you [the movie] and we want to hear what you have to say, too.' And I didn't know it was his uncle. All the Samoans say they're related to each other. I thought when Afa's going on about his 'nephew,' 'Yeah, every Samoan is related to Dwayne Johnson.' And they are related. And when he spoke very fondly of him, it was like, 'Wow.' On learning to wrestle: "We had choreographed the wrestling matches pretty basically [with moves] that any half-assed athlete could do. And then what started to happen after about like two and a half months was, one of the guys was very gymnastically inclined. He, like, got bored and started doing these f---ing moves. And I thought, 'Wow. Man, I want to do that.' So I'd go in on Sundays with him alone and do it and not tell Darren. And so what I said was, 'I want to nail three or four f---ing moves that nobody could do.' And I got so hurt. I had three MRI's in two months. I've never flipped over in my life – like done back flip and a scissors into the ring. And I couldn't do it. Weeks would go by and I couldn't do it. And then you finally… If you work hard enough at anything in your life, you're going to f---ing do it." Rourke also talks about similarities between his life and that of his character in "The Wrestler," and his intense training regimen to look transform into a pro wrestler.

During a conference call promoting the Tribute to the Troops show airing on NBC next week, John Cena was asked about WWE's recent "news story" on Jeff Hardy being found unconscious prior to the Survivor Series pay-per-view in Boston last month being reported in the same context as a legitimate news story. "I didn't hear anything about that," Cena said before a reporter refreshed his memory. "Oh yeah. I can't believe CNN actually picked that up right? ... I don't know how to tell you this, but WWE stands for World Wrestling Entertainment. Have I answered your question?" Cena was also asked about this Sunday's Armageddon pay-per-view. "I'm just really, really happy to be back. I don't like sitting on the sidelines," Cena said. "I'm glad I could go on this Tribute to the Troops trip. I'm glad I could come back for Survivor Series, especially, and win the world heavyweight championship. And for me, this being my first heavyweight title defense on pay-per-view, those are always really, really important matches for us. So I just want to show the WWE fans that I haven't lost it. I haven't lost a step. I'm as healthy as I ever was. I'm as strong as I ever was. And I just don't want them to have any doubts about me." Cena also spoke out on the WWE Divas being the stars of the annual Tribute to the Troops tour, his new T-shirt being a take-off of the old AWA logo, and more.

In an interview with SLAM! Wrestling, former WWE star Mike "Mikey" Mondo commented on his experience as a member of the Spirit Squad. "To be honest, with the Spirit Squad, I didn't know what to expect or think, but personally I loved the gimmick," Mondo said. "All five of us embraced it and did everything we could to make it work and I think we did a very good job. My time with the Spirit Squad was probably the most fun I've had in my career so far." Mondo also comments on his journey to WWE, wrestling TNA star Jay Lethal on the indy scene on his way up, what he's been up to since his departure from WWE, and more.

Yesterday was  former ECW star Sabu's birthday. He turns 44 years old.

MORE DRAMA FOR YOUR MAMMA EDITION....drama queens

As we reported yesterday, there was a major backstage altercation that took place between former ECW announcer Joey Styles and former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield while WWE was overseas in Iraq over the weekend. There are new details on the actual scuffle that took place between the two.

JBL is known for being a lockerroom bully and he was giving it to Joey Styles all week. Over the weekend, Styles had enough and got in JBL's face. Several WWE employees jumped in to break it up and JBL, who had been drinking, broke free. He then charged at Styles, who punched him right in the face and knocked him down. JBL ended up with a black eye and a cut under his eye, which were somewhat visible on Monday's RAW. I've heard that Styles may have been wearing a ring but I am still unable to confirm that. JBL wore heavy make-up during the broadcast and tilted his cowboy hat down a bit to conceal his face. JBL spent most of Monday night by himself in the locker room, being very quiet and spending most of his time on his Blackberry phone.

Apparently there were a number of different things that JBL did to Styles during the course of the Iraq tour, all of which would have set a normal person off. Some of JBL's hazing was verbal and some was physical.

In a related note, there is an unwritten rule among WWE superstars that anybody who falls asleep on the airplane en route to an overseas tour is subject to pranks. It was reported last week that WWE ring announcer Lillian Garcia fell asleep on the way to Iraq and JBL dumped a bucket of ice on her.

Mickie James has posted a poem on the WWE Universe site entitled Taking Flight. The poem comes off a bit cryptic at times with the following stanzas: Besides... I am so tired of flying. My wings ache... No one truly knows how I long to land. I cant.. No! I won't let them... But its all I've ever really wanted. This time... I will not land in a trap. Only to be put on display as if I were a trophy piece.

Shawn Michaels has pitched to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 in Houston, Texas. Obviously 'Taker would go over Michaels but the feeling is that the payoff for both Superstars would be very nice. 'Taker is expected to be around full-time for at least another year or two.

» Since returning from maternity leave, Stephanie McMahon has tried shaking things up in the creative department. Stephanie is pushing for them to come up with better storylines and is not allowing them to phone it in on any programs.

» With the feeling that Steve Austin will be a part of WrestleMania 25, and with the recent drama between WWE and Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling, the feeling is that Hogan will not be a part of Wrestlemania 25 because the company "doesn't need him."

Following recent comments from the one and only Vince McMahon, DH Smith is pretty much a lock to return to the main WWE roster in the near future.

Smith, as well as tag team partner TJ Wilson, are scheduled to be called up to the SmackDown roster very soon. Upon their call-up, the two will be paired up with WWE Diva and long-time friend Natalya. The act worked a dark match prior to last week's set of SmackDown tapings, losing to WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito and Primo. Their eventual call-up all stems from a situation that occurred two months ago.

During a flight home to Connecticut, Vince McMahon was in a bad mood due to what he considered to be a bad week of television tapings. McMahon looked over a sheet of paper listing the entire roster -- including developmental talents down in Florida Championship Wrestling. McMahon saw the name Harry Smith, and railed on the creative team for letting this "Pedigree kid" sit on the sidelines. McMahon called Smith a "Pedigree kid" because he's linked to the legendary Hart family and people from wrestling families are always favored (which explains why so many of them have landed developmental contracts despite little to no prior wrestling experience). Well, McMahon went on and on about the creative team letting good, young talent such as Harry Smith waste away or get jobbed out.

Following McMahon's rant, Smith & Wilson were put together as a team in Florida to get them on track for their eventual call-up to the main roster.

In what was likely a first, Smith was actually called to the main WWE roster in late 2007 as a result of a failed drug test (he failed for the anabolic steroid Stanozolol, which is commonly sold under the name Winstrol). Following the Signature Pharmacy drug scandal, WWE said they were going to start publicly announcing all future WWE drug suspensions on November 1, 2007. As luck would have it for WWE, a week or two following the announcement, Smith failed his drug test. WWE held off his suspension for several weeks so they would have a main roster wrestler to announce to the public once the provision went into effect. At the time, Smith was still in developmental, so they could have quietly suspended him, or wait until November 1st, but he would have been a minor league wrestler at the time and his suspension would have likely been ignored by the media. WWE decided to call up Smith and give him a push right off the bat. He debuted on television in mid-October, got two straight wins, and was suspended two weeks later. This was to show everyone that wrestlers "getting pushed" could be suspended too.

Smith returned to the active roster in late December, but did little of note until being pulled from the road this past May. After his return from suspension, Smith would primarily wrestle on Heat. In his three wrestling appearances on Raw following the suspension, he actually never got a lick of offense in on any of his opponents. Umaga squashed Smith in under two minutes in February. He was pinned within thirty seconds by John Cena in that memorable Cena & Orton vs. "The Entire Raw Roster" match back in March. In May, he was written off of television as JBL beat him so badly he had to be carried out on a stretcher (which actually wasn't broadcast on TV, but rather, a small WWE.com video). For a a few weeks prior to his exit from the main roster, Smith began wrestling as a tweener, alternating between face and heel roles, and calling himself "The Canadian Bulldog" in hopes of giving a better identity.

In a recent interview, Smith claimed he made the call to return to developmental, feeling he needed to re-focus, mature, and develop his skills to be ready for his eventual return to WWE.

As noted earlier, WWE has plans to release WWE Legends of WrestleMania, a video game based on legends and alumni who have appeared at WrestleMania in the 1980s and 1990s. It will be released in March 2009 to coincide with WrestleMania XXV.

An updated list of characters for the upcoming Legends of Wrestlemania has been released -- 35 in all. The list of characters are as follows: Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, The Rock, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Undertaker, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Jerry "The King" Lawler, Ultimate Warrior, "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, Mr. Perfect, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Yokozuna, Haku, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Jim Ross, Sgt. Slaughter, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, Honky Tonk Man, Earthquake, Iron Sheik, Legion of Doom, "Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, Gorilla Monsoon, Mr. Fuji, Tito Santana, Joey Marella (as referee), Virgil and Howard Finkel.

Perhaps the biggest omission from the video is that of "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who competed at eight WrestleMania events in all and left the pay-per-view spectacular with the WWF Championship belt on two occasions. Another huge name that won't be featured in the game is Mick Foley, whose WWE contract expiration coincided with the deadline for characters to be featured in the video game.

It was reported back in September that Vince McMahon made the decision to pull Foley from the video game as a result of their personal fallout. He also made the decision to ban Randy Savage from the video game for reasons unknown.

The October 2008 issue of Power Slam had a note on the two legends' video game omissions in their "This Month In McMahon" column, which details the wacky behind-the-scenes exploits of the McMahons -- more specifically, Vince McMahon's unpredictable behavior. They wrote:

September 3: Mick Foley and his agent announce that Foley has signed with TNA. The rumour backstage is that Triple H's condescending treatment of Foley -- arising, allegedly, from Levesque's insecurity over the instrumental role their 1999-2000 matches played in making him a headliner -- is partly to blame for Foley's decision to leave.

In retaliation, Vince pulls Foley from the upcoming Legends of WrestleMania videogame and, furthermore, orders Randy Savage banned from the game as well -- rekindling decade-old rumours about some too-unpleasant-to-be-named scandal involving the McMahons and Savage in the 1990s.

John Bradshaw Layfield has a new blog entry on the WWE Universe site, but does not bring up the incident with Joey Styles. Instead, Layfield says he will send people his Layfield Energy product for free because he believes it will change their lives. At one point, Layfield weighed 330 pounds. He then took a product he personally developed and felt good for the first time since he remembered. "I got up one morning after that, weighing 330 pounds, and realized I needed to do something because I didn't like the way I looked or how I fel. So I took the product I developed; Layfield's Energy-Plus No Pain and Focus, and went across the street to do cardio at my local gym here in NYC. For the first time since I could remember I felt good, I didn't hurt and I had energy," Layfield wrote. "I repeated the process the next day. Same thing happened. After about six months when I finally weighed in below 250 pounds, I realized I was on to something. My concoction of Layfield Energy was, in my opinion, the fountain of youth." Layfield has lost 100 pounds and he plans on doing a photo session later this month documenting his 100 pound weight loss. Layfield added, "I want you to try it too. I am so convinced it will make your life better that I will send you some for free. That is how much I believe in this product. I will send it to you for FREE! Go to www.layfieldenergy.com and check it out now. I can tell you from personal experience a better life is to be had for those who try Layfield's Energy."

Recently released former on-air ECW General Manager Armando Estrada is scheduled to make an appearance this Saturday in Puerto Rico. Estrada will be appearing at World Wrestling Council's (WWC Abdullah the Butcher retirement show in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Other stars scheduled to appear at the event include Carlito & Primo Colon, Team 3D, TNA referee Shane Sewell, Sabu, former WWE wrestler Balls Mahoney, and Steve Corino.

RF Video will be releasing a shoot interview with former ECW Superstar Colin Delaney. For the first time, Delaney will discuss his rise to fame in World Wrestling Entertainment and how he captured the hearts of millions all across the world. He will discuss how he got his break in WWE, working with the likes of Tommy Dreamer, Big Daddy V, John Morrison, The Miz, Kane & Mark Henry, his stay in the ECW brand, and more. And that's not all. Here is a brief description of the interview: "Why did Colin turn heel on his best friend? What was it like to do promos with Vince? Who did he travel with and how hard was it keeping his spot in the WWE. He was only in the WWE for 8 months but everyone will remember the name Colin Delaney."

TNA star Kurt Angle has been telling friends that he is seriously considering returning to WWE once his TNA contract expires next fall. Angle has even gone so far as to state that he would jump ship to WWE if he had to make the decision right now.

Angle joined TNA in the fall of 2006 and has been unhappy with the creative direction of the company for quite some time. He's been vocal regarding his frustration with Jeff Jarrett's creative direction both publicly and during private conversations with Dixie Carter.

WWE officials would welcome Angle back to the company despite the negative things he said about Vince McMahon and his WWE experience when he left two years ago.

WWE would put Kurt on a limited schedule similar to those of Shawn Michaels and Undertaker. The obvious concern is whether Angle would have any Wellness Policy issues given his past problems with prescription pills.

Edge has been good friends with Christian (Jay Reso) and Kizarny (Nick Cvjetkovich), who we profiled last month, since childhood and he would like an opportunity to work together with both of them in WWE.

"If I could have Nick, Jay -- I mean we grew up together," Edge optimistically told Kenai Andrews on Slam Wrestling. "You never think all three of us could actually be in the same place."

The key in the mix is Christian, who Edge hopes will return to WWE, but also understands if he re-signs with TNA when his contract expires at the end of the year.

"He (Reso) has to do what's best for him," Edge said. "If it's being down there (TNA), than that's what he's got to do. But if it's being up here with us, I'd prefer that. It'd be great."

Edge isn't concerned about "rehashing" the Edge & Christian team, complete with five second poses and kazoos and weight-cutting and Mick Foley. He feels confident enough to reinvent the team if that were to occur.

"I have enough confidence in what I'm doing I won't let anything be a step back," Edge said. "If anything, just take it and make it work. I've tried to take that mentality with anything, even if I look at something and go 'Ooh. Ow. Oh well, make it work.' Just go full-bore with it, because if you sit there and piss and moan about it, it's probably not going to work."

Edge pointed to the Vickie Guerrero love interest storyline as one example of taking something and making it work as much as possible, saying "Like I did with the whole Vickie thing, it's like, 'You cool with this Vickie?' She said, 'Yeah.' I said, 'All right, that's cool.' She said Eddie would get a kick out of it, I was like, 'Sure, yeah, all right.'"

ON THIS EDITION OF YOUR FUCKING FIRED.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of Raw Superstar Gene Snitsky as of today, December 11. WWE wishes Gene the best in all future endeavors.

Gene Snitsky was released from WWE. Snitsky had been with WWE since October 2003, when WWE officials sent him to Ohio Valley Wrestling following an impressive RAW dark match. He made his WWE TV debut a year later, wrestling Kane on Monday Night RAW. His bio page has already been removed from WWE.com.

Here's the AP story on John du Pont, the murderer of Kurt Angle's Olympic wrestling coach David Schultz, being denied parole. MEDIA, Pa. (AP) — John du Pont, the multimillionaire chemical heir convicted of murdering an Olympic athlete in 1996, has lost a bid for parole. A jury found du Pont guilty but mentally ill in 1997 in the shooting death of gold medal-winning wrestler David Schultz. Du Pont was sentenced to 13 to 30 years in prison, but first was treated for three months at a state mental hospital. His attorney, Tara Wochok, says du Pont's parole petition was turned down last month. Delaware County District Attorney Michael Green says that was because of the brutal way in which Schultz died, and because the 70-year-old du Pont has not shown remorse. When he was killed, Schultz had been training at a wrestling facility at the compound where du Pont lived. Police arrested du Pont after a two-day standoff.
WWE stock has turned around in recent weeks, even though the company is not in substantially better or worse shape than it was a few weeks ago. It closed at $11.08 per share today, but hit $12.34 per share yesterday, it's best number in nearly a month. Three weeks ago, the stock hit an all-time low of $8.76 per share.

The WWE site has a feature on The Boogeyman as they look at his most notable moments in his WWE career. Boogeyman wrestled his first match in over fourteen months at this past Tuesday's ECW taping, defeating local wrestler Scott Reid in under a minute.

WWE has plans to release an official replica of the new ECW Championship in the near future.

The latest issue of WWE Kids Magazine has a feature in which CM Punk and Hornswoggle debate who smells worse. "CM Punk stinks," says Hornswoggle. "True, but Hornswoggle smells worse," replies CM Punk. As a result, WWE has created an online game – CM Punk vs. Hornswoggle Stink-Off! You can play the game at http://www.wwe.com/magazine/articles/punkvshorn

Talk within WWE is that some writers have wanted to do something with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H for months now but haven't had the time or the right place for it. The seeds were planted months back with a few references to their relationship that were inserted into promos. Two weeks ago on RAW during the exchange between Shane and Stephanie, WWE acknowledged Triple H and Stephanie's relationship again.

» WWE's television production crew had been and still may be under strict orders to not show full body shots of Stephanie McMahon's during her television appearances. Stephanie is said to be self conscious about her pregnancy weight, which is she is still having trouble losing. Her second pregnancy was never mentioned on television and she doesn't want to come across as if she's putting on weight. Since returning to television over a month ago, Stephanie still has yet to come down ringside, let alone wear a non-black slimming outfit.

Greg Disco, who worked in the Talent Relations department, was released last week. Disco worked directly under Ty Bailey and Mark Carrano. Several within the company believe his release has hurt the department. There are a lot of stories regarding people not getting phone calls returned this week, from that department.

» WWE has also dropped referee Mickey Henson (Mickie Jay). Henson had been out of action the past few months with undisclosed health problems and it was unknown if he would return. Henson was brought into the company in the fall of 2005 and asked to change his stage name due to the similarity to the name Mickie James.

» Thus far, WWE has released a total of 13 talents/producers. The cut list so far is as follows: D-Lo Brown, Val Venis, Bam Neely, Gavin Spears, Kevin Thorn, Mike Kruel, Ron Simmons, Sgt. Slaughter, Jim Korderas, Tim White, Mike Posey, Kevin Keenan and Mickie Henson. Reportedly, "several other names" were given from various sources saying they have also been let go, but the names in question have yet to be 100% confirmed. WWE still has yet to announce the departures of Gavin Spears, Ron Simmons and Mickie Henson as their respective profiles still remain on the company website. Jimmy Korderas' profile was quietly removed from the website without an announcement regarding his departure from WWE.

The Hogan divorce saga continues, here is the latest development. Linda Bollea (Hogan) now claims she has less than $200,000 in her bank account, and is considering writing a book about her marriage since she needs money to maintain her lifestyle. At this point, her attorneys are attempting to get her a share of $400,000 in frozen assets. The Hulkster pays his wife $40,000 per month in alimony, but she’s already spent $850,000 in legal fees on the divorce.

BUT YOU KNOW HOW THAT GOES THINGS CHANGE.

WWE Divas Champion Maryse made her return at last night's double SmackDown taping in Omaha, Nebraska in a non-wrestling capacity. At a house show in Raleigh, North Carolina on December 28, Maryse dislocated her knee in a tag team match against The Bella Twins when one of the twins initiated a dropkick that landed on her kneecap. Fortunately, the injury was said to not be too serious.

Former WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool has posted a brief blog on the WWE Universe site revealing the names of her "Styles Clash" finishing maneuver as well as the heel hook move she's using. The heel hook is called the "MAD 'T' heel hook." She's calling the "Styles Clash" -- which she performed last week on SmackDown -- the "Faith Breaker." McCool asked fans on her blog to suggest names for moves and these are the names she decided on.

The WWE site has finally moved Goldust's profile from the WWE Alumni section to the Raw section.

The WWE website quietly removed Ron Simmons' profile from the Raw section this afternoon, which should confirm his reported departure from the organization. However, WWE has not made the standard "future endeavors" announcement yet. You can still see Simmons' profile in the WWE Alumni section. In another note, Gavin Spears' profile still has yet to be removed from the ECW roster section.

Jim Ross has a new blog up, here are the highlights: On the release of Sgt. Slaughter: Sorry to hear of my old friend Sgt. Slaughter being released from the WWE as I did not know it until I arrived in Omaha on Tuesday. Sarge and I both worked for Bill Watts back in the 70's, Sarge under his real name of Bob Remus, and for economic reasons we used to split an $8 room, with two beds for you wise asses out there, at the lovely Belmont Motor Inn on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge, La. Sarge and I made many visits to the local Chinese Buffet, usually in the late afternoon, for the all one could eat extravaganza or a "pitch 'till you win" meal. Often times was our lunch AND dinner, or supper for my southern brethren. Sarge went on to become a huge star in wrestling and is one of the nicest individuals to ever work in the biz. I have yet to speak with Sarge but I will and I know he will eventually be fine. Bob has been in tough spots before in this wacky profession and has always persevered. I am not making light of this matter whatsoever as I can relate to Sarge's dilemma. On the release of Ron Simmons: Ron Simmons, who became the first black World's Champion of a major wrestling company when he defeated Big Van Vader in August of 1992 in Baltimore, has also been released from the WWE. I did not know this one either until I walked into the Quest Center Tuesday in Omaha. Ron might want to explore public and motivational speaking as he has a great story to tell and the pipes to tell it. Ironically that night in Baltimore, Ron defeated Leon (Vader) White in a battle of two division one college football stars of significant acclaim and it was a nose guard (Simmons from Florida State) versus a center (White from Colorado) in a match orchestrated by Bill Watts (former lineman at Oklahoma) who was in charge of WCW at that time. On Jack Swagger: My last talent recommendation to the WWE talent relations department is the new ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Swagger wrestled at Oklahoma, my gosh we can't say THAT on TV, and used to eat the occasional meal at the Ross home while a student at OU. Swagger, then known as Jake Hager, was roommates with current Chicago Bear Dusty Dvorchek and the two of them used to hang out at our home. There is no reason Swagger shouldn't be a star if he continues to work hard and doesn't make any foolish or irresponsible mistakes. Educated 6'6"-270 pounders with natural balance, agility, a wrestling background and a bona fide mean streak aren't easy to find. On Stone Cold in the WWE Hall of Fame: The announcement of my friend Stone Cold Steve Austin going into the WE Hall of Fame in Houston on Saturday night April 4 was a big hit in my world. Steve is the greatest star of all time in the wrestling biz if one considers revenue into the equation including tickets and pay per views sold along with merchandise sales. Steve was a fierce competitor who was always his own worst critic and would not allow himself to be any thing but the best in his field. My hiring of Stone Cold certainly made my tenure as the head of talent relations in the WWE look good but, trust me, Steve Austin attained his success through hard work and being an amazing student of the game. Steve did and still does identify amazingly well with wrestling fans, which helped him craft his Stone Cold persona so well. Ironically, Steve became a wrestling fan while watching wrestling from Houston which will be the same city that Steve will close the wrestling chapter of his life at WM25.

HELLO MYSPACERS AND WWE FANS,

LET'S SEE WHATS GOING ON IN THE WORLD OF WWE SHALL WE.

Video game website www.PSXExtreme.com has received a beta copy of WWE's upcoming Legends of Wrestlemania title and they have a note on which characters will be available in the game. Among those listed by the site for the game are Ultimate Warrior and Yokozuna. They wrote: "For starters, you have a game backed by a proper license, allowing THQ to utilize every bit of WWE's assets with ease. In total, 40 of the WWE's greatest superstars and managers have been virtually cast for this Legends game, including Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Yokozuna, The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Jerry Lawler, Ted Dibiase, Mr. Perfect, and many more." This would be the first time gamers could play as Ultimate Warrior or Yokozuna in a WWE video game release from the last decade. The gaming website also discusses the game play, the visuals, its game engine, and more.

In the latest Guinness Book of World Records they have a pointless fact involving the WWE. They stated that the most men to ever compete in a WWE Royal Rumble Match was 30, which happened in 2008. Thought that was weird considering every year there is 30 participants.

Former WWE Women's champ Trish Stratus was most recently spotted at the Gemini Awards in Canada, which is an award ceremony for Canadian movies & television shows. Celeb blog Hellarious.com has some red carpet pictures of the former Diva in a light blue dress that you can check out at this link.

For those who have been wondering, we can confirm that the following wrestlers appear in the upcoming film The Wrestler: Ron "R-Truth" Killings, Ernest "The Cat" Miller, Johnny Valiant, The Necro Butcher, Romeo Roselli, Nigel McGuinness, Tommy Suede, and Manny Yarbrough.

Prior to his knee surgery, Bret Hart was filmed for the upcoming wrestling documentary Bloodstained Memoirs. The film will also feature Chris Jericho, RVD, Mick Foley, The Great Muta and others.

As a result of Rey Mysterio defeating Kofi Kingston and CM Punk defeating John Morrison tonight on Raw, the finals of WWE Intercontinental championship contender's tournament has been set. The match is scheduled to take place at this Sunday's Armageddon pay-per-view.

Last night on Raw, they ran a commercial promoting tonight's main event on ECW featuring Mark Henry & Tony Atlas vs. Finlay & Hornswoggle in a tag team match. This will be Atlas' first match as Mark Henry's manager. This will also be Atlas' first match in a WWE ring since 1991.

Newsblaze.com has photos of the WWE's trip to Iraq.

WWE will be releasing a new book tomorrow called Showdowns: The 20 Greatest Wrestling Rivalries of the Last Two Decades. As the title says, the book looks at the greatest wrestling rivalries from the last two decades. Among the rivalries profiled include Rock vs. Austin, Hogan vs. Savage, the Monday Night Wars, and Austin vs. McMahon.

As noted on Raw, a new DVD set on Kane hits stores. The Twisted, Disturbed Life of Kane is a three-disc set.

On the new Kane DVD set, Kane hosts the DVD in character.

Did you know? SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman's brother is a director for Family Guy.

ON THIS EDITION OF SAVE THE DRAMA.nodrama.jpg

Word is coming in about a major backstage altercation that took place while the WWE crew was overseas in Iraq for Tribute to the Troops. Former ECW personality and WWE.com writer Joey Styles punched out former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield, busting him open under the eye.

JBL is one of the senior members of the WWE lockerroom and has a reputation for being somewhat of a bully. According to several sources, JBL picked out Joey Styles to be the target of his hazing during the Iraq tour. JBL was messing with Styles all week, including calling him condecending names in front of other WWE employees and spilling a drink on him intentionally.

After a few days of abuse, Joey Styles had enough abuse and confronted JBL, who had been drinking at the time. The altercation turned physical and Styles dropped JBL with a punch to the face. Several wrestlers had to step in and break it up.

At last night's RAW tapings, JBL was unusually quiet while Styles tried to play down the incident and did not want to talk about it. While some companies would fire an employee for an incident like this, there are actually some people within the company that feel Styles standing up for himself might actually score him some points with Vince McMahon.

drama whoresdrama queensdrama.jpgdrama.jpg DRAMA image by hiphopqween123

It should be noted that many people in the company don't like when JBL does things like harass other superstars and rib numerous people, but they feel that they have to deal with it due to the fact that he is a tenured veteran and has a lot of political stroke backstage. Many within the company feel that this is karma, due to the fact that JBL has "hazed" people for years and always gotten away with it. Joey Styles tried to downplay the entire incident at RAW yesterday when people brought it up. Also keep in mind that John Morrison was involved in a shoving match with JBL as well and that was only a few months ago. One person I talked to this morning referred to him as "a prick that you just have to deal with."

DK Publishing will release their WWE Encyclopedia on 03/02/09.

THE GREAT AMERICAN BASHTHE GREAT AMERICAN BASHTHE GREAT AMERICAN BASH

It was announced at RAW last night that the Great American Bash PPV will take place in Philadelphia, PA on 7/26/09.

Tickets for the Great American Bash in Philly actually went on sale today at 10:00 a.m. at the Wachovia Center website. You can see the event page at http://www.wachoviacenter.com/

WWE Divas Champion Michelle McCool has a new blog on the WWE Universe site. Once again, she makes note of people saying and writing negative things about her. "It's not easy to filter out all the negative things people say and/or write about you," McCool wrote. "It's not easy to go down the road less traveled. It's not easy to always be yourself." She also defended herself against people who criticize her in-ring work, saying she's done everything possible to improve, not to mention that she's worked very hard to be given the championship opportunity by WWE. "I love how people so quickly forget that I have been here four years and worked my butt off every single day...pitching storylines, training at DSW, working in the ring, doing appearances, etc.," McCool said. "Not just that, but in case you forgot - I'm certainly not the only 'diva search reject' under contract right now." In case you haven't noticed, McCool doesn't use the "Wings of Love" finishing maneuver anymore, which is a double underhook facebuster similar to TNA star Awesome Kong's finisher. According to McCool, she's not allowed to use the move anymore. "I haven't used it in quite some time now, but that's not by choice," she said. "Truth is, I'm not allowed to use it anymore. Apparently, it was too devastating for us girls! Seriously." However, she has plans to introduce a new finishing maneuver soon. "The only good thing about that is that I debuted a new one on Maryse this weekend and believe me, I think you'll be impressed," McCool said. "I have to keep it under wraps for now until I use it on TV. Hopefully, it's not too rough for us girls."

SLAM! Wrestling has an article on SmackDown Diva Natalya today, who appeared at Toronto's Daily Bread Food Bank last week alongside Edge and WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson. With her ties to the Hart legacy, it opens up the question of whether she'll work with DH Smith and TJ Wilson when both are called up to the main roster. Natalya was asked about rumors of a new Hart Foundation and she simply said, "You'll just have to wait and see." While she's happy about her current run in WWE, she feels she's only been able to show a limited side of her personality thus far. "I think for myself, people have only seen just a little bit of Natalya," she said. "And I like that, because then it means I have a very big future. It's nice to know you have longevity somewhere, and that you'll be appreciated." She also talked about the thought process behind her name change to Natalya. "For me, I think I'm in constant evolution. I have a lot of nicknames and Natalya really embraces my true inner diva. I'm a little bit naughty, a little bit nice, but I'm really 'Natalya by Nature,' so for me I've embraced Natalya and it's part of who I am now," she said.

ECW Champion Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Maria and WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito and Primo appeared in Stamford, CT earlier today helping the U.S. Marines with their Toys for Tots campaign.

Batista is on the cover of the latest issue of Fighting Spirit. The headline reads "Batista - "I'm 39... Getting Injured Would Be A Life Sentence." The magazine features an interview with him and he speaks out on Chris Benoit. He is asked if the guys still talk about him, and if so, how is he remembered. "Nobody's over the Benoit thing, not at all. No one who loved or knew him or Nancy or Daniel will ever get over it. We talk about Chris all the time, but out of respect for what he accomplished as a wrestler dedicated to his craft - the ultimate professional who mentored others," Batista said. "The guy that did all those horrible things wasn't the Chris we knew and loved. We didn't know that Chris, so maybe we're in denial. That's not the way I chose to remember Chris. I despise what he did, but I don't choose to remember him for the killings and negative stuff." Batista also added, "He was one of the best people I ever knew in terms of helping others, his accomplishments in the ring, and that's how I chose to remember him. It still hurts and is still a tremendous loss for all of us. He left a real void in the business."

Ron Simmons will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame during a dinner and induction ceremony tonight in New York City, reports PWInsider.com. Simmons commented on his induction. "It really hasn't sunk in yet," Simmons said. This is a tremendous privilege and honor. I was recruited hard by all the Georgia schools and grew up in South Georgia, and they all told me I was going to an all-girls' school without much tradition at Florida State. We proved a lot of people wrong, and it was a fantastic experience playing for coach Bobby Bowden." Simmons' Florida State number #50 was retired in a ceremony in 1988.

Former WWE Tag Team Champion Zack Ryder has a blog talking about a certain fan sign appearing during his match on SmackDown last week. He also asks people to buy their very own Zack Ryder action figure for the holidays.

The talk backstage among several talents within the past 24 hours is that former WWE Women's Champion Victoria is planning to retire soon and depart from the company as a performer. There was a rumor going around over Survivor Series weekend that Victoria had given notice to management but it couldn't be confirmed.

I HOPE NOT WE LOVE VIC........
