Today has been a busy day. Ive been on my feet all day long so it feels pretty good to finally sit down, relax, and share my day with you all.
I was busy at a photoshoot at Smashbox Studios styling an editorial for Teen Vogue. The shoot was really fun though, full of lots of fun, bright spring colors. Lots of Charlotte Ronson dresses, H&M clothes, and lots more. I can wait to see the final outcome. Even more great, I got to work with a good friend of mine, Chanel Iman. I have known her since she was really young, just getting into the industry. We hadn't seen each other in a looong time so we had a lot to catch up on. She has a new man, I have a new baby in the oven...you know, the usual.lol.

I was suppose to go out to Villa tonight with a few friends but honestly, after finally getting home and seeing Anaya all I feel like doing is staying home. So tonight will be a family night.

Tomorrow I will be busy with wedding planning. Ill post tomorrow to update you on everything.

Josh, Anaya, and I are homeless. Just kidding, but we are currently holed up at my parents house. Last week our home got broken into. Stupidly before leaving to go to our good friends Joel and Benji's birthday party I forgot to lock the doors. We returned home late that night and realized that our home had been broken into. The crooks got away with some electronics, some clothes, sports memorabilia, and my engagement ring-which coincidentally I left on the kitchen table as I was rushing.
Its a terrible thing when you come home and realize that people have been rambling through your things, doing God knows what, and taking things. Thats why we are at our parents, I just havent felt completely safe staying their. We will probably go back tomorrow or something, who knows.
I cant complain too much though, we all are safe and have our health. Plus we still have my pregnancy to be celebrating!
On a brighter note, How is everyone's weekend going?

Today I was suppose to make a big announcement but that news has been very much overshadowed with a big surprise, so Ill hold out until next week for it.
However, today I went to my OB/GYN and discovered some amazing news. IM PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, Anaya's going to be a big sister, im going to be a mother of two, and Josh will be a proud papa again. We are overjoyed and couldn't have received a greater blessing.

my laptop was broke and in the hands of Apple but now that Ive gotten it back I will be blogging all the time again.

After the Grammy's last night, Josh and I attended an after-party at Katsu-Ya. It was soo much fun and tons of people were there including Jay-z, Kanye, Solange, Emmy Rossum, Claudia Jordan and Sara Bareilles. We also attended Russell Simmons’ Salute to Grammy Award Nominees after-party but didn't stay too long. It was a wonderful event and my good friends Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush were I'm attendence. It was a wonderful ending to a long day of hard work. Unfortunately, the night also ended with some sad news. Spousal abuse is an extremely serious issue and its disgusting for any man to put his hands on a female. I've known Rihanna for little over a year now and she is a wonderfully talented and beautiful girl. I wish her a full and speedy recovery along with new found love.

Today, as we speak, I'm busy getting my clients ready for the Grammy Awards. I'm styling a few celebrities like Carrie Underwood, Estelle, Ashlee Simpson, and a couple others. I hope everyone watched and don't hesitate to let me know what you thought about how everyone looked on the red carpet. Later tonight, after all of the drama and confusion of styling everyone, I will be attending a few Grammy after-parties. After parties are ALWAYS the best. Its been so long since my last post, I've really been slacking off on my blog. I've just been really busy and haven't had much time. I just got back from Paris where I was attending Couture Week. Couture Week in Paris is always so insanely busy, I barely had time to feed myself. In between the shows, Anaya, meetings, and catching up with everyone, I didn't have much time to get on myspace. I'm back from Paris now, but I have to start getting ready for the Grammy's, the Academy Awards, and much more. Ill be pretty busy up until the end of February, then I get to take a little break. Anyways, just thought I'd catch everyone up on what's going on with me. Hope everyone stays safe after and during all of the super bowl parties. Sorry that I haven't been online in awhile. Ive been away on vacation in St. Barth, working really hard for award season, and now I'm in DC for Barack Obama's inauguration.

I'm so excited to be here to witness such a historic moment in history. WOW. Our first African-American president. The atmosphere here is so joyous and celebratory. Its really crowded though, but I think its amazing that millions have traveled from all over the world to witness this historic moment. Its really amazing.

Today I went to the We Are One Opening Ceremony Concert at the Lincoln Memorial, which was so much fun. So many people were there like Beyonce, Usher, Stevie Wonder, Bono, Tiger Woods, Denzell Washington, and many many more. Our soon to be president Barack Obama and his lovely family were there too.

Happy New Year! 2008 was an amazing year, personal and professionally wise. I gave birth to the love of my life and grew even closer to the man of my life. I can only hope 2009 will be as eventful and fruitful as 2008 was.
