My first published stories are now available…

As of today Chilling Tales of Terror and the Supernatural is available from PD Publishing. I was lucky enough to have 5 pieces of flash fiction accepted into this revolutionary anthology. Rather then buying it from one of the book corps, if you can, I ask readers to support your local independent lgbt friendly bookstores.

Here's the basics :)

Chilling Tales of Terror and the Supernatural

Edited by Patty G. Henderson

ISBN: 978-1-933720-46-3 (1-933720-46-8)

Tradepaperback cover price = $15.99 USD

Available through your local bookstore OR you may purchase your copy now directly from Amazon.com (world-wide), Amazon.ca , Amazon.co.uk, Barnes and Noble, or StarCrossed Productions, or through Lambda Rising.

Genre: Anthology / Flash Fiction Stories

Read an Excerpt!

Synopsis:

Horror flash fiction – micro short stories 1,000 words or less. Also known as "short shorts", flash fiction has taken off in popularity. Gay/Lesbian literature has been quick to pick up on it with an online flash fiction web site.

Chilling Tales of Terror and the Supernatural: In 1,000 Words or Less, edited by Patty G. Henderson, will be the first lesbian/gay horror flash fiction anthology published.

Authors who are participating in this great adventure include:
Mark Apoapsis
Victor J. Banis
Barbara L. Clanton
Moondancer Drake
Patty G. Henderson
Amy J. Ira
Paul Milliken
Rick R. Reed
Crystal Michallet-Romero
Hayden Thorne
Fran Walker
MJ Williamz

Patty G. Henderson is the author of the Brenda Strange supernatural suspense series, the Karnov vampire trilogy and former editor of FLASH FANTASTIC online magazine. Her flash fiction has been published in many online flash fiction magazines.

Since I never heard back from this week's author for her spotlight, I thought it might be fun to share some really great interviews I've read this year. Since I joined Queer Girl Talk, I've seen some wonderful work done there by Deven, and I'd like to share some of 2007's personal faves. Come check out the Author's Spotlight Special Event "Best QGT interviews of 2007"

Instead of doing my weekly Friday Flashback, I've decided to go for a Friday Freeform called Australia Dreaming. So many people were talking about traveling lately, I thought I might find some pics of one of the places I've dreamed up seeing for a long time. I don't know if I can ever afford it, but not giving up on the dream quite yet.

Okay, it's been suggested if I want to increase my readership I need to post at a number of blogs. Okay, I'm not sure how that'll work, but I'll figure it out. Most of the time it my mean posting links at one, or crossposting, depending on the topic, but some things will be different at each.

I've got these blogs besides My Space

Blogs

Live Journal: http://moondancerdrake.livejournal.com

Blogspot/Blogger: http://moondancerdrake.blogspot.com/

Wordpress: http://moondancer.wordpress.com/

I honestly don't think I can handle more than 4 if I plan to post daily. So, unless there's a blog place that is all of that and a pound of chocolate, this is what I got to work with. Any thoughts on multiple blogs and how useful it is?

My pirate name is:

Captain Morgan Bonney

Even though there's no legal rank on a pirate ship, everyone recognizes you're the one in charge. You can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr!
