So there I am in the depths of Revelation.  Every word playing out like a Frank Peretti novel...  Ok maybe not exactly??  But!!!

Here it is my statement for the day.  GET REAL!  Church WAKE UP and stop fooling yourselves.  James, Jesus brother, was a really wise guy and wrote a great letter:

We enjoyed a lovely field trip to a local Dominoes pizza place yesterday with our homeschool coop.  We experienced Dominoes in all it's pizzarific splendor.  We ate yummy pizza and truly had a charming afternoon.  The kids were in all their glory! 

I never had THIS experience yesterday, but don't you hate it when you're eating a slice of ooey gooey pizza and unbeknownst to you a giant slop of sauce parks itself on your chin.  You are clueless that it's there.  If you have a true friend, they will inform you of your unfortunate facial adornment.  If not, the next trip to the bathroom mirror will be slightly embarassing.  What's worse is when you see the spot, but forget to wash it off because your two-year-old decided to yank all the toilet paper off the roll and decorate.  But how about our hearts?  Do our hearts regularly carry sauce spots?  Some of us are simply in SAUCE DENIAL!  Everyone else can see it but we refuse to wipe it off!!!  We simply REFUSE to allow the blood of Jesus to do its cleansing work.

LORD JESUS!!!  HELP!  Help your church.  You are coming back for a bride without spot or blemish and wonder if You'll even find faith on the earth at Your return.  Help us dear sweet Jesus to get in YOU and allow You to get our acts together!  No MORE just hearing and not doing.  Help us to GET REAL!!!  Really into Loving You and doing YOUR work

Thank You for Your patience!  AMEN!!!

I don't know how it happened, but what I do know is that God wired me to be a ham.  Perhaps a cheese omelet.  I have this NEED.  This deep down need to be a drama queen.  If left unfulfilled too long it will come out in weird places like the grocery store check out line to the whiney kid in the cart ahead of me.  It starts with a little wink and a grin. Then progresses until the mom starts giggling too.  Then Sunday School class...  Thank God for my Sunday School class.  I teach the teenagers types.  VBS!!!  Vacation Bible School resident Bible story lady  every night someone new!!!  What great opportunities!!!  But the crem de la crem is COMMUNITY THEATER!!!  I love community theater!  One year I got to be the rich snobby lady in the Sound of Music...  What a dream role!!!  And now....drum role please! 

I got the role of Nancy in Oliver!  Cockney here I come!!! I washed me face n hans before I came I did.  Ok that's My Fair Lady..  Liza Doolittle is really my ideal role.  I can only dream of such an amazing role 

So we are excited.  My son gets to be Oliver and his mum gets to look after 'im even in the theater realm hehe.

YIPPEEEEEE!  Living the dream!  It's what God wired me for.  Isn't it beautiful how God in His amazing creativity gives us each unique passions and interests?  I have 4 kids.  Each one of them is completely different!!!  My sweet hub has completely different interests and abilities than me!  How wonderful for our homeschool adventure!  They get math lessons in a British accent from me (with complete "that's so annoying" protests) and how to make maple syrup lessons hanging out with their dad while he cooks sap on the back deck.  Amazing!

Don't wait another day!  Pursue what God wired you to do!  (Responsibly!!!  No leaving your wife or dumping your family!!!  And God DID NOT call you to be a drug addict or murderer!!!  We're talking Godly passions here NOT carnal!!!  Had to clarify just in case)

So you got problems, eh?  Welcome to some good company!  You have in your circle of fellow trouble havers giants of the faith like Paul the Apostle, Moses, King David, and every other major and minor player in the Bible.  In fact, you have the whole lot of the human race to join you in your trouble.  We ALL have problems, life glitches, annoying issues, crap sandwiches.  This, my friend, is the human condition.  Blame it on Adam and Eve falling for the devil's lie!  That whole curse thing!!! 

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Along comes Jesus!!!  He's the answer!  He warned us that we'd have tribulation here in this skin, but goes on to give us HOPE!!!  WE WIN!!

So if you're bummed.  If you are buried in your misery and trouble, don't lose hope.  It's found in Christ.  Your circumstance may never change!!!  But neither will Jesus and His promises!

Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Good NEWS indeed!  If you've never experienced the wonder of having Jesus as your best friend, do not wait another moment!!!  

Jesus is just a prayer away! ASK Him to be Lord of your life; SEEK Him for wisdom by studying His word the Bible, KNOCK until your eyes are opened!!!

GOLLY WOW!  I went to Goodwill one of my favorite stores on earth.  I love finding treasures in others peoples trash.  Perhaps it could be diagnosed as a neurosis?  Psychosis?  But I get some really GREAT deals.  Like the amazing wool jacket.  VERY hip for a grand total of $1.99.  ALMOST FREE to which my very frugal brilliant husband GUFFAWS.  If we had all the clams from my almost free expenditures we'd be hundredaires... I haven't spent a million!  So the jacket was extremely delightful, but it wasn't the most exciting attraction.  Are you ready?  Is the suspense killing you?  Can you contain your curiosity??

Dawn's World Famous Veggie Juice Recipe #4210

1 carrot

1 celery stalk

1 tomato

1 clove garlic

1 Tbsp red onion

Shove all of these items into hopper of juice extractor, MINUS FINGERS!!!

Ooh and aaah as juice comes out of little pour spout.  Hopefully you remember to place glass under pour spout or a giant mess will result.
